The spoon wheel is actually 340mm which slightly smaller than typical 350mm wheel like the mugen. Not sure if that particular size is available in other momo applications.
Hi Vincent wow thanks for the awesome information 😀 You are 💯 correct the MOMO Monte Carlo is only offered in 320 and 350 where the Spoon is 340mm exclusive. You learn something new everyday. I love this Honda community!
This video is EXACTLY what we need! Well, what I need. Not only does it cover all you need for a button relocation/quick release, but install as well. Video saved, will be coming back to it when ready to pull trigger on my FL5. Good stuff sir!
I’m only into this because of a friend soon i have an appointment for my permit i am hoping I pass my permit test and my road test and one day get a car and add a quick release
I got a spoon wheel but my 11th gen is automatic and has those paddle switches do you think it would be a issue or should be able to attach them to the spoon/worksbell hub?
At the end of the vlog I explained why I changed the steering wheel and why it is significant to me. The stock steering wheel is nice starting point but can always be improved.

Nice touch ❤
Your GT-R is next
I love the OEM wheel though 😢
Life is too short to stay stock hahaha
My question is why change out the OEM steering wheel does the aftermarket one make the car go faster if so I definitely need to do it on my 370Z😅
Haha it will help you drive faster forsure. The 370z steering wheel probably so heavy you will save 80lbs haha jkjk

You will probably need a new harness.
It’s one thing to change an old and crusty steering wheel but changing out a type r steering wheel make me feel weird but it does look cool
where did you get the airbag cancelers
The air bag cancelers comes with the Works Bell Rapfix kit but you van also get them from Invision Auto Imports

Good choice👍
Thanks Li!
Anyone notice if there's a connector for heated steering wheel?
So you end up returning the Honda Alcantara steering wheel?
Randy do you want it?
@phothrottle Nah man
It's too delicate! My filthy hands will get it dirty in no time haha
@@Randy-gc3rr yeah you would need to wear gloves. It looks the best out of the three but it is also the least durable. Pick your poison
Did you get any emission/rev match errors?
No error codes
@@phothrottle cleared eventually
You should use the Alcantara wheel with the spoon horn push 👍
If it didn't have the Mugen logo on it it would be pretty nice.
Beautiful I can’t wait to do mine can you list all the part numbers thanks (works bell):
Jeffrey I added it in the description!
Can you legally remove an airbag in Canada? Insurance may drop you as well disconnecting/removing a safety device.
You have to use a safety harness in the absence of an airbag.
Twining 🔥
Nice and cheaper than the spoon unit lol
Man, I would never be able to do this .........
I sure you can it is pretty straightforward and the instructions are good 👍
Very nice, but an airbag is a legal requirement in the UK.
Yeah I think in most countries an airbag is required. They also recommend full harness setup if running airbagless.
It’s cool but loosing the air bag is kinda big deal.
Check this out. I think it's a better option for a steering wheel. ua-cam.com/video/4-WFWd6buRU/v-deo.html
I few on my online friends have also recommended or has this set up. It looks pretty promising. Thanks for the suggestion 👍
I hope so 🤣😤🙏
Awh man but the stock steering wheel is already basically a racing steering wheel

What do you think about the new mugen steering wheel?
