What people don’t understand is pro play will most likely only effect the movements of AI players and or in the play now game feature. That’s “if” it even works and is what 2k is saying it’s going to be. What animation will it trigger from a real life player if you’re playing with your own build in the park? Think about it. As you see in the video they’re showing just real nba footage of with (ONE) pro play comparison step back animation from KD. It’s just the regular 2k. Please believe pro play will only work AI and users controlling real nba players if it works. Also beware and remind yourselves, 2k can develop and put a video to show whatever they want to show. So that KD video doesn’t impress me. They can literally have a dev make a few short videos that makes the the viewer believe all this will be in the game. Every year we see half of this stuff never makes it in the real game.

That kd example with Devin booker coming up in the game and not letting him iso while in the real life footage he moves away to give him space to get to his spot, those are the small details that help in online settings with AI players.
people didn't notice about the proplay example shown in the trailer was that defender was also copying the exact animation. Does this mean that when a player triggers this crossover moves us the defender will be lock into animation like when you're being forced into a posterized animation ?
So how much control do you have over the pro play stuff or do you just press a button and watch the sequence play through? Personally I'd much rather have snappy gameplay with procedural contextual animation than this stuff.
Honestly super tired of the oversized 2k players. I've seen literally every singe player last season in person up close and chat with some a bit and they are ALL SKINNY! I'm 6'4 208lbs and ONLY a few wings and 2 centers were bigger than me. They are lean and ripped, the whole bulky NFL size player stuff is HORRIBLE. Not even Jokic is fat in person he's actually lean and and normal size just tall as hell we just see them on TV next to rail thin players so they appear huge! 2k... CUT THAT SHIT OUT
