Thank you mommy oven, just tried it out and it's sooo fluffy and light! I did half the recipe because it said I'd make 2 cakes but my pan's definitely bigger then yours so it turned out smaller. Still so good!

what she is making by whisking the eggs and sugar is something called pate a bomb pronounced (pat-aye- bomb). pate a bomb best becomes fluffy and twice the size when those ingredients are warm. i work in pastry and there have been times i didnt heat up my eggs enough and my pate a bomb didnt become as fluffy which affected the overall texture of the final product. in my standard kitchen aid mixer, i normally heat up my pate a bomb with a blow torch and torch it around the metal bowl and it works perfect. its the same concept as baking when they say to use room temperature ingredients, some ingredients perform better together at a warmer temperature. hope that somewhat answered your question!
@@ttzelingg its either, your whites were undermixed so the weight of the flour deflated it or you overmixed with flour. keep in mind, the white meringue is made with the incorporation of air, the more you touch it, the more air is being knocked out. your goal is to knock out as little air as possible but to achieve a one colored batter in the end. egg whites are sensitive, cant under mix, cant over mix, and cant leave it standing still or it will deflate. it must be used immediately once the right peak is attained. if for some reason, you've got the right peak but you are still not ready to use your white meringue, its better to leave it whisking in the lowest speed, than having it sit on its own. hope that answered your question!

에어프라이어로 만들었어요! 온도는 150도로 30분간 돌려주었고 구움색이 연해서 160도로 추가 3분 정도 돌려주었습니다 엄청 촉촉하고 레몬향도 장난 아니에요ㅜㅜ 레몬즙을 좀 많이 넣었는데 그거 때문에 더 레몬향도 많이 나고 촉촉한거같아요~~!
