Great instructional series. Takes Alan Dawson’s/Ted Reed’s ideas a step (and more) further. Bruce, you are THE best teacher/instructor I’ve seen on UA-cam. Now that $7 book I bought roughly 6 years ago will get even more use in the coming months. Thanks!

This is a phenomenal lesson series with a top-notch teacher. Mr. Becker is a drummer and teacher extraordinaire. Just observing flawless and swinging technique, a flow of his sticks and hands is a lesson in itself. Private teachers in NYC, Jersey and Philly area for this type of lesson are charging $250 per hour. There you go, how much money we all saved here? For non-English speakers, please guys, make an effort, it is not that complicated (complicado).

You missed out the swingiest rock drummer of all... Bill Ward of Black Sabbath!
Just thought I'd mention it since Sabbath played their 'final' (allegedly) gig a few days ago. Without Ward. At least give him a mention alongside Mitch Mitchell and Jon Bonham ;-)

      yaeah... bill swings like hell

I never quite understood why Bill Ward's name is hardly mentioned. All I see and hear is Bonham, Bonham, Bonham everywhere. I've gotten a lot more out of Ward's playing than John Bonham. I love Bonham, but those who ignore Ward are missing out on quite a bit. Thanks for your comment.

Would love to see some advanced level lessons in your educational videos. 99% of instructional drumming videos on youtube seem to be aimed at beginner/intermediates. There are a ton of difficult concepts and applications that could make some great lessons with the many great teachers you have on your books?

Stay tuned... the series gets much more involved and difficult as Bruce moves through the concepts.

Der Rögu Definitely NOT 2002. 2002 are very bright and harsh. These are Paiste Signature Traditionals

I can't keep my right hand on the swing pattern. It wants to mimic my left hand. Ill keep trying.
