Hehehe. Why on earth would you see one of my videos and decide to watch another one LOL. I have a hard time watching them simply because I am critical and see only the flaws LOL but also sucks to look back and see how much I’ve aged over just the last 2 yrs haha. But.. chatting with others and realizing I actually sometimes help someone... can feel really good. 😁
@@n8nomad419 lol...you need to make more videos...I will be done watching all of them very soon. Can you do a questions & answers video because I have so many questions about van life😀👍
I’d love that. Absolutely. Make a thorough list of questions and I’ll answer them the best and most thorough I can (and post the video within the week).
Feel free to email me the list of questions. n8nomadvanlife@gmail.com And I don’t care how many (50-80) questions or how ridiculous or complicated. I’ll answer all of them or find the answers.
@@n8nomad419 thank you so much...that would be so helpful! I am looking to try van life in the future and I am trying to prepare myself as best I can😀👍
Part of the exhaustion is the steering wheel and pedal. I've had some gnarly tense muscles from driving all day. It's also just having your brain be constantly on. Watching a movie allows us to just experience, but when driving, we have to pay nearly perfect attention, and doing that is brutal for hours upon hours. I find that hour 6 is where I could do with a nice self driving vehicle.
I feel like you’re right. Maybe it’s the constant tension on my arm and neck muscles that make me tired. Or that I do it so much more than most people LOL.
how r those sprinter vans climbing gravelly mountain roads and icy winter roads? im in nh and have a jeep. thinking of just using a toy-hauler trailer as 'tiny house' until my trusty old jeep finally poops out. but them sprinter vans look cozy
I’m actually driving a Dodge Ram Promaster 2500.. but I test drove the Sprinter as well. It’s all about how heavy it is honestly. My Promaster is 3,600 pounds fully loaded and goes up steep mountains very easily and it’s only a V6 engine. But some people build their van extremely heavy and would have trouble going up hills. But even a light weight van that’s well built will be hell driving on any “bumpy” road because it’s a literal EARTHQUAKE happening inside the home. So my suggestion (no matter which van you buy) make sure you build it as “light weight” and “strong” as possible and going up steep mountains will be easy 😁
Please feel free to ask any questions as all. No matter how obscure. I’ve been living this full time for over 2 1/2 yrs and built everything myself. If I can help in any way at all.. let me know.
You’re doing the best you can do I applaud you. I am fortunate that I only work in the winter when I wrap him in little jackets and he huddles under the thick blankets. I also use my remote start to occasionally warm the van. Otherwise I just plug in at a relatives house or live in colder climates. It was tough before my van was paid off and I had to do the same thing you’re doing. I feel you.
Hi how are you ? Glad you posted today oh by the way less bugs in California you should think of driving down here for a trip . Nice to see and Bobby 👍💜🇺🇸
Trucks may not need the bathrooms if there’s no human anymore. But cars will. And if there’s a “conversion kit” for my van... I can use my own or just play video games 😉
I used to drive city bus and it was mentally exhausting. Even tho I wasn’t doing anything but driving, I would get home after my shift and just be exhausted. Driving is very mentally draining. Especially when driving for hours at a time.
Too funny...I like the way you think👍😂 Yes, I am binge watching your videos...good stuff!

Nate, if you like a mystery the Chet and Bernie mysteries are unbeatable. Narrated by the dog, Chet. Hysterical.
Awesome! I appreciate the referral.
I’m downloading the one called (The Dog who knew too much) as my next book. Thanks again for the series recommendation 😁
Hells yeah I use that squeegee to wash the vehicle /when/ it's not so filthy that it just makes the vehicle worse.
LOL

@@n8nomad419 You'd benefit lots from stretching. Everyone would, but extended driving warrants lots of stretching.
I also keep forgetting to look into one of those back support things.

How do you maintain the right temp when Bobby is alone? I've left the car on and air going but not sure if that's legal

And it gets exponentially more exhausting each hour after about the 4 hr mark. Especially in traffic.
