In theory, if you keep and extract a surface off one side (1/2 of the hull) you may be able to then export it as an IGES and open it into something like Rhino 3D where it may be able to flatten it, then mirror the flat pattern and you may be able to get what you are looking for.

Can you obtain the surface of the hull to make the cuts for the sheets? In other words, to obtain the hull patterns in a flat plane.
