Congratulations to Russia on a successful launch! What is “struggling” about Russia’s space programme? Success on the third attempt in 3 days is major. Better than one failure and delay after another for costly technological programmes.

Unfortunately the Challenger spacecraft did not give any warnings and didn’t automatically shut down before launch thereby causing the destruction of the spacecraft and taking the lives of 8 invaluable astronauts with it.

Soviet designs were Russian designs. Soviet Union was a Russian empire. Besides Vostochny, there’s Plesetsk cosmodrome from where Angara was already previously launched in 2014.

We keep saying all the time that Russia and India are time-tested friends but when it comes to practicality, we don't really see that on application. I can give you an example: The whole world can see today that what the US & europe is doing against Russia. They are waging a proxy war just to destroy Russia. Everybody perfectly understands this. But India failed to openly condemn such vicious acts of the west. Forget about condemning, India did not even said for once that weapons aid would only escalate the conflict. Moreover, it invites Zelensky and his ministers, shakes hand and hold discussions. What the hell is this? If even at this stage India can't pick a side then what is India waiting for? Are western countries hesitant to pick sides? They openly support Ukraine but when someone does the same with Russia they threaten them with sanctions. And India simply bought their threats and bowed down. India did not have the courage to take the side of a country who it considers it's "time-tested friend". Ok. We can't support our friend if it is doing anything wrong. But is Russia doing something wrong? Right after the terrorist attack in Moscow, India invited Ukraine's fm for discussions despite of the fact that there were clear signs of Ukraine and west's involvement in that horrific incident. Now how can you say "we are with Russia always" ???

Project actually started in 2006, by order of South Korea, when they asked Russia in help to develop first stage for own rocket. In 2009 work was finished and Korean rocket launched. After that Russia decide to finish rocket for self as future replacement for Proton (it is denied from 2025 because use toxic fuel).
In 1990s it existed two different projects of different rockets which were canceled on early stages before of development. They all had name Angara and have nothing common with this rocket.

Afte post soviet era, Russia successfully developed its own rocket called Angara to replace Soyuz and Proton heavy launch vehicles. Interestingly this launch vehicle has a special satellite that will give laser commercial advisements for few cities in space.

Why Russia needs space station?😂😂
Russia invented space stations… new one will be 9th Russian station and planned as
1) repair & refill station for satellites
2) middle station between Earth and future international Moon base which Russia and China developing together.
3) for scientific purposes. As example on last two Russian space stations Russia for 20 years developed and finally finished cool system for powerful nuclear reactors. Regards to this now Russia developing nuclear tug which can fly fast and do it for years, so it opens road for colonization of Solar system. It impossibly to do with classical chemical engines, only with plasm/ion which need powerful nuclear reactor. Few years ago Russia successfully tested 1MWh reactor. Incredible power.
