I don't know, I watched you plow snow last year and I thought you were doing as well this time. I was impressed with the traction. To me, it looked like it was just as good as being loaded. Little cubby doing a great job. See you soon.
My grandfather had a cub. Got to drive it once when I was about 10 and almost ran over my dad. Grandpa had a single bottom plow and sickle mower, don’t believe he had a snowplow for it. Never saw the plow on the cub but he did use the sickle mower a lot in the summer, mostly cutting the grass at the local park and baseball field. Don’t know what became of it after his death. You did a great job of plowing. My dad had a John Deere H with a homemade plow that we used. I love the old tractors, such simple tech knowledge.
Now you done made me jump again! That train had no business coming right through your yard and driveway! Definitely a jump-worthy scene of possible destruction and catastrophe!!! Loved seeing the ole red spin but not quit! I’m amazed as always! Red power rules!
Something about a 68 year old tractor out doing one of the jobs it was designed to do and doing it effortlessly . Thanks Gino ! “love the cub club” Maybe a T shirt lol 🇺🇸
Love the video. I had to do this a few years ago with my CaseIH, did my drive and the county road as well. The snow drifted up and closed the county road. My neighbor came out with his CaseIH. Looked good RED in the snow. Take Care.
The "Fitty Five" plowing snow....9 miles to town and back.... up hill both ways.... with NO chains(that means in its BARE FEET).... BOOOOOOOOM.......!!!
That is so impressive. Built 68 years ago and that efficient. I don't enjoy winter like I used to. It's not the snow, it's the cold. Tell us, climate change/global warming? Yes or no? Lol. Does a great job.
Nice plowing tractor…with no extra weight but only tire chains, my ‘52 Super C has 10” bolt on plow extensions to push a lot more snow than without chains. Enjoy!
Excellent video Gino :) for 1955 Farmall Cub with blade got set & I never use Cub or Blade on front ever and did loader tractor Desiel fuel with buckets ! But did use blade on back of gas Farmall no row crop and John Deere tractor gas row crop and my dad small and big Desiel fuel loaders with blade on back 3 years of home farm plus rent ones driveway because lots snow came in too ! Was task to do and push out toughness parts back !
When we were growing up we had a pull behind grader blade attached to an antique wagon. My dad would drive our Farmall and the boys would take turns on the grader adjusting the leveling of the blade. We froze our butts off. Then he bought us a Chevel, a snow Chevel!
The Cub always amazes me on its versatility with its size. I own one it handles all the tasks I ask of it. I love the train and the snow plow video this is my version of the hallmark channel for the holidays!
I made a 12" long wing for the left side of the blade because I got tired of spillage. Save me a lot of clean up time. It was mounted on a pipe inside of a locking collar and pipe so I could adjust height and angle and the main part was two pieces of rubber belting sandwiched over a steel bar. Would 100% do it again if I ever moved where I needed snow removal equipment.
The cub handled the snow ❄️ like a champ. Floating bucket is a must in my opinion. Amazingly there are some tractors that don’t offer that function as standard.

She ran smooth as a sowing machine . Oh dang 10 inches of snow already that would be a lot for us . That's about the most I have seen come down ever around that 8 or 10 inch mark and that was once or twice . I have seen where it drifted in areas that are deeper . Most years if we get snow it's 1 to 3 inches . We still get the dang cold though lol . Thanks for sharing !
Ya done good. In conversation with a big CNY farm operator, he said they add extra weights vs. loading tires. Much cheaper n easier fixing flats and a whole lot less wheel rim deterioration. Which brought back some memories of issues experienced with my 450 I'd acquired from a late neighbor's dispersal auction. He was the neighborhood go-to for fixes.... and there I learned again that the painter's house is always needing. . .. I swapped a Grove Super 10 from chassis too for a dealer for a set of those double ring chains... they work the nicest.... (for me). Trust Y'all had a nice Thanksgiving. Thanks for sharing. Hi from eastern Ontario Canada, and NO we don't have any accumulating snow yet, so no need to plow.Don't you have duals for that cub, and a carry-all for the back? Duals would give you more rubber on the ground for traction, and some cinder blocks on the carry-all to give that extra needed weight. Just a thought! Maybe the duals would make the track wider than the blade, would be interesting to measure it all out.
