Pacland was always a game I wanted to play for years it's a shame the versions of Namco museum I grew up with never had it
Yeah same, never got to experience Pac-Land until Pac-Man Museum came out.
Crazy how it took until adult life to finally play it, lol.
If they have a never before look of "Motos" and "Ralley-X" NES graphics and gameplay then that would be interesting to see.
Old timer chiming in here. A lot of the questions you kind of threw out are answered in that there was actually a Saturday morning cartoon based on Pac-Man and this game is based on that cartoon. A lot of the visuals (and the music) reference things from the cartoon.
Pac-Land looks really fun. I don’t really have any other way of playing it, so I’m definitely buying the Vol. 2 collection while it’s on sale.
Great video! The controls took me a little to get used to also. I love the arcade version of Pacland so much so I'm glad I finally got to try the NES/Famicon port now.

Now that was interesting to watch. And just so you know, I'm very familiar with the game Xevious. It was an extra for Star fox assault. Aside from that, it's always a joy watching you play a Pac-Man game.

Not to dissapoint you about namco museum archives 1 and 2 BUT these are the nes ports of the games they couldve given us the actuall arcade roms i feel like anyone's who buys these get ripped off but if you like the collections then thats fine
The first game to include Power-Ups and the first side scroller platformer (or at least Famciom ports of them)
I already knew pacman Galaga and dig dug were on NES, but NOT THE OTHER NAMCO GAMES
dragon buster sounds kinda cool I have no idea what it is and would like to see it
So I played Pac-land and went as far as it would let me. You go so far and then the game takes you back to round one. Your score remains intact though. It was still a fun game, nonetheless.
