I just love how she's standing in the shadows listening...and then she walks over and lovingly touches the piano player and smiles - what a lovely, touching scene. I wonder if she knew that this was the last performance on film or if she had decided that it would be.
I like Marlene's because there's a certain emotion behind it. but I think it's because you know it's her final film and you feel that sense of "this is really it. she's really done." so it's that somewhat bittersweet feeling. more bitter than sweet of course lol.
