I listened to this album nonstop when it came out, the hate for it is absolutely ridiculous, the album cover is the culprit . I think the haters actually never listened to it,.mostly far out there slayer fans, I love slayer but the wackos fuck em, anyway perpetual motion is the hidden gem here, take my word for it and the lyrics are killer too. Great album not their best, I think that the last two actually are right up there wit sound , among , and time, but stomp is a good listen for sure, peace.and rock on
I'm embarrassed I never heard this song I'm thinking one I seriously I never heard so embarrassed I'm so fucking embarrass I don't normally cuz but I will cuss I 51 I like this group a lot of them when I when I was teenager
Stomp 442 was the better of the 2, I never understood the hype surrounding White Noise, it was their biggest selling album which made no sense to me. Volume 8 actually WAS pretty bad though
Who the fuck says that Sound of White Noise isn’t killer??? That album absolutely proved to me that Anthrax was getting better and better, and although I loved Joey in the band, that John was perfect for their new era.
Bought this the day it came out on cassette and c.d., cause my car had a cassette player back then. Saw them and the Misfits on this tour up here in Minneapolis. I've always loved this band no matter the line up changes. Metal..🤟🤟🤟
I've always felt I was was the only one who adored this era, these comments have given me confidence. Terrible management and marketing, this album had KILLER tunes: king sized, riding shotgun, In a zone, grunt & click, bare etc
I absolutely agree. With JBush, in my mind, they were the best metal band out there. They were heavy, they quit rapping, their songwriting and production were awesome - yet they still had melody. Frankly, I'm glad John has dismissed them - we can hope for an Armored Saint reunion ... that'd be awesome!
Volume 8 and We've Come for you All had half an albums worth of decent songs between the 2 of them. Ian was a riff genius, seems like he just ran out of ideas in the late 90s. Listen to SOD's 2 albums and you can definitely hear the difference
I'd say the music and general songwriting was better during the Belladonna albums, but Bush's vocals and the lyrics he did make me like all his albums better. This song kicks ass
The Bush era albums were by far their weakest metal, with not much of a thrash sound to them, ironically, the best album with Bush was "Greater of 2 evils" I think.
Good song & vid. John Bush rules and so do Anth rax on the albums with him on vocals. Shame he's not in the band now but at least there are 4 fine albums (plus the re recorded best of thing) to listen to. I like some of the older stuff like among the living but Bush owns Belladonna even on the older songs live.
Its funny how songs seem to find you for instance had a shit day get home and am scrolling thru UA-cam and this comes up. 'It doesn't seem to matter, there's nothing' rings true right now.
@mhagan Actually, most of the solos were played by Paul Crook on this album. Dime played 2 and a half, Charlie played a couple and some harmony leads, and Scott did some various squeals and things. But the main lead guitarist was Paul.
THis and only rock out. THose shots of the cow trying to head bang crack me up. Read and sincerely believe 1 corinthians 15 1-4; GOspel of Grace, for true salvation. Faith plus nothing. NO works. The Holy SPirit makes us better once we are truly saved. AMen!!
actually the album features solos by paul crook dimebag plays the solos on i believe king size and riding shotgun and charlie plays this solo and a few others
John Connolly, Dirk Kennedy , Jason Rosenfeld, Neil Turbin, Matt Fallon, Joey Belladonna, John Bush, and Dan Nelson, so that's 8 singers, but the 4 main ones were Neil Turbin, Joey Belladonna (who's the current singer), John Bush, and Dan Nelson
@dgarrr2 this is the only commercial song on the CD...please give a listen to the remainder of the CD especially "Tester" - Anthrax's response to grunge!
nice one! even though it's not the best anthrax album, I agree with you. it kicks ass! it's kind of like megadeth's risk album. not a good megadeth album, but a great one either way!
Agree. This and only rock. Read and sincerely believe 1 corinthians 15 1-4; GOspel of Grace, for true salvation. Faith plus nothing. NO works. The Holy SPirit makes us better once we are truly saved. AMen!!
John Bush is probably the greatest metal vocalist ever. Anthrax screwed him, now, they want him back, guess what - he's not going. With Bush on vocals, Anthrax (along w/ Overkill) had become THE best metal band out there. Just listent to the 4-discs they put out - heavy yet melodic, no rap shit, great production and songwriting.
The first time I watched this video awhile back, I was laughing because it looks low budget. I never thought that 'that' Anthrax made this video. I mean... It could be better. Way better. But still amusing, I guess.
You're talking about 1 song and probably the most commercial song of the John Bush era! You need to pit songs like "Only" or "Inside Out" against your early Anthrax!!!
that's just a rumor... let's see what happens next. the follow up to "W.C.F.Y.A" HAS to kick ass.. and there's a shit load of singers out there that can do the job. but it would be great if bush or belladonna were there, though.. and dan spitz on guitar! that would kick ass..
