Put a lot of time into this so appreciate any view, likes and comments on how to improve. Also, extra credit to anyone who can figure out why Coldheart died on stage 24. Can see builds in team setting section and how I added to her stats in builds. She was fine in every stage but 24. Only 6* awakened Coldheart was targeted but not the other. Comment if you figure it out as I would be fascinated to learn!
There must be something in programming that let's the boss target another hero if he thinks he can kill it. Doesn't happen often but happened to my CH on stage 25. Similar to CB changing the skill rotation under some circumstances
100% the 6* CH must have lower HP and had a decrease defense so the boss thought he could 1 shot her. The reason it doesnt happen on 25 is because the speed tune removes the debuffs before the boss gets a turn. Great set up though and very helpful
One part doesnt work for me. The rotation is fine with cleansing etc. BUT Paragon will put his a2 on the second in the team if Gnarlhorn still has UK up. Any way to fix this? Edit: Found the error, i put the wrong Paragon in the team (my Mr. Solo with much more speed ....).
Really this is probably the most thorough guide on this dungeon for the mid game/F2P player available on UA-cam. I have seem lots of teams from other CC’s but they are all full of gold and just breeze through the specs in a hurry to get on to the next video. Thank you so much for this video. I managed to use Gnarlhorn, Reliquary Tender, Paragon, Coldheart and Elhain. Like you, I had to manual it up through the levels and sub in other affinity DPSers to have them survive. How you walked through the levels 20-25 was incredibly helpful, then like you it just clicked on auto on 25. Take my thumbs up & thanks again!
Im yet to test out the team, im lvl Gnarhorn to 6* rn and gonna have to do the same with reliquary tender. I havent even touched SG yet, not even stage 1 so i hope the team can still work on manual all the way to stage 25 but from what i saw in this video i can safely say this is the best guide on YT, all the other CCs just do '' speed teams '' for 25 but forget that you have to climb to 25 FIRST! So i really appreciate all the effort you put on making this tutorial as clear as possible for everyone.
Thanks for the great feedback. Yeah, that exactly why I made this because so many people said they couldn’t get to 25 to use these teams. Don’t worry you can get to 25 once you build the team as I show how to manual the prior stages. My Paragon was only 5* and works fine if that saves you some time building.
@@Cortavius-pn2dz I managed to go all the way from stage 1 to stage 25 today but im having a problem on 25, at about midway run the unk buff from paragon is down and the boss is killing the gnarlhorn? do you know whats causing the problem?
@@jhonniekravchenko643 if it is working on the first few turns and failing later that would point to a TM or turn impact. I would look at masteries to make sure you don’t have ones that change turn meter or reduce skill cooldowns. Then gear like refresh, reflex, relentless, etc on paragon, cleanser or gnarlhorn. If you can’t find and need help can post builds to my discord and I can look.
@@Cortavius-pn2dz from what i can see from the failed runs apparently the problem is that Gnarhorn is going a little too fast so Paragon in not keeping up and the boss is cutting between the 2 and killing Gnarhorn while he have no unk buff. Their speeds are 176 - 179, ill try to make them at max 1 speed difference between each other and see if it works
@@jhonniekravchenko643 that top end is outside the range for paragon who has a narrow range. My gnarlhorn is 176 and paragon 175 both in the ranges I noted in the vid for each role. Have to be in the right range for each.
Finally i made it to lvl 25. I had to stuggle a bit on the way there, because shogun kept attacking my coldheart. so i had to use the unkillable of gnarlhorn on him and paragons unkillable on the coldheart until she healed up fully again. but that worked well, after i figured it out. Now on stage 25 the team works perfectly smooth without any issues on auto. Thanks a lot again.

Really great video, appreciate the amount of effort you put into this! You should do more content breakdown for other areas of the game, granted that's definitely easier said than done... I find not many other content creators are willing to go through how to get get past each of the earlier stages, nor provide enough tips that are "generalised" enough to handle a robust scenario, but are also specific enough to cover when you encounter niche scenarios. You've provided information and a guide that's really balanced and well thought out. Great work!

Finally got around to doing this (speeds from a different content creator) and have to say THANK YOU for the tip on coldheart's A2 if you have an enfeeble. Really helped my climb. Just a few thoughts for others trying to climb: 1. Use gnarlhorn's A3 if you only have 1 turn left on paragon's unkillable. Speedtunes at 25 will be different than when climbing. 2. Use CH's a2 if you have enfeeble. In general multi-hit skills are lava if you have enfeeble so be careful. 3. Be careful with any mastery/blessing which gives you an increase in speed, it can throw you off. If things aren't working, read every mastery and every blessing you are using. Just using phantom touch on the team will help. Also double check your builds (with sets) in the deadwood jedi calculator.
@@moneyninja3852 It adds a little damage. The most important thing is it doesn't hurt you at all. Having no downside and adding a bit of damage seems fine. You could choose another blessing but phantom touch is safe. Just double check your blessings is the most important thing. Then check again if things aren't working.
Works great, thank you. I use Battlesage (High Elves Void Epic) as cleanser, she also places an increase ATK buff for a bit more dmg than the Reliquary Tender I wanted to use first (her heal is not needed). One CH and one Royal Guard as DD (had 5 stars for him and only one CH with 2 stars, disable A3 on RG when he has high Acc). Run takes 2:40-2:50 minutes... non of my legendary cleansers has awakenings, so sadly no Brimstone for me... yet. A little tip for people who have problems with reaching stage 25... use 2 cleansers (different speeds) and 1 DD on manual. It's more likely that your champ with cleanse goes first after debuff, when you have 2 and 1 less champ that can increase the counter. Takes a bit longer but will bring you to Stage 25.
I'm definitely going to watch this a couple more times when I decide to take on the shogun. Hope to see more breakdowns like this for other areas of the game.
Thanks! If your champs have no awakenings at all then when they attack the boss, the boss's counter goes up. When the counter gets over 20 bad things start to happen. Over 40 and you die. The more stars your champs have, the more they reduce that counter when not weak hitting. That's why I covered the min number of stars you need. I hope that helped. (I didn't want to spend too much time on the boss mechanics because I knew I'd lose people's interest as the boss description is pages long.)

