Happy new year. Great to see your informative and educational videos. Thank you. Question any suggestions as to were to buy single panels for the garage door. I live in Arizona.
Hey there - Thank you for the reply :-) It is a Genie Pro Screw Drive. So when it closes (on the way down) It just stops in certain places while motor keeps spinning and then engages again and moves down further stopping again etc (in exact same 4 places each time and finally closing. As per your question I closed it and checked when it paused and "when it stops moving" I can pull it "down" freely "BUT not up". Thank you again very much and any info is so greatly appreciated 🙂
Hi, Ok so just figured out how to upload a short video of the garage open/closing to this profile if you want to see it - Thank you again so very much! 🙂
Thank you again very much for the help - I have an old chanel " jack is me 1000 " no spaces with the little "a" sign in front of course - jack howard and it is there if you want to see it in action
@@jccbsl1 inside the machine on the circuit board you'll see Open, Close, Stop, and Com. Those are the terminals for the 3 button station. Not far from those terminals you'll see a button that says Radio. That's where you program remotes.
My garage door (std 2 car gargage) keeps disengaging for a second and reengaging "on the way down only" (3 or 4 times on each close in the same spots each time) Opens normally - Any ideas please? So confused guessing maybe a trolley? Happened one day to the next just like that :-( Trying to do cheap as I rent and there is no way my landlord would appreciate my massive 68 Torino parts storage mess lol
Definitely don't want to piss the landlord off, 😂. What brand of garage door opener? And at the point where it binds up, how does the door feel manually at the same point? Does it seem to have resistance?

Actually just watched the video - No noise like that - Just dis-engages, pauses in that place (motor keeps spinning) and one second later re-engages and continues on it's way down - Weird huh?
That was wayyy easier than reading the manual!!!! Thanks!
@@BenchDogJoineryColorado I appreciate the awesome feedback! 👍🏼

Do you know what brand of door you have?

Does it give you a loud grinding noise?
No no grinding noise just standard motor running... juts dis-engages and re-engages - Maye a slight click when it re-engages
@@jhow1863 on the Genie machine. Is there a screw with a spring coming directly out of the back of the machine? The screw will have a nylon nut.

I have been unable to find a manual for this opener on the LIftMaster site. How do I program remotes and connect a manual switch?

Hi, Checked and it does not have a screw on the back - I tried to upload a short link that i uploaded showing it in action but i think they deleted it

I hate it when commercial ops have so many wires in the way of the limits so you cant adjust them... 🤬
It is tight. Plus, I got big hands. It's all I can do to hook up the 3 button station. 😂

That is weird. Let me think about this.
