Alright ladies and gentlemen is this video we're going to be taking a look at Taipan-4FR, the New Free God Roll Bungie Secretly released with Destiny 2 Season 18 Season of Plunder. We're going to be looking at the Taipan God Roll and Best Perk to Craft. Also going to be be looking at How To Get Taipan and the Taipan quest. Taipan is one of the Best Power/Heavy Weapons in Destiny 2 especially for Solo Players and New Players. It might even be better than Stormchaser. Enjoy!

Note; you can pair Ionic Battery with Backup Mag to get 7 in the magazine. That’s 10 shots with Triple Tap before seeing if Veist Stinger procs and 2 extra chances to proc it.
Enhanced battery better also why run backup mag when boss spec is literally a free 7.5% damage buff
@@thatonenoob1050 because it's free ammo and the jump from 9 to 10 is a 11.11% of increase. Only ionized with backup will give you 7 ammo base to work with

I heard it’s a visual bug while crafting - as far as I know, it’s still only 6 in the mag with Ionic Battery. Source: Ekuegan and my experience with the raid linear fusion

I have Stormchaser with Rapid Hit/Firing Line and it was my best DPS weapon on Warpriest and Oryx, but because this new weapon is void, my Voidlock might appreciate it...A LOT!
Crafted two of them with enhanced perks. One for my solo runs and one with when I'm with friends.
Also this liner rifle comes with veist origin perk and Will automatically reload this weapon from reserve's making this weapon top tier for dps imo. Same as reeds regret but now we have a void burn one for free if you count out the materials needed for crafting this weapon.

Only done duality once, so i will not be grinding Stormchaser for sure, this was the best thing that could arrive. I'm on controller the best barrel is the one with handling? Not range? How about masterwork? Should be handling aswell?
Have a clown / firing line storm, but crafting this one too. Good to have a void god roll along with arc… oh and there is Reed’s too….

I was using taipan on oryx when wiped on 1% health final stand and I had 4.2 million damage with it. Thing is absolutely busted
its funny. i happened to get both a godroll of the ammit and the taipan from the quest alone. i bagged a clown cartridge/firing line. might still level the crafted one but also might just focus that time to other things...
Mine dropped with triple tap and frenzy. Looking forward to this.

what frame should i build the tiapan with?
I find with stormchaser it's a little inconsistent with precision damage because of the 3 burst recoil unless you got a div or an ogre boss. Taipan is 100% my DPS main now.
What is the best MW for this?
I have a god roll storm chaser (clown/frenzy) and it’s still worth crafting taipan just for the void damage
The quest at the Relic Conduit is not appearing for me. What am I/ have I done wrong?
I got mine as a drop, without shaping one
Note just doing the quest gives you the pattern doing the deepsights dont matter
Don’t have a god roll storm but 3 decent ones with rapid vorpal, auto firing line, and clown frenzy but still grinding tapin

To be clear, if you have a godroll trials LFR, use that, it's much easier to proc stasis damage boost when a mate pops super with supreme wellmaker. This is for if you are playing alone in any other activity, or you don't have anyone with supreme wellmaker
One thing to note is that Taipan allows you to run a void subclass and still benefit from font of might. Generally mobius quiver, ward of dawn, and nova bomb are preferred over their stasis equivalents. It is more work to get the void elemental well, but you do have a higher potential if you do get it.

Any consideration for field prep? I couldnt find anything good on google for tripletap vs fieldprep

Triple tap is flat out better because you don't need to reload EVER if you hit your crits. With field prep you'll have to completely rely on Veist stinger to proc (procs quite often actually) to avoid reloading. If you're comfortable with landing crits and plan to whip the gun out for champions/bosses go for triple tap, if not go for clown or field prep. I crafted the triple tap/frenzy roll for solo play and it's extremely potent.