Great video. I climbed from 15-14 no problem. On 25 the boss kills my whole team on the hit right after the CH 2nd turn. Shade counter is low, cleaner has cleanser so they don’t have enfeeble. Not sure what goes wrong there but still a great video.
I’d have to see it but that sounds like the boss is targeting someone other than the dmg lead. Does boss kill an ally of Gnarlhorn first and then team dies? This happens if you haven’t hit the HP/def thresholds of the allies and the boss sees them as one shot killable. @@Cortavius-pn2dz I realized it was targeting my weaker coldheart(I think same issue you were having on 24?) Strange it worked all the way thru 24. I pumped some hp on and it seems ok now. But now at 285 speed Reliquary is cleansing early every other cleanse. On next free regear I’m going to mess with it. I also need to drop everyone’s crit dam and get gnarlhorn some more hp do the crit doesn’t kill him. I’ll watch thru the video again and get it sorted. Amazing vid. Would love a sand devil one. I just pulled Godseeker and can finally work on that dungeon.
@@tyweisenburger8480 before you regear make sure you don’t have a refresh acc, reflex/relentless or mastery like cycle of magic or TM increasing mastery ok reliquary. Any of those will cause what you are seeing and changing speed won’t help. If you are in my speed range for her, then speed isn’t your issue.
@@Cortavius-pn2dz zero masteries. Completely broken sets. But first cleanse is perfect, 2nd is barely early right before instead of after boss . If I manual it thru and get it back on track and put back on auto. The 2nd cleanse is off again. I’ve watched other videos and their speed matches yours, so it has to be something with mine. I need to rebuild the team anyways because gnarlhorn does if the first hit is a crit. So I need more hp so I’m gonna lose some crit which means I’ll have to drop my coldheart. Such a mess 😂 I was so close but so far away.
thanks a lot, was stuck at 25 after following ashe's vid. glad your speed ranges were more accurate (I just had to tweak bit of speed more following your ranges). Also like that the speed ranges were put big, so scrolling through 1hr vid can look for thumbnail where u gave the speed ranges. I burned a lot of energy and silver fixing this so thanks for ending the struggle. fyi, I use my ninja as a nuker and he makes it 1:30 runs... woohoo
idk why there's variance, but I just had to take 1 more speed off gnarlhorn because he again lost the unkillable too fast near very end... but not always..???? this was part of my headache trying to understand why some runs it seemed ppl went slower/faster.. from scouring skills to look for something weird, also noted ninja boosts his TM. So this would make it really not sync with the other nuker... but haven't seen any probelms in like 30runs
Great video! Most of these ideas originally came from biohack and then people started working off what he initially developed. I think the HP tuning is similar to clan boss stun targeting. You need the non-targets to have enough health for the boss to not think he can one-shot them. If there are multiple options for him, he probably does start looking at other things.
Appreciate the feedback! Yeah, that is downside of looking at successful teams in Optimizer is you don’t know who to credit. I think you are right in similarities of CB and this boss in targeting. My Gnarlhorn has MUCH better stats than Coldheart but because he is strong affinity to Gnarlhorn on 25, he attacks him anyway. Was easier to find a sub on 24 then to bump up CH when that would be a waste on 24. Could just grab a DPS already built and manual once.

Hi Bro. Coldhearth is paper hero, got close team to yours but i got shield team;Brogni Aniri+Mountain king in shield set, also got 2 coldhearths (both of them correct damage,crit rate) but both of them got 4k+ Def l5 mins last stage but 100% win rate. Now i think about change CH to Ruelas (i got 2 of them +4 with 6 star souls). Key is good def and correct speed and little portion of luck. Greetings you gain new subscriber

I followed the spd ranges, but from stage 22-24 I had to make one dps significantly faster than the other before it worked for me it was 218 and 236 spd. 218 and 219 failed one after another
I explained in the video that the speed ranges work for 25 but you need to run them manually until stage 25 and I showed how to do each stage. That way you only had to build your champs once. Sounds like you got there though so congrats on that!
@@Cortavius-pn2dz i have seen the video more then once, and i did run them manually also more then once.. what you forget or overlook... Have you really tested all spd ranges yourself? So all possible combinations? i dont think so A simplified example: let's say we see teams with 2 champs that are successful. one with champ a 200 spd and champ b 201 spd. and then another team with champ a spd 201 and champ b 202 spd. Then I cant claim that champ A can have an spd range from 200 to 201 and champ B from 201 to 202. Without testing it, I don't know whether champ a with 200 spd and champ b with 202 spd work together. and here we even have 5 champs and far from larger spd ranges the awakening level on each champ can also decide between victory and defeat, its not only the total number. I tried it with a team with 14 awakening where the cleanser had 0 (you say 12 is enough) but it failed. then I swapped the cleanser for one with 4 and it worked.. 12 may certainly work in certain combinations, but not in all and while we're at it. you mention uugo as a cleanser alternative. "removes 1 random debuff". But if the champs have 2 debuffs and you show that so often in your video and it doesn't remove the enfeble but the other one... that can also go wrong. So it's not a safe alternative either

That dungeon is so much more challenging. I have Godseeker and partner vids but the Godseeker build is tough or she needs 5* blessing. I have a Chaagur team but he is void lego. I have a team with Cybele, Riho, Armiger and Husk. I don't know that it works without Riho and even Cybele isn't easy to get, so only two cheesy champs there (with strong gear).

