Arriving early awareness month has started
You can farm deepsight BxR WAY EASIER if you have a character that has not completed the initial dares of eternity quest. Wallah made a video on it, just grab the quest, complete the first step (obtaining one treasure key from dares of eternity) and dismantle the quest. Then every time you open the chest at Xur’s treasure hoard you are guaranteed a BxR because the game has not registered that you finished the next step (opening a chest)

Already loved this thing in PvP. Incandescent for PvE puts me into a realm of hype not easily described.
I have one with incandescent and its pretty underwhelming since ignitions dont really do enough damage. kinda reminds me of the old firefly. weak as fuck.

@@ThaBootyBandit Ignitions are only really for add clear. But they're really good at that and you can vleave off a boss by scorching the boss with abilities while you use single target DPS on it and clear the adds.
@@Frosthowl93 not in end game content. for other content youre better off using a smg, auto or a scout. i love this gun but its just not potent enough.

I'm probably only going to craft one for PvP. It's a GREAT pulse for PvE, but for ad clear I'd rather use my Ammit AR2, 450rpm Omolon auto rifle. imo it's a little better in PvE since it has more killing potential due to ambitious assassin getting the magazine to 80-90.
Personally I don't really use legendary pulse rifles in PvE for killing, so I'll use them as more of a "tool" by using adaptive munitions on them.
i just crafted one with kill clip for pvp and been using it in pve, it works surprisingly well even in master content
@@jonahbrown5669 I've been trying Ammit for pve but it just doesn't kill stuff in master content, especially at range.
If you have sunbracers and a decent solar build, craft it with pugilist and incandescent on PVE and you'll melt everything in sight
One note about incandescent - any enemies killed by the scorch/ignites spread by your BXR will proc pugilist/demolitionist, so that combo specifically will be unlike anything we've had access to before.

I have a God Roll on the original BXR & I'm absolutely in love with it! The fact it can be Crafted with Incandescent essentially makes what was already a weapon walking the Exotic line, Enhanced Perks literally make the BXR better than A LOT of Exotic Weapons currently available!
I commented something similar on another video & a guy said a Bungie Dev had mentioned on the Firing Range Podcast they ARE going to go through the Elemental Exotics & start adding traits that pair with 3.0 Subclasses which will be great! Until then? There's a few updated Weapons on my to do list! A lot of them from Dares haha.
Eye of the Storm is such a great feeling on this weapon. But yeah Incandescent on an unstoppable weapon is going to make this a workhorse this season
Why incandescent on an unstoppable weapon may I ask? Is there a secrer interaction?
@@haroldpham6693 solar 3.0 has proven to be the top tier subclass for end-content, and unstoppable is pretty prevalent this season. Plus it fits in perfectly to let you run an Arbalest in the top slot. It’s just a weapon that synergies really nicely with the seasonal strategies.
I crafted 2 simply to have a PvE and PvP version. It's too expensive to keep switching.
I'll still take my adaptive munitions omga any day over... probably any pulse in existence in any match made game for end game pve. Bxr is worth the grind to me only for its abilities pvp wise.
So far I only have my pve roll crafted. Demo and incandescent. But been running it with Calibans in control and it's disgusting. I like the feel of the gun at base. But the perk combination just keeps the engine going for the wombo combo. And the random collateral kills are always fun.
Imagine you being able to further level your weapon to be able to add enhanced perks like cross wishes, but the way we level allows to add the trait inside of the weapon like some of the ritual weapons. Even if we wanted to be perfectionist and get all of them on one gun (doubt bungie would allow) but be able to add 2-3 more per column. That way we can swap perks inside of activities like maps in pvp, or strikes etc. Wish list i guess

Incandescent is amazing on the new auto and pair it with ambitious assassin, you have an amazing gun for PVE.
does anyone know how incandescent changed this season? I believe Bungie said they were tweaking it slightly, it doesn't feel the same to me
@@akurei4532 Kinda noticed that as well on my Calus Mini Tool. It has improved Incandescent and for some reason, it does not seem like it's hitting the same. IDK.
I absolutely love the BXR, especially being able to hip fire with little penalty. can't wait to farm for the red borders
FYI there is a cheese for the BXR right now: short version is get a character that hasn't done the Dares of Eternity entry quest. Take it from Xur, it advances to step 2. Abandon the quest. Now each key you use to open the spoils results in a BXR. Pull 5 BXR red borders and craft it.

