I've been driving this car around as a courtesy car for a couple of days and let me tell you it is better than my partners 2105 corolla hatch . comfortable, Nice ride, good handling and the performance is lots of fun. I can't beleive the tone from the exhaust it produces. For the money this thing is a winner.
Happy with mine although a paint problem has been discovered under the wraps water has been getting between the paint and the cellulose creating odd marks between the paintwork. Mine was removed with a heat gun by the dealer. Since January this fault has been common knowledge. Apart from this car is great (said goodbye to my 9.5 year old Swift). Hope it is as reliable as Swift!
Suzuki cars are good value, nicely designed, spacious. The MAIN problem is, most of them, if not all of them, are 1star or 2 star on NCAP. And that's why I see a Beautiful Suzuki vehicle and one word comes to mind- YUCKKK

m k It's a little bit of an in between-er like the Hyundai accent. Saying that, the accent is huge for the class for being a light car. The Baleno isnt to far behing the accent in that reagrd.
metcard So what if it is assembled in India ? this shows how ignorant you are. Do you know that Mercedes, bmw , Audi,toyota,honda,hyndai , Mitsubishi are made in India ?... probably no. One last thing is land rover and jaguars are Indian companies now.
I wouldn't buy any of those cars if they were assembled in India. I work with car parts and we get parts from india and the quality is sub standard. I wouldn't use any of those spare parts that are made in india on my old bomb, let alone buy a whole car made there.

My dad have 85 model suzuki alto (japan) and our neighbour bought a 2000 model suzuki maruti(indian).Maruti's engine makes a weird noise and gives you a sense of bad quality while Alto's engine makes you feel you drive a good quality car. Also my dad has been driving it for more than 30 years and didnt have a major problem in engine while our neighbour always has a problem with his younger maruti.

It scored quite poorly in the Euro NCAP, only achieving a 3 star rating due to a lack of safety systems that should be standard.

Am using maruti alto for 10 years with no complaints lol
