I would very much like it if you subscribed for my somewhat funny sports videos.
Please do this for every sport. Not just the popular ones, I need the complete history of racquetball.
Easy, a guy wanted to play ping pong but didn't have any friends, so hello wall, and the rest is history. 😅😅
for me in france isn't popular :p
Racket ball? No we need a deep dive into Pickle ball.
Yes! This! SO MUCH This!
@@hommie789 “no matter how good I get at tennis, I’ll never be as good as a wall”
As a history teacher in Tennessee, let me say “Bravo”, sir. This was perfect!
PLEASE SHOW THIS TO YOUR CLASS
@@FivePointsVids I really should. Sounds like extra credit to me! I also wanted to say that a couple months back, when you pasted Josh McDaniels face on Cobra Commander’s mutated snake body, I lost my damn mind. I’ve seen the G.I. Joe movie more than I probably should have, and MAN that got me! 😂
I like this interaction
W.E. White played collegiate ball at Brown and went pro in 1879.
History erased for an agenda?
Finally, a true successor to Ken Burns Baseball.
I was hoping for a baseball version of a Bill Wurtz video, but this was also thoroughly enjoyable!
That's literally the only reason I clicked on the video. Still love Five Points videos but that was a tease lol.
How bout I do anyway?

Your videos are seriously amazing bro. I’ve seen every single one for 2 years and i just can’t get over the comfort i feel watching your stuff
A lot of history in 13:05 minutes. Great Job. It took Ken Burns 15 hours to do this
Ol’ Kenny B doesn’t even have cussing. Fkn noob.
Ken Burns DID come out with his version in 1994.
@@michaeldavisnj88 he should have know Barry “Muthafuckin’” Bonds was bout to be the GOAT. (I’m a Dodger’s fan).
18.5 hours and currently working on more content
This is possibly the best video you've ever made, please do more
The most eloquently well put history of any sport! I loved it! Dare I say you have a mini series coming for all major sports like this?
I’d love a football one more than I loved this one
I think "Let's move the A's to Vegas!" went missing from this video...
Keep up the grind my good sir. I can’t put into words how enjoyable I find your videos.
🫶
I absolutely loved this video! What makes it even better is that Alexander Cartwright is one of my ancestors. It’s a weird little fact about my family my grandfather told me about 😅
Curt Flood actually lost his lawsuit. Free agency happened when Dave McNally and Andy Messersmith found and exploited a loophole in the reserve clause.
And Curt Flood would be subsequently traded to the Phillies in a multi-player deal which Flood refused. (The 1970 Phils finished 73-88, fifth in NL East, and played their home games in their final season at dilapidated Connie Mack stadium.)
Your deadpan delivery of your rapid fire jokes are GOLD. Sir, I THOROUGHLY thank you.
Love the format, it’s a refreshing take.
I’m definitely suprised a video of this magnitude is only covered in 13 minutes
The quick summary portions of wars had me lol
The pitch clock is probably my favorite rule change in baseball history.
Manny Machado would like a word.
The "I think Baseball should be for everyone" joke is really well-played. Classic triple-beat comedy.
I don't know what this says about my experience watching videos on UA-cam....but definitely one of the best and most entertaining videos I've seen. Please 🙏🏽 more, on anything.
I missed watching baseball in the 80s and 90s. Back when I was a kid, amazing times. Playing sandlot ball
This was great! I give it 5/7 prefect score
That's a good score from the prefect, but was does the praetor give it?
Ok, that title/thumbnail combo MUST win some award lol
The heck was that, Astrodome was opened in 65, Flood lost his case and cost him his career, but was able to get Miller to get FA status to players in 75
You don’t know how happy I am with this video! I’m English and every time I explain that baseball comes from rounders and American football comes from Rugby no one believes me 😫😂
That ending coupled with the fact that the A's are 99% heading to Vegas ☕🗿
This is beautiful (can't wait for the history of curling next)
This video nails the history of Baseball, warts and all. As a fan of the sport, I laughed my butt off.
Great video! I'd love to see video in this style, but for basketball, football, and hockey!
We need a video on Fritz Pollard. Dude was the Jackie Robinson of football before Jackie Robinson was even born. He was an absolute legend
I don't even like baseball but I found this video very informative and entertaining
What did Jonathan Villar do to you to warrant this thumbnail?
The big fat man hitting baseball= more money had me dying 😂😂
love this video fives history in sports is so rich
You forgot the part where the Japanese started playing and decided "let's be better than the Americans at it."
The fake at 5:02 is top tier
Meanwhile the A’s are officially settling for Vegas.
