Still a very fun game though. Unlike other similar games, like Overwatch and other not-so-realistic team shooters, all of the mercenaries from TF2 feel fun, unique, and worthwhile to play. The Sniper's pee jar is part of his arsenal, and the sandvich is part of The Heavy's. The Scout's accent is Boston, not New York :) The Tzu - Zoo pun in The Soldier is great

Tf2 is one of, if not the longest lasting multiplayer games of all time, as it came out in 2007 and still has an active and thriving player base to this very day Fun fact: the sandvich is an unlockable secondary item for the heavy added in 2008, valve kept adding new secondary items for the heavy but none of them evem came close to being as good as the sandvich, until the 2017 jungle inferno update added the second banana, and to this day it hasnt been decided if the sandvich or second banana is the better option
I love that you rewind the videos, look at all the details and really try to understand it all. It was amazing reaction video thanks to it and really worth watching.
I really enjoyed your reaction; I like how you discussed your favorite things from each one. And to answer your question, the sandvich is a joke of sorts because TF2 is rather humorous in and out of game, but it is also an item that a heavy can eat or give to others for health. Also, just to clear up if you didn’t know, Overwatch is actually heavily inspired by TF2, so many of the ideas such as Torbjörn were actually sort of based off of the TF2 classes. Overwatch released in 2015, while TF2 released in 2007 (though it’s still living strong and very fun to play). I’d love to see you react to more things TF2.
A reaction channel who can actually make inferrences and figure out whats going on. This is refreshing, I'm tired of people who just go "WHAT" and repeat what's said. I also really like how you hold most comment until the end and rewind to the relevant point. Really good shit man
Meet the Spy is also indicitive of how you play spy. You can disguise as the enemy team, but acting like the enemy team is just as important to not get caught.
My favourite one is also Meet the Medic. I love the medic, he's especially good in the comics. Also, fun fact, people have always speculated as to the gender of the Pyro and Valve had some fun with this when they released Meet the Pyro (the last one they released). If you watch it with subtitles on the Scout says "He's not here, is she?" I assume if you're doing more TF2 stuff we'll see you do a reaction to Expiration Date, their short film. Looking forward to it!
interesting fact about the meet the medic video is that in the game if you blow up a scout there's a chance that Archimedes (the bird that's stuck in his chest) will actually fly away
As soon as I saw this upload I had to click. Great reaction! I suggest Expiration Date, Jungle Inferno, Mann vs. Machine, MvM - The Sound of Medicine and End of the Line. That last one is fan made and very popular in the community.
Ano got killed by someone else for this comment 😅. Think it’s coz all I watch previously was Overwatch but yep I now know that it’s clearly the other way round.
You noticed so many tiny details, I hoped you would notice the last one. In the zooming out shot of "Meet the Pyro" you can see, that right there on the gas mask it sais "optical mask". So he actually is not psycho.
One of the first reaction channels in a long while that seems like there's any genuine emotion going on. Idk if you're actually interested in these videos or if you're just a good actor, but you've obtained a sub. Edit: For clarification the Sandvich was a joke video made for an item you can equip to the Heavy, and whenever he picks up ammo drops he just grabs a new sandwich.
The sandvich is an actual item. It originally healed 120hp over a short time by taunting with it out. It got buffed to heal 300hp, but now has a 30 second cooldown. The cooldown is not initiated if the taunt does not actually restore health.
Nice! Some new ones that I've not heard of in there...i plan to cover Expiration date next and will work my way through them every week. if i miss any let me know!
in the game that are a item name pyrovision after u use u can see all thing friendly like a new map and thats very cool for me, btw its for every class
I didn't know this many years ago when I first got my goggles, and I was in Dustbowl (one of the few maps fully designed for pyro vision) blew mah mind lol.
The sandvich (yes it's spelt that way in the game) is actually a secondary weapon for the heavy which heals the heavy to full health after a cooldown and an animation.
Medic is my favorite too I actually main him in game and I think I do a pretty good job. Though when its one of those days when I lag like crazy I usually stay out of the middle of the battle field and is willing to heal an enemy spy if they are friendly
i rolled a rare unusual for the medic so i always mained him.. then one day out of no where half my inventory was deleted so i lost it.. i checked some of the tf2 websites and they didn't have any records of the effect i had in my unusual and one website said that like only 3 of the item existed

