My son daughter in law and grand son and granddaughter all decided on Thanksgiving they wanted to feed the homeless. So they cooked all day packed food. Put it in containers and in the ice chest and drove and drove. They feed so many. They even went to get cold meds. For a couple who were sick. They people seemed grateful. And my son’s family felt so good after doing this. Some of the homeless were living under bridges.

I hate to hear about the break & he’s internal bleeding. My dad dealt with this for a very long time it doesn’t make sense, but will be praying for him and you. Thank you Lord for working in your son’s life. I never understood why they did sports on Sunday mornings, taking families out of church. We did dinners around the table most of our girls childhood life. The keys 🔑 to a diary. My hubby heard (for the first time) you tell exactly what car that key was for you found. 😂 He cracked up. My dad was a Jack of all trades, knew cars, building homes, knew all his tools, and at his job, he was a machinist and could even invent new tools for a job. What I am getting at; my dad was phenomenal at most anything, but had absolutely no desire to teach me anything because I was a girl. And believe me, I tried and tried to get his attention and be an apprentice, but I was rebuffed numerous times until I finally got the hint and quit. 🤷🏼♀️ Sad 😢 ✌🏼❤️
Sorry about that. I kinda forced my squirrels to be ready, learn some basic repairing skills. Not bragging, but they are semi self sufficient like us all. Some things I just can’t do or don’t like to. Like paint, sand, change oil or mower blades, and even fight wiper blades lol
That’s so sweet that your son wanted to help that woman. Remind him that not everyone working a corner with a sign is really homeless and poor. They did a story on a couple in a nearby town one year. It turned out that while the family was technically homeless, in that they didn’t have a home of their own they were living in a very decent motel. They got food stamps, aid to families with dependent children, unemployment and with both the adults working a corner, which they switched up often, they were bringing in more than many two income households in the area. Too bad for them that their pictures were in the newspaper and on TV and no one would give them any more money and they had to move on. They had a law that it was illegal for a pedestrian and someone in a vehicle to give or exchange anything. It cut down on the people on the street when traffic was stopped at a signal from harassing drivers for money.
