While apexes would still have the upperhand against stego, a good stego player can use that extra hp to deal critical blows and win the interaction , not to mention the better bleed heal and resist is also very welcomed . It will survive a bit longer against gigas and maybe even win a bleeding fight if it lands enough hits . As for mid tiers it is unfortunate that we couldn't balance stego for them . Due to stego's turn radius being so quick the only way to make it fair against mid tiers would be to lower it's damage or significantly decrease it's bleed damage or hp as mid tiers cannot land free hits on a stego with that turn radius, and if we did that it would be defenceless against apexes . Glad you went the making it viable against apexes route . I'd love to throw a piece about all the changes lol but I know it would be too long lol, so I'll just talk about anky as well, great change overall going the tanky route is great . Unfortunately anky has a very bad hitbox and anatomy overall , making apexes be able to ride it on it's blind spot , biting it's head and avoiding the tail , i wonder if the hitbox could be slightly better ( idk if that's even possible lol , but idk anything about modding lemme know if hitboxes can be changed because I do have some suggestions to fix trike , para and shant hitboxes too ) . While stego becoming even harder for mid tiers is sad, there's not much they could do in the first place, so going apex was probably the only way xDDDDD Now, hitboxes are possible to edit, but it is very experimental. I've seen puertasaurus hitbox mods and OpenDinos para, both of which work on hitboxes. I tried working with them to an extent with shant, but they didn't seem to work and i focused on other things. Editing anky's hitbox should be easier than shant, but i'd guess that the best change for anky (imo) is going for even more weight and 100% lb. It makes anky punishable if it gets ambushed from the front and takes the fight to an equal level where you either ride it well or die. An ankylosaurus with edited hitboxes could work, but i think it would break more things than it would fix. Any ideas are welcome dawg! As long as the dinosaur doesn't differs that much from the original one and a player can just pick it up and play with it, the idea is good xDD But again, thanks for the support g. I hope that ava and dryo getting buffs tops the mods on these videos, if not it all depends on the future vanilla+ update or the standalone paleo rex rework! (?

I think in general a good way to buff anky without changing it's hitbox would be to make it a tank . Right now even though anky has a blind spot it is mostly exploited by rex with it's leg break . Even though spino and giga can abuse it too since anky is not leg broken a good anky can position properly and not get bit by the enemy ( well against giga that's the case , spino turns too quick so anky can't ride it ) . I think if we make it a dino that can't be tanked by apexes it will fix a lot even with the garbage hitbox . And since it turns so slow it's not impossible for apexes to out manouver it and be forced to brawl it to death so it won't be op . This way apex needs to play more cautiously but if it's skilled it can out play the anky . But if we did go for the super tanky buff I think the lb chance can't be 100% anymore . Ur option is nice too I guess anky will become a gamble dino . Either gets ambushed and loses or wins in a head on battle . Very interesting take u got there . I don't know if we can change to what bone is the hitbox attached, or just make it straigth bigger (i think that on vanilla trike it wouldn't be as annoying, but shant would be a beast lmao). I could go the same route with anky maybe, moving the tail hitbox somewhat more close to it's body (that blindspot where it can be riden) and then making it bigger to not lose any range at the tail. But idk, in the first version of vanilla+, anky was 9500kg and did 620dmg, with 100% lb. While it sounds busted, it only outdamaged rex by one swipe and rex had to perfectly ride it in order to win. Brake checks, predictions, counterturns, it all mattered in that. Maybe going for a middle point in between this anky and this prior version may work! On trike's case, the TLDR is that LB could patch the issue. While i will experiment with trike's hitbox, in case of this not working out i can either make the hitbox bigger (like in early versions) or just give go back to LB. Maybe a little less extreme than in the first iteration of vanilla+ (?) But in any case, i'll tinker with it. Getting trike's hitbox to work properly would be great lmao
The mod is public and isn't exclusive to any server. Right now there's "dinastía dorada" and "The Isle pangea", both spanish servers. But any sv is free to use the mods i made! xDD

The TLDR is that i mostly make them for fun, but i don't think legacy will dissapear xDD While i get that making mods for a multiplayer game with low-population it's not the best idea, the rumours of legacy getting deleted are mostly rumours. The closest thing to legacy dissapearing was the mention of evrima becoming the main branch. If you ask me, it either just stays as an old branch of the game or in best case scenario, it's sold separately from evrima (both games are way too different and will keep moving apart)

These changes are really good but i have a disagreement on the following: First herra should have more damage than a utah because of its quick growing time and its very fast speed as herra would be a better low tier than a utah Second giga should not have a leg break at all because its a apex built for bleeding out your prey and is not a tank unlike the rex and with its fast trot it would make giga more op Third rex should not regen stam while walking as it defeats the purpose of been precaution with your stam while playing as a rex because its the strongest apex i think it should gain stam while walking just like trike doesn't regain stam while walking because trike it the one of the best herbi apex Last of all rex should stay with the same bleed resistance because the only way to beat a giga as a rex is to bleed them out because that is the gigas best aspect and it ruins gigas best aspect of its self to defeat a rex and rex is already more overpowered than giga you shouldn't make that worse Hope you take these opinions in to consideration for your new server.

We also don't care much about the intended vision of "it was meant to not be a tank or such" xDD But your concerns are valid, it seems OP in paper. 3) All of these rex buffs came just because we nerfed rex best tool, being it's lb. It's all proportional, as rex is way less agressive and more punishable if it makes gets damaged enough by a giga. We've also made an alternative version with 30% LB, but with enough stamina to dodge a lot of shit. You should try it!