Hi! Can you help me please? I built this team, but i have a little problem. After the boss's 12th turn the unkillable allways fall off from gnarlhorn and the boss kill him by the 13th attack :/ I trired a lot of speed combination but it never works. My team: Gnarlhorn: 179 speed (tried 180-181-182-183-184, no masteries, no speed gear, turn off every skill), Paragon: 176 speed (tried 175 too, no masteries, prio A2), ReliquaryT: 285 speed (tried 284-286, no masteries, starts A1, after prio A2) and one Coldheart and a Ninja (but I think their speed doesn't matter that much). Oh, and there are 17 red stars in the team. So what do you think? What's wrong?
I bet Ninja is your problem. He manipulates TM on his his A1 and the longer the fight goes on the more that can throw things off, so not surprised it goes awry on turn 12. I would use another coldheart, Royal Guard, Husk, etc. Sorry, for the delay in responding - just catching up on comments now.
I kept failing stage 25 and I was having trouble finding why. My Reliquary Tender was on the Survival mastery... OOPS Now my team is working with only rare with 1:51!
Sorry for the delay but just catching up on comments and saw I missed this one. Boss adds to counter not just for weak hits but other things. One is that if an enfeeble debuff is removed increases the counter by 2. She removed 4 debuffs (Gnarlhorn protected) so counter went up 8. Good question!
Great video, but cannot get this to sync up. I went with Nubs speeds. Masteries are all fine. Reliquary laps shogun and cleanses too soon, slow her down enough and now shes lapped by others.
Are you saying you used my speeds, masteries and team setting and it isn't working either? I haven't seen Nubs speeds to know what's different so not sure if you are still not getting it done if his approach isn't working. I guess he would have to help with that. If you are following my approach and it isn't working, I'm happy to help as I've seen it work for a ton of people. Discord link in other comments on this vid if you want help there, too.
Phantom's Grove is only beneficial for late/end game players. It isn't worth putting energy into it before then as ascending accessories has minimal value compared to getting them or ascending artifacts. So, for players at that level getting one champ to 280 range and everyone else much slower is considered low speeds.
I thought the same thing but then I can't explain why stage 25 boss ignores her. I would think if 24 sees her as a snack, then 25 would find her more enticing as opposed to less. She's void so difference in affinity should drive that. Actually, I think your right but more about Gnarlhorn. Stage 24 boss is force affinity which is weak affinity to Gnarlhorn so it looked at Coldheart. Stage 25 is magic and now Gnarlhorn looks more compelling as boss is strong affinity. So, if your enfeeble tank is strong affinity to boss, then your other champs better be noticeably stronger. Weak affinity enfeeble tank really helps as Gnarlhorn's EHP is much higher than Coldheart, yet boss still attacked her. Thanks for the positive feedback, too!
The boss spreads damage just like how Baron does it. Not sure if this is what happened, but in my runs, my DPS is dying because excess damage spreads to everyone else.

Great video, but I'm struggled at stage 25, i'm using CH, Relicary, Paragon, Gnalhorn and Rathalos, but I have a problem and is that the boss targets my CH or my Paragon due they have low HP, seems that they have to go at least at 40k hp, would be nice if you can help me with this issue, because the speed are ok, GH has the unkillable, but the boss hits the weak/low hp target and then does a surplus damage on all the team , i don't even know which skill is this one. BTW this happens at the turn 2 or 3 of the boss after the cleanse
watch the section of my video on stats as I talk about the min stats you have to have for each role. What you are describing is because your champs she is targeting look like she can one shot them so she skips your Cdmg tank (Gnarlhorn). It is simply a matter of getting their HP/Def up and she will stop targeting them.
Great video that is super informative but I am stuck on stage 25. My speed tune falls apart from turn 2 despite me copying the speeds from this video. Could you help me please?
@@Cortavius-pn2dz using the skill presets you showed and the speed ranges, the sync of Paragon placing the unkillable buff is off, so Gnarlhorn dies early into the run. I can't figure out what is off with the speed tune as I have checked masteries etc
Nevermind, now it is a case of the speeds of Paragon and Gnarlhorn not being right. Para is 1 slower than Gnarl so that the unkillable is used after Gnarlhorn uses his a1, but it doesn't cycle back quick enough after 3 turns and Gnarlhorn gets killed. If I speed up Para, then the sync is off as he uses the unkillable before Gnarlhorn's first turn and it all goes wrong
@@RebelPWI my paragon is 1 slower than Gnarlhorn and it works fine. That can’t be the issue. I would need to see builds, masteries and team settings to help more. Well, he is a rare so he will come. He is helpful because he doesn't weak hit, but you can put another champ in there with highest Cdmg. One with a single hit A1 and even better other skills that don't hit and then you are just going to need enough blessings on the rest of the team to offset those weak hits you are going to get from the lead. Comp would still work then. Doesn't matter if lead is awakened at all because going to weak hit anyway. Also, make sure no retribution or deterrence masteries or counterattack artifacts or accessories on the lead. Those masteries will be helpful on others on the team with blessings as long as their A1's don't manipulate TM.
built the team hit all the stats (relequary) and on manual i still die, there is one turn where gnarlhorn has no unkillable and boss one shots him out of the fight (he's already low by then, about half way down boss defense). Using 2x CH. IDK how to make it work some detail is missing that is not clear. I'm trying to 16 to start where you did. I kept gnarlhorn on a1, waiting as you did for cleanse. Proferred A1 for CH when A3 not avail. Can't make it work, tried twice same result. Any detail not called out on the video you can think of?
Are you having the trouble on the stages getting to 25? I showed every stage and which skills to use so it is all in the video. Do on manual and you can even use Gnarlhorn's and Paragon's unkillable skills whenever they come up and keep putting on Gnarlhorn. Between the two of them, they can't outrun the unkillable. I was using that ability when I needed it, but it was available for more turns so can just simply use it. Not sure how else to help from what you have here. Faction guardians impact speed of any champs? Should see that if looking at speeds in team settings though. Also, I’ve seen team presets fail after an update which just happened. Could delete and rebuild team settings.

