Generations Rattrap was to scale with Waspinator, Rhinox and Masterpiece Optimus Primal and Cheetor. His rat mode is to scale to his robot mode. Not actual scale to real rat. Remember Waspinator was a bigger than normal wasp.
I feel like the perfect height for Rattrap is somewhere between the new core class figure and the older generations figure. Hasbro was SO close to getting him perfect each time.
This Rattap does do somethings I like, but one thing I hate. His robot mode wasn’t that small. After som checking he should come up to just under Cheetor’s head, I only have that Kingdom figure at the moment. The core class is way too small. If he’d been a small deluxe, it be an easier decision to buy. I know the Thrilling 30 is too big, but to me the robot mode is closer scale. I still might buy, I just wasn’t sold enough to preorder.

I love the generations one, the kingdom one sucks compared to it with the shoulder problem, big feet, weird shiny mouse mode, etc. The generations one had great weapons storage, dope rat mode with ability to stand, articulated tail, great light piping, etc. I don’t care about the scale, I care about the quality.
