Nabers, Hyatt, Wandale? Thats a Great Young Core!
Thank you for your continued professional-level analysis on this forum. Something, that is lacking, you remove the "Jerry Springer" nonsense that is all too common and provide intellectual class. Your knowledge and passion for football is admirable and you omit the vitriol. Off-topic, that performance last night by Stamkos and Sergachev was beyond admirable. Asking the Lightning to overcome the hole they find themselves in against Florida would be asking a feat that would belong on your movie channel but that was quite a display by Coop's boys last nite in the NHL. Your draft assessment of the Giants was fair. Well done.
I’d say passing on JJ was smart even if he looks great with Minnesota - they don’t have Justin Jefferson & Jordan Addison & TJ Hockenson to fit him in. Nabers at least gives them a potential game breaker. I know he isn’t as fast as tyreke and those were college highlights but he just looks faster then everyone on film like he has 3 rockets on his back
The current front office made a shrewd move, taking a lesson from their predecessors's mistake. Rather than reaching for a quarterback they weren't sold on, they wisely opted to strengthen the team around the QB position for the future. With JJ lacking the value for a high first-round pick, they seized the chance to acquire a standout player in a key position of need. This strategic approach sets them up to pursue a talented quarterback later on, armed with both a solid team and ample draft capital
I think picking up a QB would have been a smarter move honestly. Not saying DJ is all done but at least have someone for Daboll to train that also has potential
I like our draft, Im just a bit disappointed they didnt pick up an O lineman somewhere in the 3rd or 4th round, especially given how horrendous our O line was after a few injuries
Yeah that's the most surprising part of the draft 😂
I mean everytime we draft a lineman there never good. We added a lot to it in free agency so I don’t mind going with the proven talent.
Jackson Krueger Sports, Subscribed because your videos are so much fun!
Loved all the picks except Muasau but the other 5 picks were great and the only gripe I have is we didn't draft any guards A- for me
Clear B+ class. Had they taken Haynes in the third it would’ve been a picture perfect class for me but I do like Phillips
Another 4-5 win season ahead. All because Daniel Jones is still our Quarterback
Ironically, that kind of few wins season can only put the team in the position to draft a franchise QB, so it's not a bad thing, IMO.
It is if no such Qb is available.
I really like our draft. I get we get no qb but imo we would’ve just been reaching
I really like Tyrone Tracy. It’s gonna be another year of hoping the offense line comes together tho.
Giants did ok but everyone else in the division had a better draft can’t expect anything different
No linemen 🤦♂️
I hate Joe Shame.
2022
1st round T Neal
3rd round G Josh Ezeudu
5th Marcus G McKethan
2023
2nd round C JMS
2024 : Signed 5 OL (2 potential starters) + 2 UDFA
Joe Schoen brought in 11 OL last 2 years & just got a new OL coach & y’all upset🤣💀
Theo will be a great player!!
I don't like what the did I think our line is still trash and we will be trash again.
I think JMS will be much better, the only person on our Line that is still truly a concern is Neal. Whether they improved or not is just up to how they play next season.
We added 6 vets to the line why are you still crying? Can’t keep adding OL thru the draft it clearly hasn’t been panning out for us
@@TheBraveHEARTx I WANT MORE!!!!!
Do you think nubin is gonna start over Jason pinnock and Dane belton
Over belton yes. But he’ll still be on the field Bowen likes alot of dbs on the field. Him and pinnock will be a solid duo
I give it a D+ we didnt Address S@$!#:;
I wanted to at least take a chance on a QB like Joe Milton of Tennessee as a project and we didn’t address Oline.
We didn’t address O Line, So when Daniel Jones can’t get Nabers the ball he’ll have an excuse.
Exactly bro how do you not draft 1 lineman in a draft full of them with the worse o line in the league makes zero sense
We signed 5 in free agency and 2 more in UDFA’s. There were other areas that needed to be addressed through the draft, it’s ok. Look at the last few oline players we drafted in the last 5 years and see how many hit
You guys have no clue what you're talking about do you? You should check the offensive line depth chart
I feel like a lot of O Lineman don’t do well right off the start. That’s why we signed Eluminor and Runyon. I do agree that we could’ve used some of our picks to draft greater positions of need. We should’ve drafted a D-lineman instead of a Linebacker
2022

3rd round G Josh Ezeudu

2023

They picked few ots udfa ,! Relax and we got many oline guys in fa !
strong draft ? thought you might have some reality for rating giants .we didn't address 2 biggest needs ,QB & OLINE, schoen & daboll sat on their ass , after their try for maye.then watched 257 picks go by , & took no qb for INSURANCE for jones who may not be back by 4th game .so locke has to start , a fill-in qb ,hell, qb's were still there in 6th round. and OUR OLINE GAVE UP 85 SACKS LAST YEAR ..so draft a tight end ? C'MON MAN !
We drafted soo much players for the o line and if we didn’t go QB in the first round why would we draft a qb in any other round than the first ?
We got plenty of OLine help in free agency. And the plan was probably to try and get Penix, but no one expected the falcons to take him at 8, he was projected for the second round, and given the opportunity to, the Giants would have traded up for him.
The Giants were lacking everything. They're not expected to field a good team after one draft. Get the best players available, then address QB when Daniel Jones is off the books. Don't expect the Giants to make the playoffs this year.
I think while they have DJat QB, just figure out wtaf is going on with the OL, see who can develop, and then go from there next year
Giants couldnt even lose correctly last year
B-. We should have gone Jenkins, Haynes or Beebe rd3. We could have signed a free agent CB who gives us as much peace of mind as throwing this kid in at Slot Corner.
Interesting you Named Mike Evans as the top wr in that draft considering he is the only High end WR to win a Championship and that was after they acquired Brady. It's why the Nabors pick rather then moving on from Jones with either Penix or McCarthy was a poor move. Safety in 2 was a reach when you have more positional value needs, but I agree you are correct Nubin is the right player to grab if you are going to reach for a safety. Phillips is another undersized slot CB with the same tacking issues as Flott and Holmes. Similar redundancy as drafting Robinson after drafting Toney. I saw more value on the board at 4 with Khyree Jackson and Brandon Dorlus going right after Johnson but the profile of Johnson athletically and blocking means I could see him becoming the next generation of Kelce/Kittle in that he is a more complete TE and not just an oversized receiver. I agree that Tracy could see more then just a kick returner and I hope he does, he is basically a bigger version of Robinson who I said should be a scatback more then a WR similar to how Darren Sproles was used by the Chargers and Saints. The LB I think was a reach with Mahogany and Wingo on the board which were better positional value for traits players that late, But Muasau is basically McFadden 2.0 so it does make for depth since Okereke and Simmons are very different styles of LB then McFadden. My biggest issue with this draft is other then not getting a QB is half the draft seems like they got redundacy rather then different skillsets. Nabors, Nubin and Johnson are players that we needed to add their skills, tracy is redundant but I think will be better used then Robinson and Phillips and Luasau are carbon copies of players we already have.
Wait JKS likes something the giants did??? Is it my birthday?
Joe's a bum! 3 o lineman drafted by dallas.our line is good even functional? No its not...he sucks.i don't want no one bashing about dj in November when Joe is equally if not more responsible
