Thanks Michael for the video. I am one of those you mentioned that just ordered a Yoko+ from your web site. I received it in 3 days. I could not be more pleased with it. It does everything that everyone says it does. My landings were instantly improved with the high resolution feedback that the extended travel provides. The new Hall Effect sensors now installed in the Yoke will provide much greater durability and accuracy than the older type potentiometers did. And thanks also for opening up the case. I was curious how the Hall Effect Sensors were installed. The Yoke is expensive, but in my view worth every dollar if you are a serious flight simmer. I bought the TQ6+ Throttle Quadrant also. It's quality is also unmatched. My Saitek Yoke and Throttles are now retired.

I bought the original YOKO several months ago (wish I'd known the plus was on the horizon). Anyhow, here is my experience, which makes me question their quality control department. After around two weeks of use, the bungee cord clamps started hitting the casing making a noise and thump whenever I'd turn the yoke. I opened the case and found several clamps loose and this bungee cord starting to fray! I tightened them up and notified tech support. They were very helpful and sent extra cords in case I needed to replace them, but that wasn't necessary just yet. However, a bigger problem was the jitter I'd get in the cockpit yoke onscreen whenever I turned the yoke to it's extreme roll limits and held it there. I thought it was probably defective potentiometers. However, after several interactions with tech support, they determined that the problem was a defective circuit board. So they sent me another one (a small board), with updated firmware. I replaced it in five minutes and the issue was resolved. NOW the yoke is finally functioning as it should have from the beginning and I love it. My advice to anyone who purchases such an expensive piece of hardware like this is, OPEN it up if you can and check if anything is loose or out of place. Fortunately, their tech support is really good and I didn't have to ship it back to Spain. I also purchased the TQ6 + which works flawlessly.

I wonder why manufactures went to using bungees instead of springs. I have 2 older PFC Cirrus yokes and both have springs and they do not wear out. These springs are sill going strong after 20 years. Bungees looks as if they would wear out or possibly snap.

Agreed. Just curious, is there something that matches the Yoko quality with steel springs that you're aware of?

I’m surprised that the pitch bungee is mounted asymmetrically. If you pull a crossbow string back like that you’ll know it. I wonder if that can be felt?

Same tbh. I was confused by that myself. I suspect that you want forward/aft tension and ideally it'd actually go parallel along the yoke bar. It seems diagonal was a compromise but may not be a bad thing.

Michael, thank you for this review. I’m waiting for more details on the Honeycombe yoke which I believe is due in July. I’m hoping that you will get your hands on one to give your opinion & make my decision a bit easier.
