In the year 1462, during the Ottoman siege of Wallachia, Vlad the Impaler-now transformed into the legendary vampire Dracula-faces an unexpected and deadly foe: a Predator, drawn by the carnage and seeking the ultimate hunt. @@kimbelsimpson7535 Depends on what version of the mythology this story is based on. in the book Interview With the Vampire and in the movie when the vampire was asked about reflection he admitted that was a silly myth and that he reflected just like a person in front of a mirror. Maybe this story is based on that version of vampire?

It is funny but in the Dracula novel by Bram Stoker they sprnd half the novel getting wooded stakes , holy water blessed cross ect all the traditional mystical ways to kill a vampire and in the end they ssy Dracula was killed by a bowie knife. Never could figure out how the author could make such a big mistake.

Dracula is the living dead. He’s will not have a heat signature. But in the third movie about Blade, Dracula was able to walk in the daylight.

In the novel, he can walk in daylight too, but it saps his powers.
Remember AVPR? The xenos dont emit enough heat to show up on the thermal cam. The Yautja built something called xenovision. He may have used that.

@Planetestial Because he was written as the opposite of Dracula, Dracula was the representation of evil while Van helsing was the representation of good. A warrior sent by God to destroy monsters. If a Predator was represented as pure evil Van Helsing and his warriors of light would kill it as well. I get that it's fun and fictional to write about these things and maybe I went to deep into the story of Bran Strokers story of good vs. Evil so of we use the Dracula from Buffy or wolverine Van Helsing then sure, A Predator wins.

But the vampire hunters always pulled dirty tricks to defeat him never hand to hand. The predator is like twice the strength of a human male & in Bram Stoker's novel Dracula has the strength of 20 men & supernatural speed. In a fight without weapons Dracula would tear a predator to shreds in seconds even a weaker vampire would win.
I like the respect that the Predator showed Dracula. Killing him with the dagger reserved for only the best adversary. The AI artwork depicting Dracula as the monster with bat fur on his back at 3:57 was a nice touch.

Dracula has superhuman strength and speed, and is a warrior himself, I feel it could have easily went his way.

@@oysterhead5150 In fiction there is a literary rule called moral priority which is why good almost always defeats evil in fiction (rarely in real life ahahaha). Due to having a warrior's honor code I think the Predator is LESS evil than Dracula so moral priority goes to Predator.
In fiction plot armor is given to heroes in stories sometimes to make sure that they win.

In one comic book a Predator challenged a grizzly bear to a fist fight with no technology at his disposal like happened with Dutch in the first movie and the giant bear won almost effortlessly. The Pred did not even put up a decent fight. Final scene is bear walking away and Pred covered in green blood.
If Preds could defeat every opponent bare handed then they would not need their technology. Goro and Kintaro and Motaro from Mortal Kombat all beat unarmed Predator too.

Yes, if you drink blood and Dracula does, blood is warm than you have some kind of heat signature. Plus, the predator has the ability to see different kinds of visual spectrums and movements using his helmet
But blood doesn't stay warm after leaving the human body. Maybe the predator can detect him using some of his tech but heat signature is a stretch. Blade has a heat signature because he's alive. Dracula is an undead, not heat.....but great video, keep em coming.

@Lordzilla What is Dracula made of? Flesh, blood, and bone. But his blood isn't cold as ice-it's alive with a darkness that chills far deeper. Plus, his presence can give off an aura of dread or supernatural energy, which Predator can reflect as heat reading

Per the Predator lore normal humans with zero knowledge of Predators have taken them out numerous times whereas the only humans whom have ever taken down Dracula are ones who possess special knowledge of Dracula's weaknesses and the tools by which to exploit those weaknesses. In other words, Vampire Hunters.
This simply means that Predators are much easier to kill than Dracula. Even if we were to go with basic logic, Predators have lost to ordinary humans while Dracula has not. Thus Dracula is more challenging of a foe than a Predator and requires a specially trained Vampire Hunter to take down.

Epic battle, but my money is on Dracula all the way. 1. Speed. Vampires can reportedly move with “the speed of a falling star.” That’s pretty friggin’ fast. 2. Stamina. Anyone who saw Luke Evans decimate hundreds of troops in Dracula Untold knows he doesn’t tire. 3. Supernatural power trumps ETs and science. Suoerman is the most powerful alien in the DC universe but the right magic can put him down for the count. And Dracula is an ancient , ‘Omega level’ demon with mind manipulation powers, who can move between inter-dimensional planes. This was quite entertaining (and well done) but isn’t even close.

And yes, even if Dracula doesn't have a body temperature ( which he might, especially if he just fed), the Yautja could see him if his IR vision is powerful enough. As long as Dracula is moving, he's going to create air friction and heat. If he inhales to talk, his breath will be a different temp than the outside air. The only way the Yautja would not see him is if he stands completely still and his body temp is the same as his surroundings. But as soon as he moves, the Yautja will see something.
And besides, if the Yautja knew what he was fighting, wouldn't he be prepared? As any Batman fan(WHICH I AM NOT) would tell you, prep is eveything.
