- Video I made showing how to install rigid collars on a Hyundai Veloster or Veloster Turbo. Hope the video helps some people out there.
Video on how the collars work. Note- I am in no way affiliated with the video below.

This video helped me alot, thanks! I am shocked at the difference in the front end. The front end of the car handled bumps harshly since I bought it, jarring impacts went into the steering wheel and cabin. I figured that was just the nature of the car. I heard a lot of people rave about the collars, so I gave them a try. I only have 26k miles on the car and still have the stock Kumho Solus tires, which everyone says are terrible. To my surprise, with rigid collars installed, the front end harshness has mostly disappeared. It is still very responsive, but has softened and is more controllable overall. Bumpsteer has also improved significantly. The prior weekend, I added a rear torsion bar which definitely improved the rear end and it's skittish behavior. Both these mods have transformed how my vehicle handles and drives. Honestly, I was shocked. I highly recommend the combination of these two mods for about $250, it is a no brainer. Imperfect roads are a joy to drive now, seriously.
Very well done. This is the only video I have found so far on this subject. Much needed. Thank you.
Brilliant Video, Bro... About to tackle this myself and this was exactly what I needed. Many thanks.
Thank you for posting this, I have a 2013 remix edition and am pretty tired of feeling like I'm driving a piece of 2x4 lol
66reggy66 what exactly does this do?
So the collar goes on that first nut/bolt you showed, then the red one and then another one on the one directly behind it and then the rusty one has nothing. But then you said tighten up the other two? Like the other two which includes one that you put a collar on? I'm a bit confused, please help, thanks!
i could have sworn that you put the jack between the two notches; that is where the pinch rail is reinforced the most...ahead of the first notch does not have as much reinforcement as between the notches...I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that is what the manual says...are the sub-frame bolts one time use? should I get now sub-frame bolts due to the factory bolts being stretched from their initial install?
Can you please show where the rear ones go??????????????
make a noticeable difference ?
I'm still wondering as well
I wish someone had make a installation video for à Chevy Spark 2016+, because I have these rigid collar.
man you need to show the end result when you put all of them on. Is there any difference?
Love the car, but I noticed you have a black one. Be careful with it, the paint is crap and chips very easily.
lmao at your anticipation of the AT hater comments