I am sure it worked almost 100 times on auto, so had a different blessing. Weird. I had a free blessing replacement as though I did not touch it.
See the boss’s skills. That is one of them. It’s not a problem if you have the min blessings I noted because the team will just take the counter back down and no harm done.
I can't say what the minimum is. Lowest I wrote down was 207 but that could just be because people running stage 25 don't have champs they used built slower. Highest I wrote down was 264. I did make comments about how far apart champs are in speed but don't know if that is impactful or not. If you tell me the speeds you are looking at I can see if I have champs around those speeds and could do a run. The DPS spot is pretty flexible so can always build the other champs and see how team does. There were a lot of different DPS used, too.
DPS spots are indeed flexible but you need to be careful about not having anything that triggers counterattacks (masteries or gear). I will have to redo someone to get a second dps for that stage.
I got counterattack masteries on Gnarlhorn because he can't weak hit and is 5* awakened, but you're right that if you have them on a Coldheart and she counters when boss extends enfeeble she can bump the counter up fast!
Neither will be reliable. The boss puts out two debuffs on her enfeeble skill so both of them could leave enfeeble out until their next turn which means you could be increasing the boss's counter a lot with those 4 hit coldheart A1's. Tuha cleanses 2 if the ally has cont heal buff but those buffs are likely to go on Gnarlhorn which leaves the others with none and then you risk enfeeble not being cleansed. I think you would have successful runs but won't be safe enough to farm.
Dosent work with same speeds on s17 paragon too slow to put unkill. The first few turn is ok and he run out the rota thats no problem but after that he run out over and over😐
In the video I showed how to beat on every stage. You can't run the S25 team on auto on all stages. You need to manual to get to stage 25 and then you can auto.
These speeds doesn't work for me on 25? My team fails every time at start. Gnarlhorn takes 2 hits with this low speeds, so Paragon can't do anything. Boss takes 2 turns before he sets his unkillable?
I watched the run again myself and Gnarlhorn only has to take one hit before the Paragon gets unkillable up. Boss speed isn't fast enough to lap the champs with these speeds. All the other comments I've got are that it works so not sure why yours isn't. Would need to see the builds or a vid of the run to really be able to tell what's happening. Feel free to message me. I'd be willing to go into the account and see if I can see what's wrong or can post builds in discord. Let me know.
Hi. I'm experiencing the same problem. I have wasted over 50mil on artifacts, because I have tried so many different speeds, but still no luck. I even recorded a few vids how it fails. Usually after a few turns it just falls apart, because Gnarlhorn loses his unkillable, and the boss takes a turn before Paragon puts it back. @@Cortavius-pn2dz

You need to watch the part of the video where I show you how to manual the stages up to 25. It will work on full auto on stage 25 but not up to stage 25. That was the main value of my vid vs other CC’s. They all showed the team on 25 but everyone said they can’t get there. I show exactly how to do that on each stage from 25 to 25. (Same manual steps for all)

