It’s always funny when people say, I don’t understand who this firearm is for because they hate PCC’s . Pistol, caliber, car beans are primarily for people who don’t want to diversify ammo which I completely understand.
If you’re the type of person likes to stockpile ammo but doesn’t want to break the bank. It’s much easier to invest in one caliber, then five or six different ones.

Valid point but i would still go least 3 different because one tool rarely is best possible in all situations.
My pick are 22lr very obvious reasons. 9mm for handgun and maybe pcc. And lastly either
223/556 for semi-auto AR or .308 for bolt gun. Depending where you live.

    • @HatsuneM1ku01
      @HatsuneM1ku01 3 місяці тому

300 blk exist because you can literally make it from 308 and 556 casing. On top of being all around better than 9mm ballisticly. 9mm is pointless in a rifle platform these days

I have had Glock mag 9mm carbine feeding rounds into the back of the barrel, no feed ramp. It was randomly shoving the bullet down into the case and it shoved one far enough that the round did not fully chamber. it went off with a high pressure spike and was not fully chambered and blew out the bottom of the case. Because of jamming the bullet into the back of the barrel and shoving the bullet down into the case. NO feed ramp or inadequate feed ramp on a Glock mag 9mm AR is a serious problem.

Lucky Gunner did some testing on various pistol rounds through various barrel lengths, and most 9mm rounds, even +P, are starting to actually drag in a 16in barrel, causing them to be slower than they would be out of a 10 or 12 inch barrel.

See a lot of hesitation on the polymer construction, yet there's too many "plastic fantastic" pistol platforms (including mine!) to count when at multi-gun competitions. I'm definitely a fan of it taking multiple mag options, means even at its MSRP, it's still cheaper than buying a second PCC (I run M&P platform, wife is Glock for instance). Would love to hear additional feedback prior to potential purchase. Thanks!

@@nbroachful just about a year ago S&W released a different 9mm carbine that folds sideways (like a twist on the sub2000) and it retails for about $600 but it only takes S&W mags. Therefore I don’t see why they would release a completely different 9mm pcc into an even more saturated market (ar-style 9mm) for a more expensive price tag 😂.
If I am going to buy a polymer 9mm carbine I would personally get the S&W FPC for $100 less and is more unique. I think IV has a few vids on it if u wanna check back through.

So I think aguila's 147s are "legitimate" subsonics too, they probably just assume most people know a standard velocity 147 is going to be subsonic. meanwhile Remington realizes they can get more money out of rubes if they write the word subsonic on their 147gr 9s....

Been running M&P PC CORE first gen since it came out in multi-gun and pistol meets since it came out, zero issues with it (and I'm LAZY, rather be shooting guns than cleaning them!), even when totally gunked with powder. My local club is now doing 2 gun meets, since it's indoors, long guns must be PCCs. Kinda digging the ability to use multiple types of mags, so my current kit will run it as well as my wife's (she's on a Glock platform). Wasn't aware of the recall until this vid, but once that issue is fixed, this platform has a place in the lineup in my opinion--and still far cheaper than a Sig or Kriss platform.

Just as insight into the PCC in general, it's been an idea since the 1800s to have a rifle share the ammo of your carry pistol for practicality, even though it's a bit of compromise on available range. Though .357 Mag through a carbine isn't much of a downgrade all things considered, if you're limited to modern 9mm, you're really going to be engaging out to 150 yards effective anyway. I agree with your points though. Use the best tool for the job. 👍

9x19 pccs are fun and affordable for IPSC. Shooting competitions with .556 or god forbid .308 is super expensive. And you'll still get the training with a rifle.

No thank you. It's a polymer handguard that is proprietary so good luck on swapping it out . Held it a couple times and it just felt so cheap 😂

I have 2 Witt machine cans. The dirty 30 & the freakin 45. Both suck. They do not suppress anything. Total waste of money. Nothing but barrel weights.

Why would anyone want a full 16 inch carbine in 9MM it recoils more, doesn’t have the ballistics to match.

i took mine back to sportsmans wh due to the recall ,it sat there for six weeks and had not been shipped back so i went there top pick it up today so i could ship it back myself and they offered to cash me back for it so i took it, this recall only effects the ones made prior to feb. 2024 , when i took it to sportsmans i did not bring the two mags that came with it , OOPS, so now i will buy a new one that has had the upgrades witch was a newer bolt carrier group , a new and heavier buffer tube and a heavier buffer spring ect so now when i buy a new one i will have two extra mags , hehehe

I hate that they don’t make magazines for these that are Tailored to this carbine. It literally looks as dumb as all get out to have a skinny mag sticking out of a mag well that looks as if it doesn’t fit at all. It looks ridiculous. I get that they don’t want to offer a mag well that doesn’t take our regular M&P mags but….It looks so dumb. They could manufacture this firearm in a way where the mag well has a inner changeable mag well clip of sorts that can be changed out. They could have made it where the gun comes with three of those inner changeable mag well clips. The M&P, the Glock, and a A.R.-15 look alike as seen with the S&W Sport 22lr.

Pistol caliber carbines with full length barrels will never not be stupid. If I am going to have a full rifle setup, I at least want it to shoot something that isn't mediocre.
