How to beat rexs as spino with broken leg - The Isle

- a tutorial for how you can beat rexes with spino despite having a broken leg, if a rex likes to twirl or turn around very quickly spino will lose majority of the time but for survival and DM this is a very effective way of defeating rexes. When I am looking up I'm hitting the rexes tail as it runs out, and I'm always forcing the rex to run into my face. Rexes that can snipe or bite behind themselves or like to turn really early and double bite will pretty much always defeat spino sadly but with this tactic your odds of defeating them are greatly increased and is possible as you can see demonstrated here in this video.

It's always good to remember that in rex vs spino, rex always has the upper hand. It's good to do some strategies to try to make him miss the double bite instead of just rushing from the front, if he knows how to use the boat with each step you won't hit his tail and consequently you will lose the fight, besides he can fakes too , so it's always good to have a pre-fight strategy
Ya rex does 100% have the upper hand, rex mains get mad at me when I say that but it's TRUE lol. And I wish you the best of luck with making a rex miss their doubles if their a very good rex, can wiggle and stuff but reliably dodging every double is a nightmare. Rex can be beat even when twirling early and break checking just hard, rex will win more often than spoon will. In survival a game plan is needed for sure but if you get caught just gotta do the best you can and going for tail nips is your best bet

Like the issue I have is with Rex's that turn around very early so you dont get any tail nips and they then double bite you, like sometimes you can win but majority of the time you get clapped lol

I look down just so I can see where the rex is going and look up to clip the rexes tail

Your aiming for the rexes tail, so when rex runs out to watch where they go and look up to try and hit the tail
how do I get bite the tip of the tail because whenever I go try to bite the tail I don't get it right
hard to say since I'm not seeing you play but it could be you're turning around to slow, could not be angled enough, hard to say for sure

also when turning around why dont u straight away look up and instead look to the side still when u turn then last minute you look up, shouldnt you straight away look up when u have tuned to bite the tails
I wait a second because rex could break check and if your looking up you wint notice if he stopped and get caught
ah yes I remember when I was called MTK Hakaishin Vegetable. Just fought Kellen earlier got him to 4th a decent amount of times. I think we were both getting fatigue the longer we gone though.

Not sniping him since the rexes tail is in my face, with leg break your dino goes into a limp position which lowers the hitbox so to hit the rexes tail you gotta look up. Now sniping can also be handy but from my experience not super useful in spino v rex since you dont get the chance to snipe much at the rex. But yes I agree the game is very bugged lol

I mean good and all but why after the rex apperently brakes ur leg won't just leave u to bleed obviously u won't be able to catch it so he'll stay in a distance in which if u lay down ur dead and if u cannot bite him he won't die what does the spino do then?
Rex gives barely any bleed while spino can max a rexes bleed in 4 bites, rex has to fight or bleed to death. If spino got bit twice, and the rex got bit twice and decides to bleed, the spino will heal the bleed and limp after the rex and eventually heal its leg break. Rex cant bleed spino the way spino and giga can bleed other apexes
@@garboplaysgames5233 ah I see which is why rex has to engage into the fight cuz otherwise it'll bleed to death and that gives the spino a chanse to kill the rex via with it's bites and bleed at the same time but even then I spino takes great dmg from the rex so it's a close battle one mistake can cost everything.
Oh ya 100% it is a mega hard fight for spino when encountering a very good rex, you cant slip up or like you said its death
How much bleed is it required in order to bleed out a rex?
4 bites is all you need as long as you keep the rex standing, that will give the rex triple bleed

Yes that is enough, rex has very bad bleed heal, so if spino stacks enough bleed to give the rex triple bleed which is 4 bites and you manage to escape and go back into ambush you will beat the rex.

I would take this video's advice if only this poorly coded game would stop spinning me 360 degrees and completely desync my turning to where I'm looking. Happens in 85% of my fights and makes me lose every time
for some reason I don't have spino in any servers but other people do, why don't I have it?
Like in survival? Spino is a non survival so you have to have someone nest you in to be one

Normally each server will have a discord that you can join and earn points in to buy grows and non survivals

If a rex stops you need to trade with him, he has to move. If you turn to early and get caught its rexes win

That's a super hard matchup and theres many ways rex can counter anything the giga does but I can make a video on how its possible, just would have to keep in mind that rex will win WAY more often than giga ever will lol

@@apex4394 well any good riders in general really, seen allos, ceras, dilos, even dibbles kill some of the best rex players in the game lol. In apex battles rex is extremely broken though for sure, with only spino and shant really putting up much of a fight if their skilled enough.