"Random Acts Of Senseless Violence", "Fueled" & "Nothing" are the best songs on "Stomp 442". Massively underrated Anthrax album.
Bare has always been my favorite. SO good, especially when it really kicks in at the end! But Fueled and Nothing are AMAZING too!
Great album not their best, I think that the last two actually are right up there wit sound , among , and time, but stomp is a good listen for sure, peace.and rock on
Don't forget Bare,Poison My eyes and the Album "sound of white noise" and bigger of two devils"
In a Zone is Awesome too and of course Riding Shotgun which they have Dimebag as a guest Guitar player
“Busy going crazy over whose knife’s in your back.” Always loved that line!
Anybody that says White Noise and Stomp werent killer records is fucking high as a kite!!
I don't take drugs and I can still confidently say that those albums are steaming piles of horseshit.
I'm embarrassed I never heard this song I'm thinking one I seriously I never heard so embarrassed I'm so fucking embarrass I don't normally cuz but I will cuss I 51 I like this group a lot of them when I when I was teenager
Long way from Lone Justice
Stomp 442 was the better of the 2, I never understood the hype surrounding White Noise, it was their biggest selling album which made no sense to me. Volume 8 actually WAS pretty bad though
Who the fuck says that Sound of White Noise isn’t killer??? That album absolutely proved to me that Anthrax was getting better and better, and although I loved Joey in the band, that John was perfect for their new era.
This is the first Anthrax song that I have ever heard. Made me buy the Stomp 442 album.
Not a single killer song in that list 💀
I absolutely agree. With JBush, in my mind, they were the best metal band out there. They were heavy, they quit rapping, their songwriting and production were awesome - yet they still had melody. Frankly, I'm glad John has dismissed them - we can hope for an Armored Saint reunion ... that'd be awesome!
Stomp 442 deserved better luck. Better than most Anthrax material after that album.
Volume 8 and We've Come for you All had half an albums worth of decent songs between the 2 of them. Ian was a riff genius, seems like he just ran out of ideas in the late 90s. Listen to SOD's 2 albums and you can definitely hear the difference
Best Anthrax song on the best album, love Scottie's solo with the stop switch, I love that guitar. I do miss John.
The solos were recorded by charlie the drummer, how awesome is that
John Bush's lyrics are at another level.
Thanks for sharing. I had no idea they created a video for this song - Love it!!!
Even though it doesn't have that Anthrax sound to it, I really like this!
I'd say the music and general songwriting was better during the Belladonna albums, but Bush's vocals and the lyrics he did make me like all his albums better. This song kicks ass
Anthrax w/ John Bush ... ass-kicking!!!! Stomp 442 totally underrated.
i agree, anthrax kicks ass, no matter what album- it's always amazing.
I don't know why but It seems that I like the albums Bush did versus Belladonna.....
Justin LeClair Cos' Bush is better. That simple.
The Bush era albums were by far their weakest metal, with not much of a thrash sound to them, ironically, the best album with Bush was "Greater of 2 evils" I think.
Justin LeClair I like Joey but I'd listen to the Bush era any day!
Bush's voice fits in the mix a little better....Belladonna's vocals always seemed to sit on top of it
@@trepathy1 agreed
One of the best tracks from their grunge phase
Anthrax being grunge? Lol
It is groove metal for me.
here in milwaukee at miller park, there's section 442 and i think of this album everytime im in the section.
Love it.. john bish rocks
Good song & vid. John Bush rules and so do Anth
rax on the albums with him on vocals. Shame he's not in the band now but at least there are 4 fine albums (plus the re recorded best of thing) to listen to. I like some of the older stuff like among the living but Bush owns Belladonna even on the older songs live.
Amazing song amazing album so underrated JON BUSH best 4 Anthrax
Thank you Anthrax.
Awesome song, awesome video, funny...
That's ANTHRAX
Its funny how songs seem to find you for instance had a shit day get home and am scrolling thru UA-cam and this comes up. 'It doesn't seem to matter, there's nothing' rings true right now.
John Bush is Amazing i hope he comes back with ANTHRAX because he is wicked amazing!! :)
@mhagan Actually, most of the solos were played by Paul Crook on this album. Dime played 2 and a half, Charlie played a couple and some harmony leads, and Scott did some various squeals and things. But the main lead guitarist was Paul.

stomp 442 def a unsung album for them one of my fav's fo' sho'!
actually the album features solos by paul crook dimebag plays the solos on i believe king size and riding shotgun and charlie plays this solo and a few others
Awesome song and video!
What can be said about Anthrax that hasn't been said already .. Hmm They Rock!!
442 was the one and only Album. Pressure!!!
Frank Bello and Mustaine are the last two long hair dudes on earth. Prove me wrong
Hell yeah 🤘🎸
“When you sole that cow & your friends tried to make it with the cow, I wanna party with you cowboy!” -Bill Murray
I love Anthrax but, until now, I'd never heard anything from Stomp 442. Good song.
