"People only hurt us because they are overwhelmed by their own defilements and negative states of mind"- very well put and completely correct.

Great job! Buddhism involves right effort, mindfulness, concentration and so many other positive things. It is phylosophically and psychologically powerful.

What is it that makes Mindah-Lee Kumar's videos so captivating? The answer is blindingly simple. She presents Buddhist concepts with no gloss, just straightforward talk and common sense and with the use of analogy that Lord Siddhartha was so fond of himself. What a great teacher she is.

Mindah, you came into my life at the perfect time. I have been receiving synchronicity's lately leading toward buddhism then I found you on The Chopra Well UA-cam video google hangout panel discussion on Mindfulness. Your message and energy resonated the most with me. Just watching two of your video's, I now have better clarity and direction with my life path! Thank you, thank you Mindah-Lee. I am indeed grateful to hear your message

Thank you Mindah. The antidote to habitual anger and aversion is lovingkindness or metta meditation which then matures to compassion or karuna...I've seen some people skip the first step or confuse the two. Abandoning unwholesome (wrong) view, intention, speech, & action is right effort.

Wonderful. Unless we change or redirect what is going on in our heads we won't change or improve the world. We might continue to have negative behaviour which promotes suffering and disatisfaction in life.

Mindah-Lee...I work as a Chiropractor here in the US. One may not think so, but patients often turn to their chiros for psychological support. My wife and I have recently become interested in Buddhism as we realized we were already. So much of what I have learned from you are things we have often felt. We recently realized this is a philosophy that makes sense and could be helpful to many. I feel this is the greatest way to find peace and I will be sharing your videos with some patients who could benefit. Any thoughts on suggesting this way of thinking for those struggling, without seeming like I am pushing a religion? I do live in a dominantly Christian region and I do not wish to offend. Just curious on your thoughts and I may wish to pick your brain in the future. I will be reading some books on the subject, but please keep the videos coming.
    Best Regards...Chris

I really want to thank you, especially today when my mind is at war with myself. 2015 hasn't been a good start for me. I've been having lots of negative thoughts , which has arisen due to anger and expectations. I've cried silently because I felt helpless and don't know what to do or how to react. The past few days have been really really difficult for me. It is an effort to smile. This is the second time I've watched this video and its uplifted my heavy heart and I feel so much betta. Thanks :)

Dear Mindah, I was waiting to see some results before i write to you. When i first started thinking of meditation i went through many videos to check methods and came across your videos. its your simple ways of explaining the basics of meditation and mindfulness that really helped me to start my meditation practices. Now i feel happier, calm and peaceful most of my day n night. I am very grateful to you and appreciate your nice and kind work. After 3 months i have still not reached a stage where i could really quiet my mind. But even the 10 minutes a day makes me happy and i found some space in mind which i am using to do new things for eg: reading , practicing yoga .
if you could tell me how long did it take for you to quiet your mind, that would be helpful.
I like all your videos. Keep up your good work. Keep inspiring many more !!!
    Thank You!!!