This is certainly a pleasant surprise to see you react to this. Always been a huge fan of TF2, make sure to watch Expiration Date and End of the Line too! There also a bunch of animators on UA-cam who make TF2 animations, I especially recommend the Winglet. Anyways, loving this stuff, keep it up, you have a very friendly corner of the internet here. The Team Fortress 2 community is very passionate about the game, so I'll let everyone else tell you all the secret bits of lore, story and gameplay because I bet they will!
in the game the Sandvich is exclusive to the Heavy as a healing item but if you kill him I believe he either drops or drops it if you kill a heavy while their eating it and you can consume it to regain health but as far as the cast goes you can't say you DON'T like any of them because their all so dam unique
Because many people don't know about this and people call it a copycat of torbjorn TF2 engineer is the original and Torbjorn is the copy obviously within their respective games. For some reason people make a big deal out of it but its factual that tf2 engineer is the original and Torbjorn is a character based around the engie from tf2.

a fun fact is also, that both spies are spooken by the same voice actor and yeah, RIP the voice actor from the soldier (you wrote the title wrong in the list), he was also voice actor from famous chars from other games, including "Do a Barrerroll" from Star Fox
Just from what I've seen so for the thing that appeals to me is its simplicity. Sometimes you get the impression that certain games can try and make things overly complicated to try and make it look "technical" like this is some kind of good thing. TF2 seems straight to the point, the characters, the game play, its style, even the names say it all.
Fun Fact: For Meet the Sandvich, there was no script ready, only a general idea for what happens. The voice actors for Scout (Nathan Vetterlein) & Soldier (Rick May; Rest his soul) *ad libbed* a bunch of lines & what we hear is what they kept for the video. In Meet the Medic, there's really a reason why there's a Blue Spy's still-living head in his refrigerator. That's a leftover idea from the first draft of the Meet the Medic video, which Valve didn't complete, instead they went with the video we see here. You can at least see that original concept in the video called, "Meet the Medic -- Outtakes" right here on UA-cam. Also, the Medic is the only man for which Heavy has any *respect* because, as we have seen, the Medic has indeed outsmarted a bullet. Meet the Demoman: While he's sitting there talking, his hand brushes against on of his grenade charges which gets itself *armed & primed* before dropping off the table... Ethan Livemere (about Meet the Sniper) @6:37 "We all know what that is" --Yep. But I've noticed a distinct *lack* of Winglet's "Meet the Jarate" video in this playlist...
While this detail isnt actually confirmed. When blue spy properly closes the butterfly knife he hands it back to 'Scout' despite having no reason to. So it's possible Spy recognized another spy and returned his knife out of respect
The story of the Pyro is that it's not his mind that makes him see his actions as all colourful and helpful, its his goggles. That in mind they gave away a free cosmetic which was the goggles. It changes all the colours to pastels and some of the Pyro's animations. Best of all the kill feed says "made friends" instead of the kill icon.
I'm not entirely sure if this is true, but I read from a comment on some other video that it *is* just what Pyro sees, but the goggles give everyone else a glimpse of that vision. I can see that and the item description sort of gives evidence to it but I'm still not entirely sure
Fun fact: When the spy said he could be you he could be me he could even be right behind you And the spy knew it was the scout because he got cut in the safe side of the knife yes I'm a tf2 nerd
the spy didnt know it was he scout.. and when anyone first flips a balisong with no experience they will definitely flinch even when the safe side hits them
I’d like to mention another funny thing about Soldier, he was actually rejected from every single branch of the U.S. military during WWII. So after the war ended he booked a flight to Germany and went on a “Nazi” killing spree
yeah except that one is bullshit because they specifically say that only in meet the medic can scout survive 3 rockets and he cant in game but then proceed to bring up a time tracer uses her warp more than she can in game. they use in game scout but cinematic tracer which is stupid, they demonstrate a complete misunderstanding of how Bonk! works, and they give scout his almost standard loadout instead of a better one