@@alexdavis-mann8513 stage 24 is the hardest. The affinity isn’t good (negative to gnarlhorn) so he will target cold heart. Watch my vid on stage 24. You will see I showed two subs that worked as it was easier than regearing CH for one stage.
Not with this approach. If there is no cleanser on the team, everyone but Gnarlhorn will weak hit and drive the counter up and boss will wipe your team, even with Demytha's buffs. Reliquary is an easy one to pull and can fit that role well, so you should get her soon. Good luck.
I can't tell you how many people have told me how this video helped and it worked for them. I can assure you they do. You also have to watch masteries, who your dps champs are and that you have hit the min hp/def stats I mentioned. If you don't get any of those right, the speeds won't work. I couldnt get it to work untill I realized that my Wythir has Rapid Response mastery. Husk at 258 speed works fine but I have to rebuild another dps. They all have masteries that get the team out of sync.
Yeah, the speed tune teams, whether a dungeon or CB all have to have masteries that don't impact TM or change skill order. That is part of why I like this team for my account because I don't use these champs anywhere else or for the coldheart's, if I do, they are in their original builds. That way I don't have to worry about them having the wrong masteries for other content. As I pointed out, my coldheart's are in the wrong masteries if I was focused on this dungeon but I don't care if the run is a little slower (and it may not even make a difference). I hope the video was still helpful.
@Cortavius-pn2dz if you can edit the video you should probably remove Ninja from the recommended dps list. He has to be much slower because his a1 will push him out of sync very quickly.
Actually, that came from seeing successful teams. Surprisingly enough, Ninja teams are still quite fast on stages 24 and 25. I ruled him out when I was looking for teams because I wanted champs I wasn't using elsewhere but with my champions he was still on the fastest teams. Same thing with Sand Devils 25. I used him on there for a long time even though negative affinity because even with weak hits he was faster than my other options. I've since replaced with Gnut. Sure would like to get a second Gnut!
Then you are doing something wrong. There are lots of f2p players who can clear this dungeon. Yeah, 99% of the players like you don't bother to understand the mechanics, bitch about everything, and expect to clear all the contents on auto with rares and epics.
Put a lot of time into this so appreciate any view, likes and comments on how to improve. Also, extra credit to anyone who can figure out why Coldheart died on stage 24. Can see builds in team setting section and how I added to her stats in builds. She was fine in every stage but 24. Only 6* awakened Coldheart was targeted but not the other. Comment if you figure it out as I would be fascinated to learn!
There must be something in programming that let's the boss target another hero if he thinks he can kill it. Doesn't happen often but happened to my CH on stage 25. Similar to CB changing the skill rotation under some circumstances
100% the 6* CH must have lower HP and had a decrease defense so the boss thought he could 1 shot her. The reason it doesnt happen on 25 is because the speed tune removes the debuffs before the boss gets a turn. Great set up though and very helpful
One part doesnt work for me. The rotation is fine with cleansing etc. BUT Paragon will put his a2 on the second in the team if Gnarlhorn still has UK up. Any way to fix this? Edit: Found the error, i put the wrong Paragon in the team (my Mr. Solo with much more speed ....).
Really this is probably the most thorough guide on this dungeon for the mid game/F2P player available on UA-cam. I have seem lots of teams from other CC’s but they are all full of gold and just breeze through the specs in a hurry to get on to the next video. Like you, I had to manual it up through the levels and sub in other affinity DPSers to have them survive. Im yet to test out the team, im lvl Gnarhorn to 6* rn and gonna have to do the same with reliquary tender. I havent even touched SG yet, not even stage 1 so i hope the team can still work on manual all the way to stage 25 but from what i saw in this video i can safely say this is the best guide on YT, all the other CCs just do '' speed teams '' for 25 but forget that you have to climb to 25 FIRST! So i really appreciate all the effort you put on making this tutorial as clear as possible for everyone.
Thanks for the great feedback. Yeah, that exactly why I made this because so many people said they couldn’t get to 25 to use these teams. Don’t worry you can get to 25 once you build the team as I show how to manual the prior stages. My Paragon was only 5* and works fine if that saves you some time building.
@@Cortavius-pn2dz I managed to go all the way from stage 1 to stage 25 today but im having a problem on 25, at about midway run the unk buff from paragon is down and the boss is killing the gnarlhorn? do you know whats causing the problem?
@@jhonniekravchenko643 if it is working on the first few turns and failing later that would point to a TM or turn impact. I would look at masteries to make sure you don’t have ones that change turn meter or reduce skill cooldowns. Then gear like refresh, reflex, relentless, etc on paragon, cleanser or gnarlhorn. If you can’t find and need help can post builds to my discord and I can look.
@@Cortavius-pn2dz from what i can see from the failed runs apparently the problem is that Gnarhorn is going a little too fast so Paragon in not keeping up and the boss is cutting between the 2 and killing Gnarhorn while he have no unk buff. Their speeds are 176 - 179, ill try to make them at max 1 speed difference between each other and see if it works
@@jhonniekravchenko643 that top end is outside the range for paragon who has a narrow range. My gnarlhorn is 176 and paragon 175 both in the ranges I noted in the vid for each role. Have to be in the right range for each.
Finally i made it to lvl 25. I had to stuggle a bit on the way there, because shogun kept attacking my coldheart. so i had to use the unkillable of gnarlhorn on him and paragons unkillable on the coldheart until she healed up fully again. but that worked well, after i figured it out. Now on stage 25 the team works perfectly smooth without any issues on auto.

Really great video, appreciate the amount of effort you put into this! You should do more content breakdown for other areas of the game, granted that's definitely easier said than done... I find not many other content creators are willing to go through how to get get past each of the earlier stages, nor provide enough tips that are "generalised" enough to handle a robust scenario, but are also specific enough to cover when you encounter niche scenarios. You've provided information and a guide that's really balanced and well thought out. Great work!

Finally got around to doing this (speeds from a different content creator) and have to say THANK YOU for the tip on coldheart's A2 if you have an enfeeble. Really helped my climb. Just a few thoughts for others trying to climb:
1. Use gnarlhorn's A3 if you only have 1 turn left on paragon's unkillable. Speedtunes at 25 will be different than when climbing.
2. Use CH's a2 if you have enfeeble. In general multi-hit skills are lava if you have enfeeble so be careful.
3. Be careful with any mastery/blessing which gives you an increase in speed, it can throw you off. If things aren't working, read every mastery and every blessing you are using. Just using phantom touch on the team will help. Also double check your builds (with sets) in the deadwood jedi calculator.
How does Phantom Touch help?
@@moneyninja3852 It adds a little damage. The most important thing is it doesn't hurt you at all. Having no downside and adding a bit of damage seems fine. You could choose another blessing but phantom touch is safe. Just double check your blessings is the most important thing. Then check again if things aren't working.

Works great, thank you. I use Battlesage (High Elves Void Epic) as cleanser, she also places an increase ATK buff for a bit more dmg than the Reliquary Tender I wanted to use first (her heal is not needed). One CH and one Royal Guard as DD (had 5 stars for him and only one CH with 2 stars, disable A3 on RG when he has high Acc). Run takes 2:40-2:50 minutes... non of my legendary cleansers has awakenings, so sadly no Brimstone for me... yet. A little tip for people who have problems with reaching stage 25... use 2 cleansers (different speeds) and 1 DD on manual. It's more likely that your champ with cleanse goes first after debuff, when you have 2 and 1 less champ that can increase the counter. Takes a bit longer but will bring you to Stage 25.

Thanks! If your champs have no awakenings at all then when they attack the boss, the boss's counter goes up. When the counter gets over 20 bad things start to happen. Over 40 and you die. The more stars your champs have, the more they reduce that counter when not weak hitting. That's why I covered the min number of stars you need. I hope that helped. (I didn't want to spend too much time on the boss mechanics because I knew I'd lose people's interest as the boss description is pages long.)

