Must be Nice being Rich! I can hardly afford HarborFreight tools and to be able to buy every tool Milwaukee makes is mind blowing!💯 Congrats on the Garage extreme makeover!❤️
Hey Matt, One of my favorite projects on your channel not because how big or expensive the garage is it’s the look and design I would’ve been every bit as impressed if it was the quarter of its size that said it’s not big to show off or a waste of space it’s obviously perfect for what john had in mind. Excellent job all the way around you and the crew. Well done.
It’s amazing to see everyone’s individual talents come together as a collective and produce such an amazing result. As a fellow fabricator, I have to say Mike F is some kinda good!
hats off to the folks that built this beauty, holy cow that's nice, and to the person who owns it, congrats on whatever you did to make this a reality in your lifetime, just a superb work of art, A+
Just so you know, it looks like the murderer 's house /pool was a 1700s farm house renovated without removing the roof. I'm glad his ghost isn't around. Also looks like the roof wasn't sealed around the chimney. It ran down and soaked the floor, and that ol' floor was really old, and bucked like a race horse to a novice.
I watched the whole series and absolutely loved it! This video is great for the new people joining - it recaps all the work you've accomplished with your amazing team 👍🏻👍🏻
After that place is put to use, how is the floor matting and such to stay clean ? Is it just pulled up and replaced? Also how do you keep the moisture from the wash bay from entering the dry spaces?
Its really true, you never know when you need a "compact router". There an are tools I bought for one use case and I dont dont regret keeping it. But if there is that next time and I need a specific tool and I dont have it, it will waste my time with an unfinished project or worse I had to compromise.
@@ObsessedGarage the whole garage? I use them on my entrance over my cement in winter. Easy to clean the snow on them but it looks a monumental job to lift them to take the dirt away in your big garage!
Enjoyed the condensed revisit of one of your masterpieces for sure. Definitely reminded me of Mike's crazy skills and innovative ideas. Can't wait to see more of this craziness on the AdamLZ project!
You and Mike are a perfect match! He's got all the skills and knowledge and you have he dreams, drive and bucks. Amazing what you guys have accomplished!
Wow is an understatement. You should change your title from Obsessed Garage to "Ultimate Garage". What a beauty! Now if I can only win the lottery. Congrats on your work of Art.
This is a really NICE garage to showcase some very pampered cars. There are some useful things I do not see, and changes that come to mind: 1) a variety of car lift options... Your scissor lifts built into floor are good for work where you do not need under the car, and wheels are still on. You are going to want a car lift with swing-arms that reach over to lift+support a car from the frame so you can walk under and see/reach the bottom side without blocking things... for many kinds of work like: • suspension, brakes, tire/wheel swap • transmission work, drive train • any kind of exhaust work • fuel lines/tanks, brake lines, etc • bottom side diagnostics & maint • wiring that runs underneath • CV-joints, steering system • even basic oil+fluid changes Frequentl you are going to want a quick floor jack to roll under and lift one corner/side of a car so you can get something done, no matter where it is sitting. 2) impressive tool box and countertop area, but you are going to want more electrical outlets really fast. Either install some 8ft surface mount power strips, with plug sockets every 6in, or add duplex plugs above the counters every foot, and along several walls every four feet. 3) I see no engine hoist or engine stands for motor swaps or rebuild. ... but maybe you send that sort of work to specialty shops. 4) you are probably going to want some storage cabinets to the side, to keep dozens of things in that dont need to clutter the garage-- or even build a loft area in one end for storage above, while cars park underneath. ** Enjoy your new super-garage **
What did you use for the edge of the stairs here? I’m doing mine now and would like a better option then aluminum edging with visible screws. Amazing work as always.
Thanks Mike. Any suggestions on a single concrete step for a landing that’s 18’ wide? I was gonna try to use composite deck trim that’s 2” wide by 3/4” tall and tap con it to the concrete to pressure fit the Swisstrax from that to the drywall. And countersink the screws.
@@ObsessedGarage I don't have many "dreams..." Either I do, or I do not. Nonetheless, the few dreams I do have don't involve a "garage!" This ad, or infomercial... whatever you designate it, keeps showing up at the top of my YT videos feed instead of things I'm actually interested in! I'm just wondering if all the uninteresting, monotonous crap that has recently been appearing on my feed us based on a poorly written algorithm or if it's force fed paid advertising?! UA-cam just a little while ago used to be awesome because it was so unlike television.
Not sure how I missed this series. I remember you showing us the cars and planning the project, but never saw the actual work done. I now have a new OG series I can watch, thanks!
Just another rich guys garage that will likely not be used. Purely eye candy. Hey guys, check out these tools. Not even close as an ultimate garage, I mean what, a couple cabinets, stereo system, a video game and a lift that will never be used? What’s ultimate about this? “I need an air chuck wired every 10 feet”
I think a lot of people mistaken dirty and disorganized as "better" or "harder working." In my world, that is complete nonsense. Any successful person that errs on disorganized would have had to figure out how to surround themselves with people that can fill their gaps. Otherwise your mess is just you not being very good at much.
@ObsessedGarage I was just referring to having the appropriate tools to do everyday tasks, not just one, like air tools mechanic work. The "MOST INSANE" garage to me would be more along the likes of a Tony Stark engineering lab/shop. A space to be able to do anything, build anything. I've seen a lot of these "nice" spaces people just blow their money on, the tools stay new forever, the lift never actually lifts a car, The kids friends will come over and play the racing game, haven't really seen one be used, mostly because the rich don't have time to sit at home and tinker around, they'd rather 1) Hire to have someone else do it for them, or 2) They are busy making money :). You've put together a nice space, the floor, the cabinets, audio etc.. but to me the title of your video doesn't match the content, hence my post. As much space as this garage has, there is no reason someone couldn't add the other trades (Metal, wood, technology etc...) in the same fashion you've designed the mechanic portion. But I know your constrained by the clients design/needs.
There’s nothing wrong with competitive eating if the OG thing doesn’t work out… I don’t think there’s a Guinness book of world record for the most eaten zebra cakes….just saying.
oh come on. I was hoping for April fools joke. maybe announce that from now on you're into rock crawling jeeps, or diesel tractor pulling trailers through a mud field competitions
It would be something weird, like a wash and talk but he uses chemical guys products without putting a big emphasis on it and acting like it was normal.

How do you clean underneath the black squares?
You can just pop them out and clean underneath. Then pop them back in when you’re done.

Yes, they can be popped up in large sections, drag them out and clean, then pop them back in. Very easy.

Hello A question how much is the cost to have a garage at home of this model with everything.
About $1,500,000
Ones of dollars.
💯🎈
Just...to have an ideia. Total of this setup ?
Around $1,500,000
You need more laborers..
You can't be wasting your time cutting tile and pulling a pallet jack around.
Why not? I like doing this stuff. To me that's the whole point of owning a business. I get to do what I love doing most of the time.
What did that entire build out cost? $200k?
1.5m as per Matt
It's 5500sq.ft. conditioned/insulated building. That is at least $200 sq.ft. unfinished.