Ethan Livemere (about Meet the Sniper)
@6:37 "We all know what that is"
--Yep. But I've noticed a distinct *lack* of Winglet's "Meet the Jarate" video in this playlist...
I will never not love the fingerprint on the screen in meet the scout
"and now hes here to fuck US" aslways gets me laughing
The red spy, when hes disguised as the blue scout, hits himself with the flat edge of the knife, so it would actually hurt him.
While this detail isnt actually confirmed. When blue spy properly closes the butterfly knife he hands it back to 'Scout' despite having no reason to. So it's possible Spy recognized another spy and returned his knife out of respect
Well, basically torbjorn is overwatch version of engineer
You can see a person in the window when heavis heart hit Archamedes
4:23 if you are a heavy and you eat it, you get health. But only when you are a heavy class.
Well, you can throw it at other players for them to gain health too
The story of the Pyro is that it's not his mind that makes him see his actions as all colourful and helpful, its his goggles.
It heals you whenever you eat it it’s heavy or you can drop it for your teams
Respect for you m8 ;D
Fun fact: When the spy said he could be you he could be me he could even be right behind you
And the spy knew it was the scout because he got cut in the safe side of the knife yes I'm a tf2 nerd
This is why commas and periods are important
the spy didnt know it was he scout.. and when anyone first flips a balisong with no experience they will definitely flinch even when the safe side hits them
Fun fact, sniper can throw the jars of piss at enemies to make them recieve crits
🤣🤣 that’s hilarious!
How have you not seen these yet
Very late to the game I guess!
We're faster than a speeding bullet, BOINK
The p*ss jars are called Jarate (yes Jar Karate) and whenever an enemy is coated in it they take more damage.
@QuetzaCota Love how its an in-game weapon 🤣
@@TheReelSym ye
when it says meet the sandwich instead of the sandvich:
-russian music-
8 years later
This is early simpsons(Conan) levels of comedy writing
When you learn that Overwatch is basically inspired by Tf2
Let's not forget Engineer has 13 degrees
I’d like to mention another funny thing about Soldier, he was actually rejected from every single branch of the U.S. military during WWII. So after the war ended he booked a flight to Germany and went on a “Nazi” killing spree
Yeah
Flesh killing machine
Even the war is finished
The sandwich does in fact heal the player that eats it
Just so you know, spy is scouts dad, (no one tell em though)
"My pretty shuffler" what the hell
It's french.
@@DM_2145 I know what it means but the subtitles make it weird
There is a great Tracer vs. Scout Deathbattle here: ua-cam.com/video/lT8EnpEQMsY/v-deo.html
yeah except that one is bullshit because they specifically say that only in meet the medic can scout survive 3 rockets and he cant in game but then proceed to bring up a time tracer uses her warp more than she can in game. they use in game scout but cinematic tracer which is stupid, they demonstrate a complete misunderstanding of how Bonk! works, and they give scout his almost standard loadout instead of a better one
To say that the engineer is a version of torbjorn is basically blasphemy
Trust me I’ve been flamed on this more times than I can count!😓 In my defence this was the first TF2 I had watched while up to that point I had watched 20+ overwatch videos. Well that’s my excuse anyways!
3:28 NUUUUMMM NUUUUUUUMMM!!! NUM NUM NUM NUM NUM! EAT SOME MORE!!! NUM NUM NUM
Idk random comment lol

Nah nah nah, torbjorn is over watches version of the tf2 engineer
I love your accent, where are you from?
Thank you! Near a place called Leeds in the UK.
I don't know who you are or how you got in my recommended, I'm just here to watch the videos again
Also copyrighted music protection on meet the pyro, nice.
where is SANDVICH?
Tf2s engie is what inspired torbjorn
Ano got killed by someone else for this comment 😅. Think it’s coz all I watch previously was Overwatch but yep I now know that it’s clearly the other way round.
so lets meet the heaveh
Everyone: how dare you compare Engi and Torbjorn
Me: what was that about Scout? He is from Boston ... ò^ó
Just happy someone picked up on something else!
Most comments of late are flaming me for the Torbjörn comparison 😅
@@TheReelSym Yeah that must be really annoying with Time. I get that 😅
Awsome Video btw
I just realized this isn’t our universe it takes place in the TF2 universe so maybe soldier was right about sun zsu
Torb is the overwatch version of the engineer
@The Reel Sym the trailer was old \
