This is easily one of the greatest musical scores ever made, even the original in 16 bit format is beautiful and haunting. It's a shame what the series has turned into, if only they'd stayed on the course of turn based tactical rpgs instead, we'd have remastered versions of 1 and 2 with full orchestra sound tracks of the original and like 4 more good games to have played and look forward to rerelease
Agreed. Demake SF3 to some highres 2d art and upgrade SF1 and 2 to the same style. Release all five games (throw in Premium Disc translation) and unlockable art / sound test whatever. Upload recording of your battle strats and compete in leaderboards (if you want to have an online thing) or a co-op mode where people can play as the AI. Design your own characters from various skills unlocked by this character or this achievement. Whatever. But it could be done CHEAP, outsource it to whoever if you want.

Gong was our strongest player lol. BUT THEN we knew that we were doing something wrong. We played it again like we should have... to our surprise we were so close earlier... brings so much memories. My twin brother and I are real fanatics of it lol. We still play it now and we're 27 lol.
Shining Force was the first game I ever beat when I was younger. My mother played it as a kid and passed it down to me. I love this game and its music so much.

Ah yes, Shining Force: The Dark Dragon and the Light Sword. My favorite Fire Emblem game from my childhood. For real though, if i didn't play this game when I was super young, I don't think I would have gained interest in Fire Emblem. It was on a "Sega Smash Pack" for the Dreamcast, and I just fell in love with this game. It's music was a big reason too, so I love how well this sounds.

I think your arrangements have embodies the composer's idea well. I was going to arrange this but you've done so well that I'll just choose some pieces of it to arrange. For symphonies, I think you'd better not use compressor to any of your arranged songs--the dynamic is quite important.
Is it possible to petition for Camelot Software Planning(used to be Sonic! S.P.) to open source the Mega Drive Shining titles? This should not affect their current business, but would open up a space of possibilities for this legendary series
