Hello friends! Thank you so much for stopping by and watching the video. Appreciate your support and hope you enjoyed the tour! If you have any recommendations on areas or condos to check out, please let me know. Would love to hear from you 😊
Totally get the TikTok era and shorter attention spans, but there's something special about longer videos like yours that really let us immerse ourselves in the content. Speaking of which, ReesaTeesa's 50 Part TikTok Series "WhoTF Did I Marry" is proof that captivating longer content still has a huge audience! Also, a condo in Ekkamai with a music room sounds like the perfect combo of comfort and creativity. Thanks for sharing such valuable insights! Keep doing you!! Don't change for anyone. 😊
I totally agree with everything you said. Long videos will always have its place and I like them a lot. Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it 😊 Have you ever been to Thailand?
Just recently subscribed…hope to see your channel grow. I’ve been to Thailand a few times and thinking about living & retiring there. Looking forward to seeing more videos and hoping you share your experiences on topics such as relocation, visas, taxes, banking, etc.
Thank you so much for the support! Can't go wrong with retiring here in Thailand. Such an amazing place and quality of life. I definitely plan to share those topics as I go through them for the first time myself. Going to be learning a lot and hopefully help others like yourself navigate them as well. What's your favorite city in Thailand?
Wow, your building is really nice! I prefer this one over the other one! Love the meeting, work, and lounge spaces. Don't need to get an extra WeWork like space, and still get access to your home. Interesting that the washer is outside. Do you see any downsides to that? I think it's a smart play. Podcast recording room, infinity pool, outside areas - all gorgeous. WITH A VIEW LIKE THAT, I CAN LEARN TO LOVE YOGA LOL
This one is definitely a lot newer than the other one and I prefer it over the other as well! Lots of zen areas where you can just chill. Best part is there's free Wifi in the common areas so you can have all the meetings you desire. No downsides to the washer being outside really... Just that you're in the heat while putting clothes in there LOL... This is pretty common for condos in Thailand. You'll also see a configuration where it's under the kitchen cabinets. I can't say I'm on that same boat with you and yoga regardless how nice the view is hahaha. Have you been to Bangkok?
I happy to find your vids here, really enjoyed the content as I will visit soon for three weeks for Xmas and NY from KL just relocated back from Long Beach CA..wish we could meet up for coffee chat if possible..Regards: Mike
Thanks for this very interesting video, Davion! This condo looks great, just 7 minutes walk from Ekkamai BTS station. IMHO, to make your video truly informative and attract more followers, it would be useful to specify the environment of the condo, what it looks like, what are the distances to travel, the dining options around... If I may allow myself a second piece of advice, avoid moving the camera too quickly when you pan, it makes you dizzy. You have a new subscriber!
Thank you for watching! I haven't encounter any condo that has overnight pool yet. Most of the ones I seen are closed at 10 or 11pm... I'm sure it's for safety reasons.
For this one, I actually used Airbnb because I haven’t decided where I want to be long term yet. Still scoping out different areas. There are many Facebook groups that have listings you can look at or if you know the condo’s name, you can search Google and it’ll pop up websites that have places for rent
How do you do to be able to stay in a condo only for 1 month, i'am actually looking for a place to come and stay in Bangkok but all the condos I found are all with a 12 months rent policy ? BTW Super video, thank you to give us some tips, keep going !!
If only for one month, AirBNB is your best option. Sometimes in Facebook groups, there are owners that are willing to rent for a month as well. Just have to ask around, but AirBNB is the easiest though you do pay a little more. Glad you found the video helpful! Thanks for watching
Hi Davion! That's an awesome condominium complex!! I'd definitely stay there for a year for only $450 per month. All the amenities make it well worth it. For me, having a washer in the unit is a must! I sweat a lot in hot weather so I wash my clothes quite often. Was your unit advertised as a one-bedroom or a studio? Some studio condos are incorrectly advertised as one-bedroom because it has a glass enclosure, not a completely separate room.
What's up Kevin! I actually booked this through Airbnb so I paid like triple the price LOL... but it's still affordable relative to the USD.. Reason why I did airbnb at the moment is because I haven't decided where I want to be set for 1 year lease yet, but soon will find my area. When I looked this up, it was advertise as a 1 bedroom. You're right though, a lot of listings are incorrectly labeled so you'll have to be really looking at the photos to tell the difference. When I'm ready to get my long term spot, it'll definitely be a correct 1 bedroom. Which areas of BK are your favorites?
Hi Desiree, you'll have to look at platforms like Airbnb for one month rentals, but it will be higher priced. I rented this off airbnb. The rates I'm speaking about in the videos are for 1 year long term rentals.
The area is great! Next to thonglor so lots of things to do while still being quiet. All the things you need like super market, BTS, and restaurants are around. What areas do you like?
What is your experience in Bangkok or other major cities in Thailand with regards to the ability to communicate as a foreigner who speaks English only? Some other youtubers have said it's hard to communicate if you only speak English or do not speak Thai. Will you have major issues with regards to this?
The major cities and main areas are pretty easy to navigate. I don't know much Thai at all at the moment. Just basic words and I've been coming to Thailand for the past 10 years. Definitely try to learn some basics as it'll help, but for the most part I haven't had any troubles. There's also google translate to help as well. The further you go away from the main areas, the less english there is.
Thailand has too many new empty buildings, But they won't stop building more. the real estate laws and the bar women can cost you evey last $ you have.
They definitely have a lot of empty buildings. Real estate laws only affect you if you buy. Better to rent. Also you do realize that there’s way more to Thailand than just bar women right?
@@DavionTravel + Yes there is great deal more in Thailand But I was talking to the Farang because too many of them who come there to retire and lost everything they had.
I want your channel to grow more. Heres some unsolicited advice 😅 tiktok era now, very long videos are not advisable anymore specialy if your content is just like with so many other channels. Tiktok era means, go straight to the point. Show the actual condo, talk behind cam and show the condo, decent script. No unnecessary opinions 😊 attention span of most people are short now coz of tiktok. 15 mins a day using youtube is a lot of precious time.😢 I admit to using x2 play speed and doing skips in your vids. That might mess up with your video views, sorry ❤ sorry if i come out strong or rude 🙏🏼
Thanks for the feedback and support! Not strong or rude at all. Appreciate it. Yes definitely short form videos are popular and I will get into them soon. For YT, I have to focus on long videos for right now because it's better for the long term. Once it starts getting bigger, then short form is coming :)
Well, you wouldn't have me following with a tik-tok like video. I definitely like a slower pace, though I have to admit, Davlon, that yuu could have edited a little more the video and cut unnecessary moments.

Yes there’s actually several good gyms in the area.

It's about a 10 minute walk. Not far at all. What are some of your favorite areas to be in?
ur definitly not getting these prices on airbnb. how are you getting that rate? long term rental? facebook?
Definitely not Airbnb pricing. The rates I mentioned are long term yearly rental. Mentioned those because I’m looking to stay long term
Can't see a 45" monitor fitting into a Smart Locker. Or realistically, almost any of the packages I receive from Amazon
That's why they drop off at the receiving area or your door steps
