Oh girl, you HAVE HAVE HAVE to try the 'Marron' candle by Jovoy. It smells like a comforting pan of hot milk in the stove with chestnut puree and sugar. No spices that take it towards the 'Lune Feline' category-- no cardamom, NO ALMOND, nutmeg, cinnamon or clove. Just roast chestnut puree, sugar dissolved into vanilla milk heating up on the stove. Try it this winter and you'll surely be as addicted as I am to it. It burns beautifully and evenly with no annoying tunnelling in the wax and when you blow it out, instead of giving you that gross phenolic burnt smell it gives you a last puff of the fragrance to say goodnight. The best!😍 I'm hunting for a fragrance that smells exactly like it and found nothing. I've tried Remember Me by Jovoy as it's kind of in the same ball park but there's a raspy top and heart that destroys the sugared creaminess at the base and by the time I get to the final dry down, my reward is a really insipid skin scent. Not what I'm after. The hunt continues! 😄
Finally! Someone giving Jeroboam's 'Insulo' some love! I find most of the 'burnt toffee/mollasses/burnt sugar' fragrances really unappealing but Insulo is done perfectly! It smells like an old tin that used to contain Christmas chocolates, a mixture of caramel, liquorice and chocolate. Gorgeous. There's nothing like it. Thanks for featuring it!
Bleu Turquoise is beautiful but it's salty as you've said! I tried Contre Moi and it smells very good but isn't for everyone...Fab picks as expected you never disappoint with your choices, Tfs beautiful ❤
Do you find Cuir lasts or no? I’ve only had a sample and love it but can’t overspray with a small amount. It didn’t last on me so I’m scared to pull the trigger on it but I love it

Unfortunately they remind you of something you probably have in your collection BUT there is one that was better than the niche version: I bought 3 bottles Bois d Iris because Dior totally messed up Bois d Argent. Amber Nuit! And 😊it has cream and body wash!

I got a sample of Tresor la nuit a la folie from another video you posted. It smelled at first like a vanillic version of Valentino Voce Viva. As the spice dried, the vanilla came out. After a while though, the vanilla became lik synthetic flavoring mixed with a little playdoh! I want to be more into vanilla scents without an obvious gourmand/ food vibe, but that wasn't a good introduction! 😂
Would love your opinion on Byredo Vanille Antique and Amouage Vanilla Barka Attar. Both gorgeous Vanillas but my heart will always belong to Tom Ford Vanille Fatale ❤

Both lovely scents. Bleu isn’t a sweet vanilla though many people expect it to be for some reason. Definitely one to try before you buy.

Hi Angela! I found the musk to be too strong in the Vanille Antique dry down. I have not tried any of the Amouage Attars yet
