Hi Kelly, thanks for taking the extra time to show how things are done. I am glad that I am not alone who takes time on creating things. I need to include all the details especially when it comes to building things to ensure that they work out. I may not comment a lot here, but I sure love your channel and I really love this DIY because it is not just decorative but functional too! Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs~ Josie ⛄😘🤗
I think I would add two more of the wood blocks up on the inside, then glue the rulers to them to hold the trucks together, then the Kleenex boxes could be changed so much easier...love the tutorial, such a cute idea!
exactly! and if desired, just quickly cover several tissue box tops or make a reusable (cardboard) cover -- perhaps held in place with double sided tape. But now you will probably want to save them for next year! Oh NO! More Organizing and Storage.
I do miss the "old" Kelly, not always making sarcastic comments and poking fun at your style and preferences. Watching this old video makes me remember why I started watching your channel. You explained things so sweely and naturally. Your nature is enough -- no need to be flippant. Do love you, Kelly.
I can't believe anyone gave this a thumbs down. What the heck. That truck and I love trucks especially the classics. I have to say this is the cutest Christmas tissue holder I've ever seen. Kelly you nailed it with the plaid cloth and puffy paint. God bless you and take care.
What an awesome diy. Love it. Kelly you are so blessed with this Creative gift you have. I just wanted to say thanking for sharing it with all of. I truly enjoy watching you. Thank you kelly
OMG! Beautiful!!! Wow its sure different from all the ones I've seen!!!👍💯❤🤩my hats off for you Mom RIP on leaving such a beautiful and creative daughter !!!❤🥰
Kelly you just made dollar tree classy! This isn't crafty this is art you are an artist! The way you break it down is quite nice. I've been in the design world for thirty years your Stinking Great Artist!
This is a terrific craft! You are blessed with a creative mind!!! My mom wasn’t real big on decor, just traditional and simple, but golly did we make cookies and such. So I passed this down to my kids and grandkids! We have a cookie-palooza in December!
I absolutely love this DIY! My bathroom is done in winter with pine cones and trees for the winter season and for Christmas last year I added the RED TRUCK to it. This will fit right in...TFS Blessings XOXO
I am so thrilled that I found your youtube channel................. You are amazing and that tissue box truck you made is absolutely adorable!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love these Red Truck Tissue Holders. These are adorable!!! You did a GREAT JOB!!! Thank You, Kelly. God Bless You, Jeff and Your Wonderful Children. 😊👍🏼
Love this! My mom loved decorating for the holidays, she would of loved this DIY. Big huggs from another daughter missing her mom. Have a blessed weekend
Thanks for being brave and caring and sharing about your Mothers...all of you...I’m sadly part of the club as well. I lost my Mum last yr, so 2nd Christmas alone, missing her so badly, just doesn’t feel any less painful so far. Was a hard yr, lost Mum, my youngest daughter, and my best friend from May 6, to Oct.6. Too much too fast. I’m thankful to know there are other ladies that can relate, so I can try to not be too hard on myself and how I’m coping. Thinking healing for you all as well. 💗💕🌸💗🌻
Oh my gosh Kelly, you have one of the best shows on utube!! Your dyi’s are creative and your video filming is professional and how you teach is just perfection. I am a 66 year old quilter grandmother and I too do themed Christmas’s but I never thought of doing a quilting theme! Da..... LOL. Hope to see you do more quilting theme christmas videos. Thanks again young lady, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Great surprise in the end with the outcome, lovely. So stinkin cute!!