Anyone reading this. Confirmed works. Every single key is the BXR 55. Can finally craft mine. I got all the treasure keys on my Warlock and turned them in on the fresh new titan i made.
I had two red frames for this just sitting in the vault, and to my surprise, they actually gave me progress on the pattern. They'd been in there for a while, long before they told us that they would become craftable this season.
Thanks for this super complete breakdown. I dont find value in vids where people just say these are the best because I like them. I try every roll I can and test them versus each othef and Ive been doing these since Plunder dropped and couldnt make up my mind what to craft because a lot of rolls are great.
This would be a great backup for my melee focused arc 3.0 titan build. Right now I rock witherhoard and the arc shield.
I have a killing wind/rangefinder roll that I got when the 30th anniversary first came out, has almost max handling too and just feels so so good to use.

I main two BXR currently. Demolitionist/adrenaline junkie in Pve and a perpetual motion/kill clip roll in pvp. Definitely going to grind for one with enhanced versions of PM/KC.
My first BXR that dropped when Dares was added was one with demo and blunt execution rounds. Can't wait to try and craft a new one with the new perks
I do have a perp/kill clip roll already, but not a 5 out of 5. I'm really kicking myself for cashing in all my strange coins before this season started
I went with heating up and kill clip, the extra accuracy from heating up whilst hipfiring is awesome
I have two older roles of this weapon which I both absolutely love: snapshot (on both) one with eye of the storm and the other with kill clip. Absolute beast and can’t wait to craft my mega enhanced god roll

pugilist BXR also feels great in both PvE and PvP if you're a melee heavy build. I want one for my stasis warlock as BXR procs off of melee hit not kill, allowing you to freeze one guy, laser another, then one shot the frozen guy with an uncharged melee, then you get melee energy from pugilist lasering guy 2 and it gets insane handling from killing guy 1, allowing you to swap if needed.
I can't wait to get the blunt rounds and perpetual motion perks. It's so powerful on arc 3.0
I really love this gun, got a decent roll and good stats and running it with osteo striga in the Crucible with a full auto retrofit feels really nice, got 24 kills and I'm hoping soon I can craft it
It took me 70+ Dares games this season to get all red borders. But im actually happy that i crafted both Pardon our Dust and BXR to the perfection.

Rocking freehand grip mod on my BXR with this perk setup (with enhanced traits) and I feel unstoppable sometimes. All I’m missing is a craftable Wastelander shotgun.
Got mine crafted yesterday as well. Being able to craft Arrowhead break is so good. Never got a good one witj Arrowhead break last season.
Every build video I'm amazed at how little in-game info we have about what perks do.
I love this pulse, I know a lot of people like to talk smack about it but honestly the other options that are this good and this exact frame are exotics.
I want whatever the people talking smack about this pulse are smoking. This is in an entirely different league of its own for only being a legendary pulse even before it was craftable and gained an origin trait

@@DarkPyroZero my comment it coming from a guy with an outlaw, rampage chattering bone with 5000 kills on it collectively from pve and pvp Bxr trounces it and I usually don't like comparing weapons in different slots
Edit - only kinetic 450s that can compete with bxr in performance are the exotics
I got a demo incandescent roll and it shreds in PVE. Can’t wait to get the crafter version.
I got a pugilist BERounds roll and it greatly increase the freedom of using your melee ability whenever. Used your melee on a dreg far away from the rest of the ads? Kill an orange bar with the BER buff and a couple red bars and its back up really quickly thanks to pugilist.
Got a perpetual motion and eye of the storm roll back when dares first came out and just only recently dusted it off, man it is so good omg thing is cracked.
Gotta love Incandescent is now a perk on this and some of the other DoE weapons. Now all need is more Volt Shot perks on the Arc weapons.
Just got my pattern for The Other Half. Enhanced eager edge for skating is really nice. Plus you can do enhanced Relentless and whirlwind/Vorpal
I had been grinding dares repeatedly for deepsights of the BXR.
After 75 runs, finally unlocked it. Already knew what roll was going to be my personal god roll, and had a normal version of said roll I used like religion. After I crafted it, and took it into Crucible to level up, I realized the roll on the last 2 perks I started with made the weapon an absolute monster.
That roll: Heating up / Eye of the Storm.
I feel like I can't miss once I get rolling.
If you are using Incandescent make sure you use the enhanced version as it deals more damage, it’s crazy!
Lucked out and had a couple rangefinder snapshot sights with ranged masterworks on mine. That and nightwatch with explosive rounds and outlaw is my favorite pvp loadout

