@@sherrygeorge8613 I miss growing up in the 1980s. I really show my age when I got most of those toys in the ads. Two favorite things for Santa to bring were the She-ra castle and the Nintendo NES system, although when the Nintendo came was funny. My brother asked for the Nintendo from Santa. I was at the age where Santa was Mom and Dad. But December 22nd, my brother was playing on the couch in our parents' living room, when he accidentally found the Nintendo behind the couch. My brother couldn't figure out how Santa came 3 days before Christmas. He was 5 at the time. Now he's 40.
Christmas was such a wonderful time. Family, LIGHTS, TREES, and toys...lol. The JCPenneys and Sears Christmas Catalogs were a MUST HAVE. Sitting in my room looking at all the toys and games. It was a JOYOUS TIME. SO SIMPLE. Thank you for these. In a time now when we are afraid to even go outside, this at least gives me some warmth in my heart. Thanks again.
Yeah I used to LOVE looking through those catalogs, that and the one for Toys R Us, making out my Christmas list...those were simpler times for sure :3
Yeah the sears wish book !! And j c penny's wasn't far behind , but sears had the best stuff . in fact my best suit came from a sears mail order catalog .
Waching these wonder Christmas, commercial s makes me feel like a young kid again. Watching snow falling beautiful decorated 🎄 tree Christmas 🎵 music playing . i wish Christmas commercials could be magical again.
This was so nice to watch! *Thank You* so much for all your hard work. I do wish we still had telephones ☎️ in the house that plugged into the wall, and that restaurants still offered keepsake items (like drinking glasses) to collect and remember by. The KFC food looked and tasted so much better back in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Their commercials were awesome. Even the beer commercials are special. I love the Coca-Cola truck one where the whole town lights up! Santa 🎅🏻 zooming up and down the snow hills on a Norelco shaver is classic. RIP Kmart, Sears, Montgomery Wards and Toys R Us. These are so great, thank you again! ⛄️🍪☕️🎂🥂🍔🎄💍🍕📸
I remember when the Coca-Cola commercials went from "Christmas time is coming" to "Holidays are coming." Such a letdown. And yes, I remember when KFC actually tasted good instead of like overcooked chicken-flavored grease.
Gosh, how we miss Toys R Us, Sears, K-Mart, Kodak, Retro commercials and wholesome television 📺 Thank you for sharing 👍👍 and May your everyday have the Magic of Christmas 🎄
That's the way it was in the '50s too . only one phone in the whole house and it was hardwired into the wall with a cable . had to pay a lot extra for 2 phones . an installer had to come out and install the outlet and change the switching on the pole .
These commercials used to have meaning. Not like nowadays where all you get to see is Big Pharma pushing drugs. I don't ever remember a drug commercial back in the '70's.
My most one is the soldier coming home and waking his family up with coffee. I'd be watching a Christmas movie on TV and that ad would appear during a break. The 1980s was an awesome era to be a child in.
Having a sick day, probably going to spend most of my day watching these Christmas commercials. Being born in '90, a bunch of these hit right in the feels
I was taken back to when my dad and I would do out shopping for my mom less than a week before Christmas. No idea why he'd wait till then, but either way, we still had a great time. Hit up K-Mart for pajamas and kitchen gear, then the mall for the jewelry store for a set of earrings and necklace, then CVS for stocking stuffers (which somehow cost as much as the gifts lol)
25:52 The phone one. When the guy says to his wife ...Honey should of gotten you one for the kitchen. No way would that be said today people would go crazy.

And if he won, he'd bring us McDonald's. And we'd have shakes and fries and burgers and it was delicious. That was long ago and unfortunately their food has took a downward spiral.
Nothing like heart warming nostalgia to make one feel old lol I reckongnize half of these and wish we still could get a Christmas party bucket for 10$ lol anyway thanks for showing these my little ones will love watching them my neices and nephew don't even really know what a comercial is atleast a good one lol happy Thanksgiving and merry Christmas
Cool. If you can make another volume can you do the full version of the 7UP Cool Spot ad with the fire truck? Since you used two shorter versions one with a phone and one with a calendar.
It's on the site, I just checked. There's also a McDonalds one for The Little Mermaid with an underwater McDonalds and one for Toy Story 2 with the army men hiding in a Christmas Tree.

Watching this makes me miss the old days. Everything was so simple.

First commercial- I recognized the giraffes right away and was waiting for Toys R Us to be mentioned.

I miss the hallmark commercials, the ones that told a story
@11:33 Wilford Brimley narrating. I can hear it now, "Christmas...It will help you live a better life!".😂🎄🎅.

I know it’s 2yrs later for a comment but I totally agree..It’s even worse now. Man, did I laugh at that commercial,😂😂.
Love these really in the mood for the holidays, can’t wait

Lots of good Christmas memories. Thanks and Merry Christmas 2020.
These bring back the memories!
Kind of sad in a way to realize that so much of a 90's kid's memories can be summed up by watching an hour of youtube
I was so excited when "A Wish for Wings That Work" came out in '91! I loved Bloom County... still do. Ack! Thhhppt!
This was peak civilization. We've gone downhill since the 1990's
McDonald's used to put effort on their commercials back then.
McDonald's used to have good, real food back then. Especially in the '70's.
And they had collectable glasses and items at the Holidays.

Mcdonald's knows they have a captive audience and don't have to try anymore .
I remember when there wasn't a Mcdonald's .
Hi thanks so much for so many memories and today's ads don't have the same simpleness of these ,please post more ,
I'm working on it! :)

Boy do I wish I could go back to these days and escape all the BS of today!!
The commercial at 43:20 - Mom, Dad, could this be your little girl? When I was a kid, my brother answered, "Um, I don't THINK so." LOL!
Hmmm, is that because you hated Barbie Dolls, or because he was implying that you were adopted? ;)
this is great
LOVE THIS ❤️
The good old days
You did an awesome editing all 5 collections.
Will there be a 6th one later this year?
I always hope to create new volumes. It's tough to find commercials that aren't repeats. But there is always a chance! :)

I apologize for that. For the subsequent volumes I used a different video editor that allowed me to balance the sound.
