I like the coffs idea. Shauno hasn’t really got to beat commando. He drove it in sooty but he has yet to do it in the 30. His first 2 attempts in the were no goes then he cheated and brought the 80 lol. So for him to truly beat it then he needs to drive it in the 30.
Harley and Steph are adorable, keep them on future trips; they represent most of us "normal" offroaders, and it's cool to see the confidence progression as they keep overcoming new obstacles
This series has been outstanding. I'm only half way through this one and going to say it's my favorite so far. I'm from the US and have been watching 4WD24/7 for a few years now and I love seeing these places normally not featured in your other videos.
@@4WD247 Those woods. Some of my favorite episodes are in Victoria but those trees were on a whole other level. And the story of Graham's father's camera was just great.
Absolutely magnificent. Love to see Graham get sentimental about our big forests. Those peppy trees look like snow when in flower - love our south west.
I am loving Off Grid! Keep it coming, Graham! Graham inspired my interest in 4x4s, overlanding and remote touring, all together! I live in western Canada and have been on a trans-Namibian expedition to Botswana and back, and I have been to Australia twice! I love you guys forever for inspiring my husband and I to start living this awesome overland life!
Awesome series. Hope to see Steph and Harley continue on the offgrid journey for this channel. Loving the mix of hard tracks vs touring tracks on here with Jocko leading the hard way = something for everyone on the big island. Still want to see a series of all the old girls/rigs heading out on the traditional tracks of the past.
Loved it. Always great to see you doing this style of content Graham. I remember that story of your Dad's camera from your AuSolo video as well, great story. It is so refreshing to see the Mechanic Sympathy being used rather than the full send and break stuff attitude.
Wow, great to see my old stomping ground on here. Many a blustery, no fish weekend spent down on the Warren Beach in years gone by, and have to admit never got stuck on Calcup. The Brunswick V8 89 GQ, 2nd low and tyres 10 front 12 rear was the formula for me....I do miss those days dearly, there, and Fish Creek....Hope Steph and Harley enjoyed the experience....Keep up the good work Graham....Cheers
Wow I remember the camera bag story from OS Solo! So thats the place! 30 years later! That's one hell of an epic story! And to the honestly of that bloke Ian getting in touch and returning it 🍻👌👌👍
Steph & Harley dodged a bullet there. Lucky the breakdown was a consumable item, and not the engine. Still loving this "off grid" series. Keep 'em up. ♥
Graham, this new series is awesome. Love the touring aspect, as much as the more serious off-roading. You guys have an amazing country, hoping to come do a tour in the next year. Keep up the great work!
There is something so very special about big old trees. We have majestic, and Spanish oak trees in southeast North Carolina, they are magical to say the least.
Hi guys i put the flesh part first onto a hot plate to sear and then do what you did it locks all the juices in and none escape leaving all the flavours inside and keeping it juicy as . Its exactly what you do for steak,Cray,Shanks,Chuck everything. Any other way dries out.
Calcup is a weapon of a hill. Hit it many times growing up in the Southwest. Now residents in nth qld I took the family back there in our ranger a fee years back and my missus was wtf we ain't getting up there. After 2 attempts, 8psi and it got up.
The next addition to the y62- a supercharger, a BIG one 👌 Loving this little adventure you’ve gone on, and Steph & Harley are absolute naturals behind the camera, please don’t let them go 4WD 24/7!!
So thrilled to see you tackling this part of the world. I grew up here too, I smashed this track many times with my family straight out the gate in the back block. My Dad was part of the crew that laid sleepers down for a good part of it, right up to the dunes in the 60's. Great memories and so many tales. Good luck and safe travels from the Hawke family.
Had a holiday home in a town called Quinninup nearby for 18 yrs and have conquered Calcup hill in a Daihatsu feroza, 85 hilux 2010 pajero and most recent a 2016 Triton and I will say sometimes with ease sometimes with blood, sweat, tears, swearing and wishing I had stayed home on one certain 39 degree day.Your off grid series in this part of the world has brought back all of those memories and I thank you for that.
Thank you so much for making these videos. It has been so inspiring for me and my family to "just get out there" and explore this wonderful country. I'm a big fan of the Off Grid series too - love watching both, but this has to be my favourite.
Good series. Y62, well I currently have Toyota's, but I'm not biased, I love them both for various reasons, and your 62 is about as good as it gets. I'd suggest a supercharger maybe as next mod.
The man, the myth, the LEGEND😅, so lucky to be able to share in Graham’s wealth of knowledge! Very entertaining, and been in Perth we can’t wait to find these places ourselves 😊
Got a 3 day trip out planned in April in the UK, haven't told the Mrs yet but she's gonna enjoy it. I'm also a trucker and spend 5 days away from home, so the only difference between the truck and the ranger is... My😮beds already made in the truck and it's not in the ranger but everything else is pretty much the same. Nothing better than going to sleep with an amazing view a waking up to one. Love this series