Wow this weapon is a beast! I finally got my crafted. It is really quite amazing
I think I'll probably still prefer my Calus MiniTool for PvE unless I really want the extra range of the BXR or need a pulse for champion content, mostly because the MiniTool still shreds adds and I put Unrelenting on mine. That said, since that build also runs the healing grenade, Grenadier performs a similar function so who really knows.
I got the god roll before it being crafted and I loved the bug of putting adept mods onto those sorts of weapons because I have adept range on that thing

I have a BXR in my vault with hammerforged, Ricochet rounds, snapshot & rangefinder with a range masterwork. Might have to give it a go in the crucible.
Im sad to hear they removed Snapshot off of it because it felt absolutely amazing on the bxr

I got two old rolls of this gun the first one has range finder and outlaw and the second one has snapshot sights with kill clip
With arrowhead brake on what mod would you suggest slapping on? The Hip Fire one? Sprint Grip? Icarus?

I didn't know that incandescent was added to the bxr. That's just one more reason for me to still love solar the most.
This is actually something that I don't feel like I absolutely need to craft seeing as how I got some really good randomly rolled drops [PM/RF | OL/KC | KW/AJ] back when Dares initially came out.
I might still craft it though for INCAN for PvE. Are Pulse Rifles even a good option in PvE?

I'm currently crafting my 3rd BXR. I have a PvP one with enhanced Heating up + Kill Clip, a Heating up + Eye of the Storm, and a PvE Demolitionist + Kill Clip roll.

I big brained my grind and started saving redbox Dares weapons as soon as the API showed enhanced perks for them.
I dismantled my old God roll (Arrowhead, Accurized, Demolitionist, Rangefinder with a stability MW) because getting enhanced perks makes this thing SO damn good. I don't mind losing a couple meters on range when enhanced Perpetual Motion and Eye of the Storm offer so many benefits and consistency.
Kept my Demo+Adrenaline Junkie roll though!

The first 30 year weapon crafting I unlocked was, I shit you not, the other half. It was the only one I ever did the red box quest for when I got them in seasons past lol.

cross, could you talk about crafted wastelander M5? I crafted one myself with small bore, accurized round, enhanced slideshot, enhanced opening shot and range masterwork. Then I checked gunsmith website and accidentally found the damage falloff cap at 7m.
I am confused: is all the range benefit from slideshot, opening shot and masterwork all got dump into that pit of 7m damage falloff cap? Should I invest more on handling? Please show me the light. Love your video.

The gun that got me my first 7th alone without team damage. And is the first crafted gun that I have two copies of. So excited I got all 5 red borders with the "cheese" because screw doing a million Dares and praying.

I'm glad I saved the demolitionist/adrenaline junkie roll I got in week 2 of the 30th Anniversary event. I've racked up over 30k PvE kills on it and it's definitely staying locked in my inventory. The only roll I'm interested in crafting is demo/incandescent.

I’ve got two great rolls before they removed some of the perks. Both my PVP and PVE have ranged master works. PVP: Perpetual Motion Range finder. PVE: Demolitionist Adrenaline Junkie.
Man I have this exact roll and it is NASTY. It carried my average ass to the lighthouse twice. Glad that I can craft a PVE version and not feel like I'm missing out. I also had a snapshot sights / rangefinder roll and sharded it #feelsbadman
As soon as I found it was craftable I got to grinding. I went demolitionist, kill clip, flared mag well, and chamber comp. Reload faster, to get kill clip faster, to get grenade energy faster. Paired with arc 3.0 nade build.
Hey. Whats the thoughts on new titan gauntlets. I personally think they are not worthy of the exotic spot. Synthoceps are so much more useable
I just returned to Destiny after leaving during Shadowkeep. I got a BXR Battler to drop and I loved it immediately. The name is an Easter Egg from the Halo 2 MLG days. Awesome stuff.

Luckily I had saved three of these red box bxrs and a few other red box weapons just for topping up my neutral element before this season, they actually gave progress for crafting which was nice.
Personally I use the “Prime Palette” shader.
It looks nearly identical to the original battle rifle colors.
I'm honestly glad the Gambit Momento looks as good as it does because it's the only one that seems to drop for me. I've gotten a good dozen or so Gambit Momentos to drop but not a single Trials or Vanguard Momento to do so lmao
Do you know that if you get a few non red border legendaries before turning your keys, you can significantly increase the chance of getting a red border weapon from the chest? It has something to do with the bad luck protection system for red borders. I got 4 wastelanders in under 2 hours using this method.

I had an OG BXR with perpetual/BER from when dares first launched. Just crafted it yesterday after getting all the red boxes and I was thinking about Pugilist/BER? Seems like an interesting combo but idk because perpetual motion is goated.
I have a gut-shot roll on the Out of Bounds smg, it's definitely noticeable.
