So sad no company saw his unique voice and gave him a chance. His singing style is so unique, he makes like an eerie version of each song.

He actually sounds a lot like Matthew Bellamy. Eerie/Dramatic is a big Muse trait. I still love this guy, but I wouldn't at all be surprised if he took some inspiration from Muse.

Curious that no company has signed him, yes. But his singing style is not 100% unique. He sounds a lot like the singer from The Muse. The parallels are very obvious. I liked The Muse, but they were so niche back in the day that I wonder if their legacy is holding him back a bit.
Yeah that's the problem, I think. When you're sitting in the audience and experience it live it's probably amazing even if you're not into this kind of music but the main stream audience at home wouldn't dig it, I believe. Record companies will think the same.

This guy is a phenomenal singer. There is emotion behind every note. There are little nuances as he changes from his chest register to his gut. I absolutely love this artist. A great cover; this performances is hauntingly beautiful.

Wonder T What I is talking about is Lee made this song HIS. His arrangement was completely and utterly fantastic. Nobody can top George Michael's original (arrangement and vocal). That said, Lee's arrangement is both inspiring (haunting, mystical and beautiful) and more importantly, his.
J Hayes But its not his song to re-arrange and tamper with. I hate covers for this reason. An artist has released a song sounding how they want it to sound because they wrote it. It's their song. Then someone comes around and totally dismantles it. But that's my opinion and I am entitled to it like you are J Hayes. :)

It's 7 years later and youtube suggested this video to me randomly. I instantly went going to see if I could buy his music.... NOBODY SIGNED THIS GUY? I've spent my entire morning trying to find music from this guy and cannot find it. I'm making posts about how INSANE it is that he's now making music right now. This guy is a natural born artist. You can't even describe him as a rough diamond because he is a finished diamond. There's nothing to add, nothing to change, nothing else you can ask him to improve. He's got a unique voice (mysterious, eerie, nostalgic, melancholic, full of emotion and passion); he's got taste for clothes; unique and expressive body language; good looks; and above all he can create! he's songs are different from anything else on the market. It's not just a tremendous sadness that he doesn't have an album on the shelves of any music shop, it's an outright sin. This is the 21st century. A singer of this level should be selling albums a long time ago. Couldn't any of those fancy judges full of cash not invest in him? If I was one of them I would resign from the position of judge the moment Lee Glasson was taken out of the competition and I would promote him myself. You've got to be a total idiot or a very envious/jealous pop star not to support this artist.

I loved it. Massive George Michael fan here and I HATE when people try and cover his songs because they usually end up sounding like shit compared to George, but Lee completely changed the song and made it his own, I can't give a better compliment than that really.

Its been 3 years and I'm back again. I seriously cannot find any other artists that makes songs similar to him except for muse. He has something so special. I think its a perfect time for him to start his music career if he's still serious. Music runs so freely now through the internet, he has a good chance of making it bc artists aren't so dependent on music companies making them heard. At least now compared to before.

A prime example of why sometimes talent isn't enough. This guy had so much, yet no record label gave him a chance. He's now working back in his old job, while musicians with a fraction of his ability are touring around the world.

this was pure talent, the way he interprets the song is awesome, i ve never seen anyone doing what he did with this classic, amazing, plus the way he gets into the song when he sings makes him sing not only with his mouth but with all his body, those moves and gestures are what transmit emotion and make people really feel the song.

I am not sure about the structure of the show and why on earth this guy isn't in the public eye creating his own music. He has an incredible voice and from what I can tell would be followed by people around the world. Come on Lee, do what you were born to do and sing. I'm so glad Kylie chose him to the live shows, I honestly wasn't expecting. This guy is a rare gem in the world of talent shows, one of the most talented and original artists around. I love his unique, emotional, indie-influenced style. Sometimes his voice even reminds me Thom Yorke's. This version is pure art, amazing.

Здесь не только голос, здесь очень интересное/вкусное перерождение музыки прежде всего, а на такое в принципе способны единицы композиторов. Фактически, он отработал не как певец, а как гениальный композитор - далее отработав свою версию голосом. И это гениально. Сразу вспоминается Макс Рихтер по схожему атмосферному перерождению музыки, просто обожаю его версию Вивальди, до мурашек пробирает и в космос улетаешь.
