A techno remix of Shadow Dragon’s Enemy Phase music was not what I was expecting to be a banger for Book 9. The boss and recruitment theme made it sweeter.
I don't play this game anymore, but I still keep up with the boss and map themes, and this might be my new favorite one. The FE theme reference in the middle is especially sick. I really hope we get more music from this game in the next Smash title.

I gotta be honest, as hype as it already is to hear remixes of Shadow Dragon, I'd feel a lot more hyped about it if classic FE characters like Marth and Xander were still an active part of the main story instead of being an obstacle with a throwaway line to get in the way of us attacking and dethroning the norse pantheon.
At last, we get to see what Asgardr and Alfador look like! As I listen to this, I think the appropriate title for this soundtrack is "Heavenly Court Asgardr"

However, they are all Deities of Asgard. Based on Norse Mythology, Baldr is killed by Loki so we could see Loki betray Baldr. Also Thorr is even involved.
@ the myth also says that Loki cursed the gold that turned Fafnir into a monstrous dragon. Even the cinematic shows Loki’s involvement in this narrative, but she’s been acting like an ally since book 3 and I don’t expect that to change this time either.

And another thought I had was: if this is Asgard, then where is Odin? They introduced a new creator deity who will likely fill the same role, but still. The flavor text for book nine claims that they want Rune and Alfonse, but we’ve been around the block enough times to know that ultimately will not be the case, lol