Awesome project !!! Your project is the best I have seen so far using these trucks !!!! I miss my Mom also... she has been gone since 1973 and I miss her every day !! Thanks for the tutorial !!!
I love it. Made me think of my grandmother. I wish she was alive so I could make it for her. Maybe I know someone who would enjoy it. I don’t celebrate Christmas but that’s ok. Seeing farm truck s carrying trees is for everyone. Thank you. It was nice to think about my grandmother. She passed at age 93. And she would be 106 if she were still with us. She was not big into Christmas but she loved gifts. Like most girls. I need to get to my dollar tree and make this cute tissue truck. God bless, Leslye
That Tissue Truck is too cute! I have a friend that used part of a 12 pack soda holder, cut it to size, cut a hole in the top, modpodged some fabric that matched her decor, & she puts it over those small square tissue boxes. Love your holiday truck! I especially liked the little wreaths that you put on them. TYFS
I have nice small cardboard boxes. The trucks on each side is a great idea. You went above and beyond by having the trucks face the same direction! Amazing.👍
Perfection and well described. I’ve never not puffed paint. Leaves an interesting texture without puffing and now I’m curious how it would look puffed. Adorable shirt also. Red trucks are so addictive.
Wow Kelly! Idk what to say. This is amazing! This has to be one of if not the best "little red truck" DIYs that I've seen. You've out done yourself once again. Gorgeous!!💚❤💚
Kelly you are a wonderful person and cafter. I can't tell you how I look forward to all your diys ! Keep up the good work . And God bless you and your family.
I was a bit leery at first about this, but I shouldn't have been. This turned out really nice. You did a great job making the two sides look alike. Thanks for you share.
Lisa Bennett I totally am with you.. I miss my mom so much, too. I find myself mimicking her way of cooking. cleaning and I am so lucky to have learned from my mom. Bless You
Julie Cereghin God Bless You sweetheart, we are all missing our best friends ever. I’m like you, miss my BFF everyday!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love you all!!
I am not artistic either. For the fender, you could’ve just made a paper template and then used cardboard to color and glue on to the other side. This was a very cute idea!
In genius!!!! I absolutely adore this DIY!!! I'm going to make this for my sister-in-law, she,ll LOVE it! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us.
It is a cute project. Maybe not to everyone's taste. But if a person gives thumbs down, he/she should explain why. Otherwise they should just jump to another video.
(: That's what I say too .... !!!!! If they had to give a reason, they would be too lazy to even write one!!!!! It's just ignorance, etc. and lack of values and virtues, and so ungrateful too!!!!!
Why do people need to explain why they don't like a video? That's just another way for keyboard warriors to jump all over them and say hateful comments. Most UA-camrs know they are going to get thumbs down on videos and can tailor videos accordingly.
Once again, way clever! It is stinking' cute! Back in my day when puffy paint came out we would run a low heat iron over the completely dry paint utilizing a sheet of wax paper between and the paint would puff up. Can you try that just to see if it responds the way it used to, please?
So absolutely cute! Just a tiny change and as one viewer said, this can be used as a candy dish, incense holder. Not a waste of my time watching at all. Once again, you've created something adorable. Just bought two of the trucks a few days before seeing the video. Timing is everything.