I hope TB move to TB.
Out of all the home run footage that exists, you chose Bartolo Colon's and i respect that.
"the 80s were weired as F**k"
*Looks at events post 2020*
Im sure MANY want to go back to the 80s.
80s ,music interlude and rail shots was just magic
Love how at 3:57 the guy you chose to represent the homerun is...Bartolo Colón?? LOL
MLB is "finally" fixing the issue of declining viewership by -getting rid of blackout restrictions- adding a pitch clock and banning the infield shift
"Big fat man hit ball far" is probably the best way to describe home runs starting to take form
How long this must have taken you is ridiculous. Let the Wurtz be with you good sir. So good.
i kinda love where baseball is now. the chaos makes it interesting
lol the Mets part had me dying 🤣
LFG YANKEES 🔥
Okay wtf is that absolute MEATBALL served up to Bonds at 11:00 that's ridiculous lol
FivePointsVids always make my day! 🙏🏽💊🐇
Wkuk meme. Top notch. Rip Trevor.
The finest local sexpot. RIP indeed
I'd love to see the hour long version with more Manfred roasting.
At the opening I about laughed at the touch grass but also was thinking "Why is baseball?"
Thank you for all your content!
First game of baseball was played in New Jersey
Happy 420 FivePointsVids
Some of the most graphic on screen drug usage I have seen. Nice, FivePoints.
Thank you for that weed joke on 4/20
This video was so hilarious I loved it
The Naked Gun is truly an important piece of baseball history.
“Only one thing could save baseball. And that…was drugs”
Throw away titles like this will always be hilarious
2:59 love that show, RIP Trevor
If Ken Burns had only seen this first, he probably wouldn’t have wasted his time producing his epic 18.5 hour long special.
The fk you’ll pay us less.
The fk we’ll pay you more.
😂😂😂
from a Phillies fan perspective, you Mets fans have had a joy-ride, so suck it, lol. I was literally in the stands at Camden Yards (Red Sox-Orioles game) in a rain delay, the night they called the strike in '94. It was like 9:30pm or so, during the rain delay & the announcer came on & said the game was cancelled due to the players strike. We were able to redeem the tickets the next season (saw the Mariners play the O's).
Dysentery: America’s old pastime
I was really not expecting a WKUK reference. Very nice five stars
Baseball ended with the man on second in extra innings. Sorry Charlie, it's not baseball anymore.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
This reminds me of Drunk History😂
This just may be Five's magnum opus. Well done.
Absolutely love this. Though it would have been nice to show Rafael Palmeiro a little more. He truly was the “finger” of the steroids era. 😊😊
We all knew Five was a stadium guru. But a sports historian? Now we’re talking!
WKYK clip is classic. Thanks.
This was a great, funny video
This was very funny. Thank you!
Checked the time stamp and saw some kind of joke coming...
Very wrong.
A damn near masterpiece of editing.
The rich white guy laugh track made it.
That expos joke hurt… not gonna lie😢
Fully anticipated a Bill Wurtz style history lesson of baseball lmao
I will not accept the lack of “Home Run” Baker love!
10:36 The Steroid Era was the Attitude Era for baseball.
This is fucking incredible.
"GO YANKEES, OH YEAH!" *said in a bill wurtz-esque voice*
(RIP Chris Farley)
I love it! Funny and factual!
I thought you were gonna say _"why..._ is baseball..."
Very educational while driving to work in the pouring rain.
0:09 "Is baseball even real? Yes." Ummm, @BaseballDoesntExist might have something to say to that.
Five is going for the viral approach I see
Turkey and gravy with cranberry.
Can’t believe the Mets traded Daryl Strawberry.
That is your best video yet!
Definitely better and more accurate than the Ken Burns documentary.
This was very entertaining lol i mean some facts were wrong like curt flood didnt actually win the lawsuit for example but u had me rollin the whole time
I think that was the best intro I've ever seen
that intro was fire
This is the only history of baseball I accept personally.
Hey points 👉, Back to 1983 4 major sports leagues champions not ever winning another trophy. I blame it on the Thriller album. It was No. 1 on Billboard top album chart for 37 straight weeks. Which covered every championship game played during Thrillers chart topping run. From late spring1983 until early spring 1984 no champion has won again. Great story 🤓
this video is so good I need to show this to my teacher
This intro is literally the intro to an Internet Historian "Incognito Mode" vid. 😆
LOL! this is so spot on.
Why did i expect this to be an hour
No, BaseballDoesNotExist
First sports youtuber to at least somewhat recognize black history