Great video. I climbed from 15-14 no problem. On 25 the boss kills my whole team on the hit right after the CH 2nd turn. Shade counter is low, cleaner has cleanser so they don’t have enfeeble. Not sure what goes wrong there but still a great video.
I’d have to see it but that sounds like the boss is targeting someone other than the dmg lead. Does boss kill an ally of Gnarlhorn first and then team dies? This happens if you haven’t hit the HP/def thresholds of the allies and the boss sees them as one shot killable. Feel free to come to my discord and show builds or clip of run if want help figuring it out.
@@Cortavius-pn2dz I realized it was targeting my weaker coldheart(I think same issue you were having on 24?) Strange it worked all the way thru 24. I pumped some hp on and it seems ok now. But now at 285 speed Reliquary is cleansing early every other cleanse. On next free regear I’m going to mess with it. I also need to drop everyone’s crit dam and get gnarlhorn some more hp do the crit doesn’t kill him. I’ll watch thru the video again and get it sorted. Amazing vid. Would love a sand devil one. I just pulled Godseeker and can finally work on that dungeon.
@@tyweisenburger8480 before you regear make sure you don’t have a refresh acc, reflex/relentless or mastery like cycle of magic or TM increasing mastery ok reliquary. Any of those will cause what you are seeing and changing speed won’t help. If you are in my speed range for her, then speed isn’t your issue.
@@Cortavius-pn2dz zero masteries. Completely broken sets. But first cleanse is perfect, 2nd is barely early right before instead of after boss . If I manual it thru and get it back on track and put back on auto. The 2nd cleanse is off again. I’ve watched other videos and their speed matches yours, so it has to be something with mine. I need to rebuild the team anyways because gnarlhorn does if the first hit is a crit. So I need more hp so I’m gonna lose some crit which means I’ll have to drop my coldheart. Such a mess 😂 I was so close but so far away.

glad your speed ranges were more accurate (I just had to tweak bit of speed more following your ranges). Also like that the speed ranges were put big, so scrolling through 1hr vid can look for thumbnail where u gave the speed ranges. I burned a lot of energy and silver fixing this so thanks for ending the struggle.
fyi, I use my ninja as a nuker and he makes it 1:30 runs... woohoo
idk why there's variance, but I just had to take 1 more speed off gnarlhorn because he again lost the unkillable too fast near very end... but not always..???? this was part of my headache trying to understand why some runs it seemed ppl went slower/faster..
from scouring skills to look for something weird, also noted ninja boosts his TM. So this would make it really not sync with the other nuker... but haven't seen any probelms in like 30runs

Great video! Most of these ideas originally came from biohack and then people started working off what he initially developed.
I think the HP tuning is similar to clan boss stun targeting. You need the non-targets to have enough health for the boss to not think he can one-shot them. If there are multiple options for him, he probably does start looking at other things.
Appreciate the feedback! Yeah, that is downside of looking at successful teams in Optimizer is you don’t know who to credit. I think you are right in similarities of CB and this boss in targeting. My Gnarlhorn has MUCH better stats than Coldheart but because he is strong affinity to Gnarlhorn on 25, he attacks him anyway. Was easier to find a sub on 24 then to bump up CH when that would be a waste on 24. Could just grab a DPS already built and manual once.

Coldhearth is paper hero, got close team to yours but i got shield team;Brogni Aniri+Mountain king in shield set, also got 2 coldhearths (both of them correct damage,crit rate) but both of them got 4k+ Def l5 mins last stage but 100% win rate. Now i think about change CH to Ruelas (i got 2 of them +4 with 6 star souls). Key is good def and correct speed and little portion of luck. Greetings you gain new subscriber

I followed the spd ranges, but from stage 22-24 I had to make one dps significantly faster than the other before it worked
for me it was 218 and 236 spd. 218 and 219 failed one after another
I explained in the video that the speed ranges work for 25 but you need to run them manually until stage 25 and I showed how to do each stage. That way you only had to build your champs once. Sounds like you got there though so congrats on that!

Have you really tested all spd ranges yourself? So all possible combinations? i dont think so
A simplified example: let's say we see teams with 2 champs that are successful.
one with champ a 200 spd and champ b 201 spd.
and then another team with champ a spd 201 and champ b 202 spd.
Then I cant claim that champ A can have an spd range from 200 to 201 and champ B from 201 to 202.
Without testing it, I don't know whether champ a with 200 spd and champ b with 202 spd work together.
and here we even have 5 champs and far from larger spd ranges
the awakening level on each champ can also decide between victory and defeat, its not only the total number.
I tried it with a team with 14 awakening where the cleanser had 0 (you say 12 is enough) but it failed. then I swapped the cleanser for one with 4 and it worked..
12 may certainly work in certain combinations, but not in all
and while we're at it. you mention uugo as a cleanser alternative. "removes 1 random debuff". But if the champs have 2 debuffs and you show that so often in your video and it doesn't remove the enfeble but the other one... that can also go wrong. So it's not a safe alternative either

I've thought about the Sand Devil vid but haven't seen a cheesy team that can get to 25. That dungeon is so much more challenging. I have Godseeker and partner vids but the Godseeker build is tough or she needs 5* blessing. I have a Chaagur team but he is void lego. I have a team with Cybele, Riho, Armiger and Husk. I don't know that it works without Riho and even Cybele isn't easy to get, so only two cheesy champs there (with strong gear).

Hi! Can you help me please? I built this team, but i have a little problem. After the boss's 12th turn the unkillable allways fall off from gnarlhorn and the boss kill him by the 13th attack :/ I trired a lot of speed combination but it never works. My team: Gnarlhorn: 179 speed (tried 180-181-182-183-184, no masteries, no speed gear, turn off every skill), Paragon: 176 speed (tried 175 too, no masteries, prio A2), ReliquaryT: 285 speed (tried 284-286, no masteries, starts A1, after prio A2) and one Coldheart and a Ninja (but I think their speed doesn't matter that much). Oh, and there are 17 red stars in the team. So what do you think? What's wrong?

I bet Ninja is your problem. He manipulates TM on his his A1 and the longer the fight goes on the more that can throw things off, so not surprised it goes awry on turn 12. I would use another coldheart, Royal Guard, Husk, etc. Sorry, for the delay in responding - just catching up on comments now.