Lived in the area some time ago. Regularly abseiled out of the Bicentennial tree. Often went into Warren beach in an old G60 Nissan patrol, short wheel base and big boots. Up and down with no problems. Recently went up Calcup in my 105 landcruiser. Halfway up was someone stuck at right angles across the track. How he got there I don't know. Hurtled around and kept on going, wasn't going to stop there as other vehicles were following. Would have been one hell of a traffic jam. Got to the top and the landcruiser was boiling like crazy. Almost all the water had blown out of the radiator through a split in the top tank. Let it cool down then a long slow trip to Manjimup (my old home town). Stop every 8 km and top up the radiator again. Had a new radiator delivered from Perth the next morning. Work for a mineral exploration company, so that landcruiser has gone some crazy and remote places.
Great ep and good to see the Colarado wasn't terminal. Between those trees the rigs looked like toys, can see why there is some controversy about the old logging.
Hello Graham, great video again but I have to say. As much as I love 4WD 24/7 & sooty & shaun'o .Graham your show is a 100% better. Martin in Norfolk UK 🇬🇧
this the best content ever, love seeing this stuff, off grid is the best ever, bloody great work. hard wheeling is great as well but this is what us avg folk get up to, love to see more of this with stef and harls, awesome!!!!! PLEASE DO OFF-GRID EAST COST!!!!!
Great place...almost my favourite...could just disappear in that forrest and live of the land if ya thought it out...al.ost time to head down and catch up with the local folk again. And of coarse the annual clean up of the dunes in November.
Those dunes, I've been struggling to remember some specific dunes I went to in WA and those are the very ones. No mistaking that entry point, took me a few attempts myself but what a place to play once I was up. Ace video and once again some great memories coming for me.
I'm obsessed with this channel! You guys have inspired me to get my own fwd and start going on adventures. My little boy will also be tagging along at times too! Thank you gents.
If you can't cross the Warren and can't get up Callcup, the Summertine track is the way out. Love Yeagerup dunes, especially at night. The Warren rivermouth is one of the best places on the south coast. Love that area so much. So glad you dad's camera was found. Amazing story. Photography is a great hobby/profession.
wire a after market headlight buzzer into your canopy doors on a switch, worked well for me. cabin on of switch is also helpful for when you dont need it, if only you could tell seat belt buzzer to shut up.
Love going down there, we own a property in northcliffe we 4wd down there heaps, we hit up heaps of secret tracks in the middle of winter. Tracks flooded with water over the bonnet for kms and kms, love it so much, most intense mud 4wd you will ever see

Yeah it’s hard in the sand with those smaller and aggressive mud tires on just digs instead of floats. That’s hard for any rig with that setup and size tires in bad sand. Utah is very similar. Some old worn down MTs actually helps me more than any new tire on the sand.

One of the fav bits of driving mine, is that sound! No thong slap of so many cruisers. Just proper V8 rumble... Does cost a little to run around town, with all the full throttle to enjoy the noise.
When you guys hit 1 million subs you should all go for a wheel in Coffs and take all your OG cars
For 1 mill they should have shorty and the dirty 30 go for a trip. YUM
That’s a very specific request
Yawal would also be great