While this linear isn’t the best in terms of DPS ( that goes to Cataclysmic or Stormchaser ) it’s good to have one of each element or burns and font of might. This is also one of the best linear for solo/casual play
Stormchaser isnt really better than any other linear since they nerfed it, the one advantage it has atm is that its arc, assuming you want to run an arc subclass

Honestly can't see it as a "nerf" since it wasn't supposed to fire that fast in the first place. If it's fire rate wasn't bugged out. Then nobody would have the issue.
Im Kinda liking it over my storm chasers least for now.
Its higher than both and is only beat out by reeds bc font is way easier to proc
Went there on all my characters I received weapons but none had red boarded and didn't get any quest
Also, if you decrypt an unfinished red border you still get it counted toward the pattern right?

actually stormchaser is in line with other LFRs
And for some reason the quest is bugged for me. Did 2 red border auto rifles got its pattern yes, but also only got 1 taipan red border which I completed but dont hv the other taipan red border yet. And my other quest at enclave is not asking to do Dares but legendary campaign to get tht new crafting golfball material. This game is so broken this week.
Idk if this beats my God roll firing line clown cart adept reeds regret but it's a solid hit.

most definitely because it can roll with Firing Line (25% damage increase) or Frenzy (15% damage increase) which does more damage than vorpal on heavy weapons (which is only a 10% damage increase)
@@sincerecook FL is 20%, but you are correct. I’d prefer this one for group content with void burn, but the Vorpal Needle for solo content.

I like having different elements, so I’m still gonna try for Stormchaser. Albeit, at a casual pace
No point, an arc linear fusion is one of the seasonal weapons, Sailspy Pitchglass, can roll with similar perks to Stormchaser
Still a great gun to have for sure. Still trying for my 5/5 :/

I honestly go with Frenzy over firing line, sense firing line likes to bug out and not procc for me a lot in raids.
People sleep on Field Prep. The extra reserves + extreme fast reload and stow speed while crouched make this gun far better for total damage and ammo economy than trippletap and Clown cartridge.
The 1st red border to drop for me was FP and FL with accelerated coils. And a reload MW. I'm not crafting shit. Lol. I love FP on all guns.
No one sleeps on field prep lol just not ideal when you have perks to extend the magazine life
Keep in mind, triple tap generates ammo from thin air making it a top tier choice & better than Clown caritage IMO.

It’s not better than storm chaser or cataclysmic, it’s equally as good but it’s void which is what matters. Get one of each gun and you can use font of might and have a top tier dps option being buffed even more, I’ll be using literally whichever matches my subclass the guns are all practically identical in dps output so mods are all that matter now

Stability for me, to help with flinching. No point in taking reload speed if you're on triple tap because you'll probably have to reload less (or won't have to).

Personally my favorite roll has to be triple tap/focused fury, although for non solo players I recommend triple tap/firing line
Nope. Two adept nightfall is a level. It is much faster than going through all that. Below level 15 it's %60 completion per run. Above 15 slowly works it's way down to %50. Not went above level 20 yet
2 nightfalls = about 20mins.

I had a quest of similar nature there but in the end it just gave an ascendant alloy and boom gone no more quest. Not sure what is up with it.

I like Focus Fury but it just works better when you have overflow as a perk option.

Bruh, really? Not even gonna mention Focused Fury, but you DO mention Frenzy? Come on, man.
Frenzy on boss weapons are not it. Usually there's some kind of pause before the damage phase gets going, and Frenzy tends to run out. Focused Fury is a higher damage bump, AND it's literally only the first two or three shots to activate, then you just keep re-proccing and it never runs out. I like Frenzy on primaries for harder content, but otherwise it's just always too finnicky imo.
Personally I like focused fury a bit more than firing line just because it’s also a nice 20 percent buff that can activate while playing solo
This was made for casual/lazy players us OG's know what's up when it comes to max DPS rolls.
If the boss says “immune” when you shoot them you can do that and keep frenzy going
I think ill just stick with my godroll adept reeds considering i can stick adept big one on it