This is really darling. I, however, am ADHD so this is far too many steps for me. you usually only see one side of the kleenex box. Also. just a thought, maybe parchment paper to use as the first template? Then trace it on a pizza box or cereal box? Anyway, Kudos to for this DIY! You did a great job!
Your technique on making this truck PERFECT is GENIUS and I am loving it. I'm excited to spend the holiday season with you here on UA-cam. I started watching in the late Spring, so this will be my first year of Holiday Diys. I love what you do and I appreciate you for sharing. 🙏🤗 I hope to make this, so I'm saving the video.
Also I wanted to let you know you are amazing. As you work I think about alternative items I could use for example I somehow have so many left over wooden paint sticks because I use the same one over and over by just keeping it clean between jobs. TY so much!
Very clever Kelly! I love the tutorial on how to make these. The puff paint was an excellent choice where you used it because of the texture you brought to the truck! These would make an excellent gift idea too. Thanks for sharing!
I am obsessed with the little red truck, and you took this diy to a whole new level. I love All your diys, you are so creative, but this by far is my fav. Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend...❤
Jennifer Martin thank you honey! I honestly think on this video it’s because they think I copied Bethany red truck diy that she posted 8 hours before me! I’ve received some not so nice comments, It was just a case of great minds think a like cause there’s no way I could have filmed and created this diy, edit it and upload it in 8 hours! I actually had 16 hours of total work put into this video from start to it being uploaded! I don’t let it get to me I just say people don’t know! 🧡☀️
I found a wooden tissue box holder for under 2 bucks at a thrift store. The top has a not so attractive leafy pattern that I could easily sand and paint over, but the sides are all black, and it seems made for this DIY. I can just attach the trucks to the sides with hot glue and use it for something else after Christmas. Thanks for the brilliant idea of this truck tissue box!
Ok, so the tutorial seemed to drag on, but you we're so right! So well worth staying until the end. I love it! The extra effort you put in with the puffy paint gave it the extra little someting.
I am so bad also at free hand. Use something round to draw your half circle or full circle. I so love your red truck the best out of all the one's out at the stores!
Oh my gosh!!🤗-I’m so glad I picked up 2 red trucks on Friday at my DT. I ❤️ the red trucks this year and I did find the unfinished one truck about 6 weeks ago but only purchased one. I love your shirt -as a quilter I’ve got both quilt quality and Walmart red/black check fabric to play with. 😊So excited about the Christmas red truck DIY’s. And I’ve also seen Bargain Bethany’s tute! 😲
I am using the Red Truck for both my holiday decorations this year. I am doing Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. I am wondering WHEN it is going to be OUR turn to go to the kids houses---hmmm. WE are the Great-grandparents now!!!! Everyone wants to have ME do the main cooking. My girls bring things and help as do all the grand daughters, BUT I thought WE were supposed to go to their houses!!!!! OH WELL, I am using that RED TRUCK this year. I have found plates and everything. I think this would be really cute to TRY and make. Thank you so so much. I just found a few more of these red trucks at my Dollar Tree today. Kelly you are just the best---love you and am so happy you did this DIY!!!! Praying your guys are safe with the fires. We have a lot of family and friends sons fighting them also. Prayers for all of our First responders.
i keep checking to see if my DT will get the trucks in. so far no go. This is adorable and I love love how the truck tissue holder turned out. Go girl!!
YES IT IS JUST SO STNIKIN CUTE

