I never listened music like this, but Jinjer hypnotized me ... How its possible? WTH?

There are a lot of great bands like jinjer out there that will help you digest this genre with time. If you want to give it a try, I recommend bands like Babymetal and ladybaby (they're japanese+"cute" metal) but will help, then you can check maximum the hormone that is heavier but still melodic and a little bit poppy and punk-y then you can get to heavier bands like behemoth, slipknot and other heavy/extreme bands. Bands like signs of the swarm, deviloof are brutal and you can check them when you're ready. Bands like linkin park and korn can help you to get introduced to metal too. I hope that will help you

Another reason to really love this band! While other heavy bands have lyrics about self pity, satan, or, some dumb fantasy rubbish, Jinjer has lyrics that matter. They're talking about real shit. They're using their art to start conversations, to get people thinking about uncomfortable things. Eugene, and, Tatiana are two of the best, and, most intelligent lyricists around.

The song kicks ass! The lyrics are uncomfortable, but I think that is great as well. I hope they'll play in Ireland someday... if not, I'll wait for a headline tour before I fly to London to see them. They should be headliners very soon, I think!

I love Jinjer, it’s one of my favorite bands, the band says that this song is one of their most darkest songs ever both musically and lyrically, I hope it’s not based on real life childhood memories of Tatiana, the lyrics in this song are really sad and dark, it’s a really great and heavy song coated in darkness...
Great reaction Ruben, I love your channel, keep going strong, greetings from Denmark...

If what I've read is correct, Eugene wrote the lyrics for this one, and, it is NOT based on any personal experience.

Lyrical content somewhat similar to OTEP, and as usual, the instrumentation and song structure is amazing. Can't wait to see this band live.

Saw the video a few house ago and IT seems heavy, deep and a little bit scary.. and brutal , no doubt . Different style they are playing here, I suppose its part of the development of their music.. I really like these last 2 songs
Good reaction my friend, as always.

Not my favourite song by Jinjer, but with that said it's still leaps and bounds over so many other songs these days. Jinjer is anyway a fuckin' masterpiece-band. It's like you said, Ruben; "A new Jinjer video. 'nuff said."

I've been making lyrics to my songs and I always take some kind of a imaginitive role of the teller in which I can be what ever kind of a person from a victim to an oppressor. So I believe, and hope, this is not herself been in the situation as a child. Thou, the best lyrics come out of the thing you've experienced yourself. You can't draw, what you can't see.

Think this is the darkest song they have done so far, even more so than No Hoard of Value, but it's brilliant.

  • @markblaauw4961

Your best reaction till now, I think. Those are dark lyrics indeed. I think the song itself has to grow on me. But then again, that's only good news, because when a song directly fits me I usually get bored after a while. The music of Jinjer never disappoints me so far. There's always something new you can discover. So many tempo changes, such nice to discover melody lines. I would like you to introduce a song from The Black Dahlia Murder: Asylum. That track has got very dark lyrics too. It's about people that we forgotten (the mentally ill). I work (as you might know) for and with mentally ill people and can confirm that lots of those people are forgotten by their families and 'friends'. Asylum is a smack in all of our faces. The mixture of the music, the harsh vocals of Trevor Strnad and the lyrics make this one of the best death metal songs I've ever heard. When you decide to play this one please do the lyric video of a guy named 'I'm charming'. He added photographs of people living in institutions. It's a message to us all. As always, keep up the variety and hopefully we see each other in Nijmegen (in the pit😠😈)

Fantastic song and I love your thoughtful reaction. Check out (not to do a video review necessarily, I'm just giving you a heads up) a video titled "Jinjer New Song Durango Mexico" and you'll hear my new favorite Jinjer song, "Teacher, Teacher." The sound quality is sub-par, but the song (and Tati's vox) is absolutely ridiculous. It's a bit more verse/chorus/verse/chorus than Ape and Dreadful Moments. Gorgeous song. Thanks for the awesome review man. Subscribed.

This once felt a bit different from their other stuff... I can't tell if it's mostly due to the lyrics, or something else.
Either way, it sounds pretty wicked though 👍

This one was interesting to watch because I know you like this band. However, it is apparent in your review that you are struggling to say something positive about it. I'm a Jinjer fan too, but this song is just depressing and I don't want to hear it again. The video for this is ridiculous also. I'm very disappointed in Jinjer this time and I hope they don't do a song like this again.

D4md Cykey Popularity doesn’t equal quality. The band wouldn't be receiving this much attention if their vocalist wasn't female.

@@michaelmosely5930 ~ Ah, you're an Incel, nevermind. 'Strong women bad'.
There is a huge number of female vocalists out there and they don't receive the attention of this group, so that cancels out your assertion. This band does because of its high quality. Go back to 4chan, kid.
