    very good content and presentation. i wonder for how long have you rehearsed/shot this. one thing only, i would probably switch the order of the tips - first set my principles, rethink anxiety, go to events and there be charismatic _and_ create value for others. seems more chronological and less chaotic this way :)

    • @joelr5840
      @joelr5840  Рік тому

      Hey JJ, I've been thinking about this comment for a few days now, and really appreciate the thoughtful comment.
      My preferred format for videos is: 1. intro, 2. the psychological obstacle, 3. tips. But I was worried that the psychological challenge components were too slow, and for that reason I should go right into a concrete tip (i.e. go to recurring events).
      Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to revert back to the original format because to your point, it chronologically makes more sense and truthfully it is just more interesting of a video for me to research and create.
      Many thanks!
      -Joel

    So Insightful !
    Joel i sometimes get stuck in uncertainty which leads to inaction so i want to know how ultra successful people always stay inspired & manage time with energy ? What's the best book on spending our time wisely especially in late 20s to achieve success in career with a full time job but still managing our solopreneurs ambitions of being independent..

    • @joelr5840
      @joelr5840  Рік тому +2

      Hey Mohib, thanks for the question. I know the challenges all too well!
      It is important to distinguish between motivation and discipline. As many have shared before, "motivation is what gets you started but discipline is what keeps you going."
      Re: Solopreneur: I would always advise finding a business partner to help you. Most companies that get investor funding and then go on to be successful are started by teams of 2+. Y Combinator has a few good blog posts on this. Cofounders can have complementary skills and you can keep each other motivated when times get hard.
      With regard to spending time wisely: Atomic Habits is probably the best I have read on using your time well.
