I thought i was done before by listening to the other videos by this most intelligent scientific scholar, but this one did it. Im truly done now, you can stick a fork in me. This was so mentally, spiritually and visually clear as to the future if nothing is done like right now, that if Americans cant see the writing on the wall and start to prepare for the worst, then we are truly looking at the dust bin of History.

I think most of it is baked in. We’re several generations removed from sanity. And since most people are getting their morals and ideas from institutions rather than their families, there are very few people who can legitimately pull us back. We don’t have a large population of realists who view the world empirically and make decisions based on reality.
Ukraine support is based on Marvel Comics thinking. Ukraine was invaded and therefore is the good guy. Good guys always win in the movies, therefore they will win. Just ignore the population difference, the weapons, the aging draftees that Ukraine abducts off the streets, and the fact that nuclear war threatens.

It's a sick, evil time we're living in today. Agree 100% from another ordinary UK citizen that's old enough, educated enough and been through enough to recognise the total folly and self destruction of much of "western do-gooders" that can't even recognise terrorists when they are right in their faces. The will bring down western society, the greatest pinnacle of human achievement in history, both technologically and politically, but that "fairness" had lead to its self destruction. We have a small chance to stand up and be counted but somehow I don't have much faith in our ability to change course.

I'd argue that his points are mostly about after the fall of civilization has already been decided many years ago. The underestimating of your opponents, false sense of security, and all the other mistakes tend to be the symptom of the problem rather than the problem.
Even when you cover up all those weaknesses (eg. The Roman republic turning into the roman empire) their fall is still decided at that point. It's just delayed. What truly decides the fall is when the process of correcting flaws and improving what is starts to falter. Either because it has slowed down or because it is corrupted for another purpose. Eventually the common flaws of humanity (arrogance, inertia/laziness, greed, etc.) catch up, even when you cover up those weaknesses with good systems (like the Romans did) slowly but surely they still creep in where those systems are imperfect until eventually it falls.

In the higher ages in India the fall of civilization was blamed in marrying down. That does not mean a person with money and education marrying a person without. It had more to do with the quality of the persons; their lifestyle; their openness to things; and if not having had the chance for a formal education engaging in lifelong learning to compensate. Engaging in lifelong learning is considered praiseworthy whether having had a formal education or not. People of high intellectual status marrying people of low intellectual status whose whole focus is in accumulation of goods or things is what was believed to lower civilization. It is likely true because once the emphasize is on goods rather than on virtue and on learning the civilization is on the ropes.

No mention of the "Nakba" involving the mass displacement and dispossession of Palestinians during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. John Anderson, coming from Australia, would be familiar with his country's longstanding 'terra nullius' doctrine ( 'the land belonged to no one') that ignored Aboriginal settlement, until that fiction was overturned by the High Court in 1992.

I think Mr. Hanson should re-evaluate his position in life. I would think that someone who is a tenured professor that has a net worth of over $5m, probably twice that amount with savings and investment accounts, so let’s say $7.5million, would be very grateful for what he has been afforded in life. I can promise you that he attained most of his wealth in the last 30 years and guess what, we have had 5 terms of Dem Presidents and 3 terms of Rep Presidents. Had things been so bad under Democrats then I don’t think he would be sitting on a $7.5m nest egg and still working at a prestigious university. If the economy had been so bad and Dems were going to ruin America then how could he still be profiting selling his books.
I don’t want to hear anyone with that much money complaining about how Dems are ruining our society while going to bed every night feeling safe and secure in their lavished home, not wanting for food or money and getting up the next morning and driving in their luxury car to lecture students on how anyone is ruining our country.
People like you disgust me because you have forgotten just how good you have had it in life!

They've never officially acknowledged them. In the 1950's France worked with them on the Negev research center in Dimona. It's estimated that in the late 1960's they had nukes. We know that they worked with South Africa in the 1970's with their program, and some believe that were behind a 1979 test that was caught by a supposed decommissioned U.S. satellite over Prince Edward Island.
Estimates of their aresenal widely vary from 65-400 warheads, but as of today nothing is conclusive. Rumors of them deploying the "Samson Option" in a total loss scenario have been around for over 50 years.

China has to go 80 miles plus to invade Tawain. Invading across and ocean is very difficult. The Chinese have to face allies of Vietnam, India, Australia, Phillips, USA and Japan. All China has on her side is North Korea. I don't think China can do it. Plus, the nation's navies of Briton and France, plus Nato allies are considering helping. I think China should just give up on this war. It is in her best interest to back off, but that doesn't mean that is what is going to happen.

John, in many countries 'Law and Order', 'Decency and Civility', 'Morals and Code' matter but not in the West, in fact perversity, debauchery, peadophilia and criminality have become the flag bearers of Western life which is why we are in decline, why we are broke, why we are nihilists, why we are without a compassed True North - choices have consequences!!!

I 2010 i wrote in a comment to a friend that has Phd in Bio Tech from Cal Tech that the world was facing a New Dark.Age where Islam was to be the likely benificary. He responded, "Take a chill pill." Well here we are some 14 years later that VDH is now taking the subject seriously.
Over the years in my commentaries I have repeatedly said that Human Beings are nothing but babarous little monkeys in a tree that have pretensions of being civilized. That the monkey you have to look out for is the one staring down at you from the tree who is smiling at you. For he knows he is a barbarous little monkey and he is sizing you up to be his dinner tonight.
Also i have repeatedly commented that if push comes to shove and Israel is on the verge of extinction that they would use their nuclear arsenal to light up the entire mideast turning it into a glass table top. That is what NEVER AGAIN means. They will not go into that good night complacently.
The collapse of W Civ is nye. The complacency the corruption the greed the hubris and wholesale abandonment of ethics faith and morality have led us to the nadir and eclipse of civilization. This is akin to the mythological end of Alantis where the Alantis Paradigm applies.

It feels like we're all having to work to absolute perfection, because those with 180 billion to their name are still not satisfied and want more. People want change. Big changes.