Why did the cleanse at 8 stacks to the boss at 28:50 when Wither did her cleanse? Did she weak it? It doesn't say anything on the boss.
Sorry for the delay but just catching up on comments and saw I missed this one. Boss adds to counter not just for weak hits but other things. One is that if an enfeeble debuff is removed increases the counter by 2. She removed 4 debuffs (Gnarlhorn protected) so counter went up 8. Good question!

Masteries are all fine. Reliquary laps shogun and cleanses too soon, slow her down enough and now shes lapped by others.
Are you saying you used my speeds, masteries and team setting and it isn't working either? I haven't seen Nubs speeds to know what's different so not sure if you are still not getting it done if his approach isn't working. I guess he would have to help with that. Low speeds? You and I have VERY different ideas of "low speeds"
Phantom's Grove is only beneficial for late/end game players. It isn't worth putting energy into it before then as ascending accessories has minimal value compared to getting them or ascending artifacts. So, for players at that level getting one champ to 280 range and everyone else much slower is considered low speeds.

I thought the same thing but then I can't explain why stage 25 boss ignores her. I would think if 24 sees her as a snack, then 25 would find her more enticing as opposed to less. She's void so difference in affinity should drive that. Actually, I think your right but more about Gnarlhorn. Stage 24 boss is force affinity which is weak affinity to Gnarlhorn so it looked at Coldheart. Stage 25 is magic and now Gnarlhorn looks more compelling as boss is strong affinity. So, if your enfeeble tank is strong affinity to boss, then your other champs better be noticeably stronger. Weak affinity enfeeble tank really helps as Gnarlhorn's EHP is much higher than Coldheart, yet boss still attacked her. Thanks for the positive feedback, too!
The boss spreads damage just like how Baron does it. Not sure if this is what happened, but in my runs, my DPS is dying because excess damage spreads to everyone else.

Great video, but I'm struggled at stage 25, i'm using CH, Relicary, Paragon, Gnalhorn and Rathalos, but I have a problem and is that the boss targets my CH or my Paragon due they have low HP, seems that they have to go at least at 40k hp, would be nice if you can help me with this issue, because the speed are ok, GH has the unkillable, but the boss hits the weak/low hp target and then does a surplus damage on all the team , i don't even know which skill is this one. BTW this happens at the turn 2 or 3 of the boss after the cleanse
watch the section of my video on stats as I talk about the min stats you have to have for each role. What you are describing is because your champs she is targeting look like she can one shot them so she skips your Cdmg tank (Gnarlhorn). It is simply a matter of getting their HP/Def up and she will stop targeting them.

@@Cortavius-pn2dz using the skill presets you showed and the speed ranges, the sync of Paragon placing the unkillable buff is off, so Gnarlhorn dies early into the run. I can't figure out what is off with the speed tune as I have checked masteries etc
Nevermind, now it is a case of the speeds of Paragon and Gnarlhorn not being right. Para is 1 slower than Gnarl so that the unkillable is used after Gnarlhorn uses his a1, but it doesn't cycle back quick enough after 3 turns and Gnarlhorn gets killed.
If I speed up Para, then the sync is off as he uses the unkillable before Gnarlhorn's first turn and it all goes wrong
@@RebelPWI my paragon is 1 slower than Gnarlhorn and it works fine. That can’t be the issue. I would need to see builds, masteries and team settings to help more. Well, he is a rare so he will come. He is helpful because he doesn't weak hit, but you can put another champ in there with highest Cdmg. One with a single hit A1 and even better other skills that don't hit and then you are just going to need enough blessings on the rest of the team to offset those weak hits you are going to get from the lead. Comp would still work then. Doesn't matter if lead is awakened at all because going to weak hit anyway. Also, make sure no retribution or deterrence masteries or counterattack artifacts or accessories on the lead. Those masteries will be helpful on others on the team with blessings as long as their A1's don't manipulate TM.
instead of relique pythion would work to with speed of 284, right?
Three turn cleanse so yeah he should work as well. Good luck!
built the team hit all the stats (relequary) and on manual i still die, there is one turn where gnarlhorn has no unkillable and boss one shots him out of the fight (he's already low by then, about half way down boss defense). Using 2x CH. IDK how to make it work some detail is missing that is not clear. I'm trying to 16 to start where you did. I kept gnarlhorn on a1, waiting as you did for cleanse. Proferred A1 for CH when A3 not avail. Can't make it work, tried twice same result.
Any detail not called out on the video you can think of?
Are you having the trouble on the stages getting to 25? I showed every stage and which skills to use so it is all in the video. Do on manual and you can even use Gnarlhorn's and Paragon's unkillable skills whenever they come up and keep putting on Gnarlhorn. Between the two of them, they can't outrun the unkillable. I was using that ability when I needed it, but it was available for more turns so can just simply use it. Not sure how else to help from what you have here. @@Cortavius-pn2dz Thanks. For some reason the discord link brings me to 'no text channels' (essentially page-not-found), I am trying to follow video and do level 16 on manual. For some reason the boss outruns the unkillable on gnarlhorn and then Gn gets killed.