I wish someone would post their cover of Watchin' You.
Great song :)
Took me 4 years to realize that the cow in this video has Anthrax..
John Bush is the man!!!!!!! go Anthrax and Armored Saint!!!!
pro mě nejlepší song anthrax!
Grundethrax sounds nice!
@dgarrr2 this is the only commercial song on the CD...please give a listen to the remainder of the CD especially "Tester" - Anthrax's response to grunge!
Never saw this video before, and actually thought it was a bit of trickery with the uploader swapping it with an Emo video till I recognized the song.
Great song, Bush is the man, video could be better though!
nice one! even though it's not the best anthrax album, I agree with you. it kicks ass! it's kind of like megadeth's risk album. not a good megadeth album, but a great one either way!
this chorus is so fucking good
Bush is so so so amazing
@jackwilsontube Charlie Benante IS Anthrax!
Grungethrax
Cool video Anthrax with J.Bush wrote great music!!!!
Great song. Anyone else see Faith no More in this?

;)yeeeeaaa...
super!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
me enamore inmediata mente de esta cancion cuando la escuche
@jaehaus maybe they should have made a video for 'Riding Shotgun' instead
Nothing says hard core rock and roll like shorts and black sneakers.
stomp 442 is horribly underrated. so are all bush records.
Agree. This and only rock. Read and sincerely believe 1 corinthians 15 1-4; GOspel of Grace, for true salvation. Faith plus nothing. NO works. The Holy SPirit makes us better once we are truly saved. AMen!!
Totally agree!
@zeusofhull Its not Anthrax now, it's Anthrax 90's. Now Anthrax's back as belladonna is...
especially sound of white noise. that one kicks ASS! it's far better than all f the belladonna stuff together.
Diff guy but I enjoyed this era of them will be a life long fan
I love this album, but I will never get why the producer made them wear Weezers clothes
Had nothing to do with the video producer... that's just how they dressed then.
Why this album is not in Spotify?????
It is silly...😅
For good reason
@GoreBastard well, that is true. as well as he did inside out on vol. 8 and a couple of songs on we've come for you all!!
Play this song at the Chicago Blackhawks home game
This Cow is completely innocent!
ah the bright and bubbly nineties!
that's right man, Anvil are far more underrated than Anthrax!
Jim Kerr on vocals :) !
DONT YOU FORGET ABOUT ME...NO NO NO DONT YOU FORGET ABOUT ME😅
The first time I watched this video awhile back, I was laughing because it looks low budget. I never thought that 'that' Anthrax made this video. I mean... It could be better. Way better. But still amusing, I guess.
how many lead singers did anthrax have im very new to anthrax need some facts
Since their formation, five, first one maybe doesn't count as he left before 1st demo was released.
John bush was wished for metallica to be the singer he s the guy Armored saint and Anthrax...john bush rules
You're talking about 1 song and probably the most commercial song of the John Bush era! You need to pit songs like "Only" or "Inside Out" against your early Anthrax!!!
This reminds me of Bad Religion. Even John Bush looks like Greg Graffin. Not sure if this is good or bad though.
the solo is of scott?
No, the solo played by the cow.
Джон Буш великолепен👍
that's just a rumor... let's see what happens next. the follow up to "W.C.F.Y.A" HAS to kick ass.. and there's a shit load of singers out there that can do the job. but it would be great if bush or belladonna were there, though.. and dan spitz on guitar! that would kick ass..
Oh my God, is this really Anthrax now, when was this released?
zeusofhull 1995
Is that Lulabell?
Scott is the only guitarist?
Paul Crook was doing some of the solos as well as Dimebag, Charlie played 2nd guitar, Scott did a couple of erm..."solos".
@@erasedv101 he actually was at the (short) time
I didn't know either, until I saw it. and I couldn't find it here, so I uploaded it;) fuckin' great song! \m/ go anthrax!
cows are the coolest animal ever...
@MrChilenoscio I was just about to write "grunge?" lmao
Er, maybe they were just moving with the times. Can't stay in the 1980's for ever.
cows got anthrax. I wonder if Topps got their beef from this dude
parece nu metal pero ta weno
y es anthrax no?
This video is not so good...But this is a great song, with a great Charlie Benante's guitar solo...
AT LEAST JOEY STILL HAS HAIR
👁️💛🤟
wow is that john bush?? he looks like a boy band singer lol
funny you spell nu-metal right and thrash wrong. especially since this is NOT nu. it's hard rock. and it sounds GREAT!
Personatly I like their stuff with Bush he is a great singer, but I prefer the stuff they did with Belladona.
you do realize that thrash evolved out of a combination of speed metal and hardcore punk right?
John Bush.Primaddona.....
LOL john looks like Brandon DiCamillo
