How to chop samples on hardware? They might slightly differ from controller, but the concept is the same. Move knobs & buttons rather than the mouse. You can duplicate pads or assign samples to a group or to keyboard mode in the slice window.
Wow… I had no idea 🤷♂️ I could do that. Awesome homie… well done 👍🏾. I’ll try it out with some LOOPERMAN and MASCHINE Expansion Samples, when I get home 🏡. Just found your channel and (SUB’d). Time to look at your other videos. Thanks again brah… 😊
Yes!! More of these kinda tips💯 How about effects and variations for same pattern/sound? Any tips? Is It possible make like pattern 1 no fx and pattern 2 with delay for example...?
That's great. Very helpful as all your videos. I'm still struggling to find out how to do that with samples/loops whose length is less than one bar. For example 1/2 a bar or so 🤔
@@FizzENT That would be cool. I just upgraded to Mk3 and really learned a lot of the handling with a good german tutorial from 2019. But NI's updates obviously changed a bit more than I can follow, especially with the stretching. I guess the workflow might be quite "close" between studio and mk3 !?
Great vid! This definitely makes the stretching easier to understand. How did you get to see the stereo waveforms in your sample window? Whenever I pull in a sample, it only shows one.
Hi Fizz, I think i am missing somthing with the sampler mode single chop drag and drop. When i do it it brings all chops as if i was copypasting the entire channel? is there some setting to grab jus the single chop?
@@FizzENT Thanks for the response, truly, i double checked if i am selecting more then 1 slice. and i am not. In fact i wasnt even able to select multiple slices. just seems like the drag drop is coping the entire channel with all the slices. Is there options in this mode you mave have changed long ago that change the behavior of drag drop? i reallu really really want to do this feature! thanks again great content
Hi FizzENT, at point 2.01 you zoom in with your mouse but I can't seem to be able to do this with my trackball mouse. How are you doing this? or is this a Maschine software version difference? I'm on version 2.15. Anybody having this same issue? Cheers Mr Yeah
I love my maschine mk3 micro but native instruments just don't market their products enough. The workflow is the selling point. I've tried FL studio and Ableton but always come back the Maschine Micro and M32 keyboard which are sooo cheap. What's going on with their marketing 🤔
Thanks for sharing! It's a small community of user really talking about the products. I personally don't get paid to talk about their products from Native instruments, i just love using the software and sharing with others tips and tricks i've learned along the way. Workflow is definitely a selling point

Been using Maschine for years, never knew you could drag and drop slices on a new pad
👍💯
Like your style. Straight up no gimmicks.
Thank you ! 💯
I didn’t know you could drag a slice onto a pad, that’s a nice shortcut! Thanks! 😁
Happy to help! 👍
I don’t think you could have made a better tutorial, I instantly feel more confident and am def gonna try out the sampler more, thank you
Thank you for tuning in ! Glad it was helpful !
Been using machine for years, never new about the drag function till now. Mind blown!
Nice ! Now you know 💯
Yo I really appreciated this one. I never knew you could drag n drop individual chops to another sound bank. Thanks a lot
But how do you do it on the hardware 🙏🏻
No problem!

Yeah I never knew that either, thanks fam!!

Always on point dude. Appreciate ya.
I appreciate that!
Thanks 🔥
💯
Very dope bro
Thank you 🙏
Yes!! More of these kinda tips💯 How about effects and variations for same pattern/sound? Any tips? Is It possible make like pattern 1 no fx and pattern 2 with delay for example...?
Most definitely! I handle variations with fx through the sound/group level. Great topic for future video !
This was nice
Thank you !
Most importantly start off by keeping it simple with chopping.
💯
Nice
Thank you !
That's great. Very helpful as all your videos.
I'm still struggling to find out how to do that with samples/loops whose length is less than one bar. For example 1/2 a bar or so 🤔
Thank you Glad to help! You will have to change the mode to "free" rather than beat
@@FizzENT ooh I see 🤦🏻♂️ thanks for the tip. Keep going! 💪🏼
Very helpful again, thanks!
But could you eventually show how to do all this on the hardware as well ?! :)
Thank you ...🙏
I tend to use software as hardware might be different from user to user, but will consider doing a hardware tutorial for Maschine Studio
@@FizzENT That would be cool. I just upgraded to Mk3 and really learned a lot of the handling with a good german tutorial from 2019. But NI's updates obviously changed a bit more than I can follow, especially with the stretching.

THX BRO
Any time !
real nice sir!
Thank you for tuning in !
Yeah - I made the 420 thumbs up !!! 😎
Great 👍
Great vid! This definitely makes the stretching easier to understand. How did you get to see the stereo waveforms in your sample window? Whenever I pull in a sample, it only shows one.
Glad it was helpful! 3:33 You will notice a 🔗 (rings) far right halfway down the screen. Click it to toggle between mono/stereo - Displays ONLY
This is great, what you did in minutes would have taken me hours on the MPC.
Thank you !
*Yo I've been using the Maschine for 10 years and I had no idea you could drag and drop the sample slices to other sound pads like that. Big respek!*
I appreciate it ! Thank you for tuning in !
Any chance of a clips tutorial?
Yes : ua-cam.com/video/WVUQ1YYmbpk/v-deo.html
Drive slow homie 😎
😎
how do you take a sample and time stretch it and have it stay the same at a higher bpm and not pitch up or playing too fast.
This video explains it here : ua-cam.com/video/uj2wLNhvJ0Y/v-deo.html
860 bpm banger
😅
Get Serato Sample…..done!!
Serato is awesome, i use it too, but this for those who prefer this method
@@FizzENT I use the maschine sampler and its completely different than serato. Serato is a whole lot easier to splice up.
Hi Fizz, I think i am missing somthing with the sampler mode single chop drag and drop. When i do it it brings all chops as if i was copypasting the entire channel? is there some setting to grab jus the single chop?
Hi, sounds like you might have selected them all without knowing. Only select the slice you want to use.
@@FizzENT Thanks for the response, truly, i double checked if i am selecting more then 1 slice. and i am not. btw i have an MK2 is the software different for the MK3?
@@phillypropertypicker it might be depending on what version of Maschine you have

Hi, i pretty sure i used the scroll wheel. It's useful for quick zoom.
When I saw 860bpm I thought we’d be hearing some Dutch house
😅
are you in maschine or on the desktop?
I'm not understanding your question

for the love of fucking god, why can't anyone tell me anything about sampling directly into the mk3?