Sweet project!! One of a kind for sure. It makes the truck come alive.
I can't believe anyone gave this a thumbs down. What the heck. That truck and I love trucks especially the classics. I have to say this is the cutest Christmas tissue holder I've ever seen. Kelly you nailed it with the plaid cloth and puffy paint. God bless you and take care.

That is so adorable and creative. Blessing to you Kelly.
This is a terrific craft! You are blessed with a creative mind!!! My mom wasn’t real big on decor, just traditional and simple, but golly did we make cookies and such. So I passed this down to my kids and grandkids! We have a cookie-palooza in December!
Really cute, and you did an excellent job explaining it.

My mom loved decorating for the holidays, she would of loved this DIY.
Big huggs from another daughter missing her mom.
Have a blessed weekend
I share your stuff all the time. I really respect how you teach and explain what has worked and what has not.
I'm right there with you. This is my first Christmas without my mom.
Kim Bare sorry about your mom.
Thanks for being brave and caring and sharing about your Mothers...all of you...I’m sadly part of the club as well. Fantastic... have been waiting to see what the Pro's were going to do with the big truck. .. your DIY is so clever!
Diane Cooper why thank you so much🧡☀️
Oh my gosh Kelly, you have one of the best shows on utube!! Your dyi’s are creative and your video filming is professional and how you teach is just perfection. OMG how adorable. I would have never have thought to use puff paint. I love it.
Awesome project !!! Your project is the best I have seen so far using these trucks !!!! I miss my Mom also... she has been gone since 1973 and I miss her every day !! Thanks for the tutorial !!!
Kelly, 'the Crafsman' glues sandpaper to his ruler/straight edge to keep it from slipping. It's a brilliant idea. Thought you could use it.
I love it. Made me think of my grandmother. I wish she was alive so I could make it for her. Maybe I know someone who would enjoy it. I don’t celebrate Christmas but that’s ok. WOW Kelly, that came out fantastic, love it.
We live in the same thought process. A DIY and a Hallmark movie! My faves! 🎄🎄🎄
I filled mine with Hershey's Christmas kisses and little candy canes, to use it as a candy dish. Great diy Kelly. Thank you.
Great idea!
I love that idea!!
I feel like I’m the only person here who’s not an adult, but I love this!
To quote someone who’s quite crafty.
“So stinking cute”
You’re right too, you can’t tell the difference from one to the other
Yeah.. wonder who said this first. They both say it a lot.
That red truck w/tissue box turned out beautifully! Very clever. Loved it. Sandy
To copy the fender shape maybe use crayon rubbing on paper to make template.
Great idea.
You can also mold in a piece of aluminum foil and then cut along the creases for the template.
I thought to outline the bottom of the tire, cut it out, and then you have a template for the fender
TYFS
That is beyond “so stinkin’ cute”!!! Love, love, love how this turned out! Thanks much for the inspiration!

I have nice small cardboard boxes. The trucks on each side is a great idea. You went above and beyond by having the trucks face the same direction! Amazing.👍

Love what you did with those trucks!
Super cute TFS I hope I can find that truck ⛄🎅🎄⛄🎄🎅
I am not artistic either. For the fender, you could’ve just made a paper template and then used cardboard to color and glue on to the other side.

sad to say just cannot please everyone. have to be quick to get these trucks at $tree. haven't seen them at mine.
Why do people need to explain why they don't like a video? That's just another way for keyboard warriors to jump all over them and say hateful comments.
Most UA-camrs know they are going to get thumbs down on videos and can tailor videos accordingly.
Lack of 'values and virtues' because they don't explain their thumbs down? Wow - you must be a saint.
I love love love all truck crafts any color. What a great idea.
Once again, way clever! It is stinking' cute!

Wish my dollar tree had these red trucks
Brenda Zerby they have a website you can order their items online
This is my favorite truck so far. I love it. Thank you.

Teri Maue you can do it. Don’t let ADHD stop you.
M son has always loved the Little Blue Truck books. I think I’m going to use this idea and create one for his room. Too cute ☺️💜
Love this - my $tree hasn't had any of these though :(
Walmart has some for $3.99 ea

That is cute! You should check out Bargain Bethany's Red Truck! ❤❤❤
I seen it. She's a great crafter to.
She is remarkable! What she comes up with is crazy!
Yass! Bethany was great!!
Loved this DIY! Now I am in creative high gear. Thanks Kelly!
Very clever Kelly! I love the tutorial on how to make these. The puff paint was an excellent choice where you used it because of the texture you brought to the truck! These would make an excellent gift idea too. Thanks for sharing!
I love it. However, I noticed that the snow on one side is on top. The other side, it’s on the bottom. That would drive me crazy.
Lol, that just means the sun came out and melted the top snow on that tree! 😁 😁 😁
My GOD!! Im totally in LOVE with this stink red truck!! Youve outdone yourself Kelly! TFS
I miss my mother too. I love everything about the red trucks.
I am obsessed with the little red truck, and you took this diy to a whole new level. I love All your diys, you are so creative, but this by far is my fav.

Ok, so the tutorial seemed to drag on, but you we're so right! So well worth staying until the end. I love it! The extra effort you put in with the puffy paint gave it the extra little someting.
Wow! I'd love to have just a drop of your creativity! Thanks so much for sharing!
This is my favorite one thus far. Thanks for the idea.
You're right, Kelly. The truck tissue holder IS Stinkin Cute!
Awesome project!!! Stinkin' cute is correct!!!
Oh my goodness!! What a perfect solution!! I love this!!! 🎄