Well, it worked until it didn't. I don't think I changed anything, no speed o masteries changed or different, presets too. Any ideas?
Faction guardians impact speed of any champs? Should see that if looking at speeds in team settings though. Also, I’ve seen team presets fail after an update which just happened. Could delete and rebuild team settings.
@@Cortavius-pn2dz Thanks for your quick reply. It weirdly was something else. My Gnarl changed back to his survival instinct he had before me building the team. I am sure it worked almost 100 times on auto, so had a different blessing. Weird. I had a free blessing replacement as though I did not touch it.

whenever I use Mithrala's cleanse it increases the counter by 8 why is that?
See the boss’s skills. That is one of them. It’s not a problem if you have the min blessings I noted because the team will just take the counter back down and no harm done.
can you elaborate about dps speed range? any minimums, maximums? I don't want to rebuild anybody jsut for shogun and would like to see who would fit
I can't say what the minimum is. Lowest I wrote down was 207 but that could just be because people running stage 25 don't have champs they used built slower. Highest I wrote down was 264. I did make comments about how far apart champs are in speed but don't know if that is impactful or not. If you tell me the speeds you are looking at I can see if I have champs around those speeds and could do a run. The DPS spot is pretty flexible so can always build the other champs and see how team does. There were a lot of different DPS used, too.

DPS spots are indeed flexible but you need to be careful about not having anything that triggers counterattacks (masteries or gear). I will have to redo someone to get a second dps for that stage.
I got counterattack masteries on Gnarlhorn because he can't weak hit and is 5* awakened, but you're right that if you have them on a Coldheart and she counters when boss extends enfeeble she can bump the counter up fast!

Neither will be reliable. The boss puts out two debuffs on her enfeeble skill so both of them could leave enfeeble out until their next turn which means you could be increasing the boss's counter a lot with those 4 hit coldheart A1's. Tuha cleanses 2 if the ally has cont heal buff but those buffs are likely to go on Gnarlhorn which leaves the others with none and then you risk enfeeble not being cleansed. I think you would have successful runs but won't be safe enough to farm.
Dosent work with same speeds on s17 paragon too slow to put unkill. The first few turn is ok and he run out the rota thats no problem but after that he run out over and over😐
In the video I showed how to beat on every stage. You can't run the S25 team on auto on all stages. You need to manual to get to stage 25 and then you can auto.

These speeds doesn't work for me on 25? My team fails every time at start. Gnarlhorn takes 2 hits with this low speeds, so Paragon can't do anything. Boss takes 2 turns before he sets his unkillable?
I watched the run again myself and Gnarlhorn only has to take one hit before the Paragon gets unkillable up. Boss speed isn't fast enough to lap the champs with these speeds. All the other comments I've got are that it works so not sure why yours isn't. Would need to see the builds or a vid of the run to really be able to tell what's happening. Feel free to message me. I'd be willing to go into the account and see if I can see what's wrong or can post builds in discord. Let me know.
Hi. I'm experiencing the same problem. I have wasted over 50mil on artifacts, because I have tried so many different speeds, but still no luck. I even recorded a few vids how it fails. Usually after a few turns it just falls apart, because Gnarlhorn loses his unkillable, and the boss takes a turn before Paragon puts it back. @@Cortavius-pn2dz

im trying to run stage 18 at these speeds but the boss just overtakes the unkillable so im not sure whats going wrong.
You need to watch the part of the video where I show you how to manual the stages up to 25. It will work on full auto on stage 25 but not up to stage 25. That was the main value of my vid vs other CC’s. They all showed the team on 25 but everyone said they can’t get there. I show exactly how to do that on each stage from 25 to 25. (Same manual steps for all)
@@Cortavius-pn2dz im on stage 24 but for some reason he just randomly turns around and nukes my coldheart even though theres no reason he should as has 0 stks and everyone but gnarlhorns at full hp.
@@alexdavis-mann8513 stage 24 is the hardest. The affinity isn’t good (negative to gnarlhorn) so he will target cold heart. Watch my vid on stage 24. You will see I showed two subs that worked as it was easier than regearing CH for one stage.

Demytha has no cleanse does it work?
Not with this approach. If there is no cleanser on the team, everyone but Gnarlhorn will weak hit and drive the counter up and boss will wipe your team, even with Demytha's buffs. Reliquary is an easy one to pull and can fit that role well, so you should get her soon. Good luck.

I can't tell you how many people have told me how this video helped and it worked for them. I can assure you they do. You also have to watch masteries, who your dps champs are and that you have hit the min hp/def stats I mentioned. If you don't get any of those right, the speeds won't work. Feel free to post your builds, describe what went wrong or a vid of run, etc. to my discord and I would be happy to help diagnose.

LOL, yeah I think the sound team at Plarium would be dismayed at how frequently their game is played in silence.
I couldnt get it to work untill I realized that my Wythir has Rapid Response mastery. Husk at 258 speed works fine but I have to rebuild another dps. They all have masteries that get the team out of sync.
Yeah, the speed tune teams, whether a dungeon or CB all have to have masteries that don't impact TM or change skill order. That is part of why I like this team for my account because I don't use these champs anywhere else or for the coldheart's, if I do, they are in their original builds. That way I don't have to worry about them having the wrong masteries for other content. As I pointed out, my coldheart's are in the wrong masteries if I was focused on this dungeon but I don't care if the run is a little slower (and it may not even make a difference). I hope the video was still helpful.
@Cortavius-pn2dz if you can edit the video you should probably remove Ninja from the recommended dps list. He has to be much slower because his a1 will push him out of sync very quickly.
Actually, that came from seeing successful teams. Surprisingly enough, Ninja teams are still quite fast on stages 24 and 25. I ruled him out when I was looking for teams because I wanted champs I wasn't using elsewhere but with my champions he was still on the fastest teams. Same thing with Sand Devils 25. I used him on there for a long time even though negative affinity because even with weak hits he was faster than my other options. I've since replaced with Gnut. Sure would like to get a second Gnut!
Yeah, none of that is accurate. Shogun is a crap show and terrible addition that 99% of players can’t do.
Then you are doing something wrong. There are lots of f2p players who can clear this dungeon. Yeah, 99% of the players like you don't bother to understand the mechanics, bitch about everything, and expect to clear all the contents on auto with rares and epics.
Is not meant for everyone…it’s end game content. Some people I swear…no brain
