I'd love to talk about character design more. This is one of our worst performing videos though so I don't know that we'll talk more about it anytime soon (unfortunately).
wtf why are the views on this so low? does the algorithm not like the word "spectrum" or something? My preferred range is definitely the "realistic caricature" (eg. Brink etc) because there's so much room for style and creativity inside it, while still retaining the gravitas of naturalism. If that makes sense.
I refuse to call that piece of garbage an “abstraction”. That would a be slap to the face of people like Andrew Loomis, who, with great dedication to portraying accurate human proportions, came up with an actual useful “abstraction” that simplifies the human head to help him do his job.
