- In this beginners guide i will show you how to use command console to explore in many different ways. Some of these features are for PC only, i know consoles can enable cheat mode but i doubt they can fly. 7 days to die command console is very powerful tool that allows you to enter i to debug mode, enter creative mode and spawn items, increase levels and much more.

Just a hint for using "U". If you type in the name of the item you want, with each letter you type, the quality of the item changes randomly. So for a Steel Axe, with each letter you type S-t-e-e-l etc, the quality will change randomly. Have fun!

What's the console command to delete placed items?? I have a shit load of those steel spikes that look like drill bits and it takes like 10 min to destroy one even with an auger
+Bring me Peter pan I honestly don't know, don't even think there is one. I use auger or tnt
I don't know if there's a command console route (I'm still a noob), but I've seen someone on another channel using a tool in creative mode that could insta destroy any block - reasonably sure it was just a wrench with the XML edited to give it the ability to do enough damage. I wouldn't know how to do that, but got the impression it was a reasonably simple thing to do - might be worth looking into how to edit the XML files?

I was experimenting BEFORE I found your video. I wish I found it earlier. :( I spawned Trader Rekt into my basement and he's floating over top of my chemy station. I can't kill him with the killall command. How do I remove him from my basement bunker?

I need a command with which I can get the pipes that shoot flames, because I built a base in a location that has exactly these things and the zombies destroyed them, please help me get them back, I spent a lot of resources on this base and the only reason I built it was these flame pipes.
You can enable creative mode before you enter the world(in main menu), and ingame press U(default key) to open a menu that you can give yourself every block in the game. Later just disable creative mode to continue normally. Hope it helps

Can you command console and force a frost biome spawn at the start of the game for a new player?
Is there a command to instantly reset the loot respawn such that all containers have respawned their loot?
Hey I wanted to know if it was a common problem, when you go into DM, spawns an npc, (exemple: Bandit, Survivor), everytime they get attacked, by me, or by zombies, my console opens with the error: Object Reference not set to an instance of an object. Does it happens to you too ?
+Amelie Beauchemin It happens to some pc's. When i was testing new a16 npcs i didn't get any errors but now i do. Doubt anyone knows why and how to get rid of them
Object reference would be a dead version of whatever is being attacked, but a Dead survivor or a Dead trader doesn't exist in the gamefiles, so it just gives you an error each time they take damage, because they're not supposed to take damage or be in the game, like the bandit npc or survivor, and traders aren't supposed to take damage from zombies, so that also gives you an error.
any chance someone could tell me how to use the buff command properly? I bet there's a proper list of buffs somewhere but idk how to combine that with the buff command because it doesn't take what I'm typing in, for example: buff MegaCrush! it'll just tell me it requires 1 argument.
+Naomi Roval each buff and debuff has its id name and sometime its not like its originally called. Wish i could tell you each one but youre gonna have to google that urself.
I did and it only takes me to the site in you description :/ it lists the buff and its name but it doesn't list the command that you need, I found it anyways though just by typing random things, it was megaCrushBuff, spelt like that, and if you don't spell it exactly like that it doesn't go through >.> thanks anyways
Can you spawn in a house or a building? Or do you have to build one on your own?

+Nicolas F did you try getting in using debugmenu? Just fly in and use him and disable fly/debugmenu when youre done.
he can't kick you out if you're in godmode, so enable that and fly in and buy/sell what you need, and then leave godmode afterwards.

Im afraid you're gonna have to live with it buddy. As far as i know they cant be removed or killed.

When DM is on you can change time and how fast it flies when you press ESC. You probably made day short there

Try H, if it doesn't work go to settings and look for god mode, reconfigure it to G or something

In Alpha 17 quality was changed to max 6, don't worry about quality, it raise only item durability

I have a disc of the game for Xbx 1 and found out you can't fly even in CM so I have to make bikes all the time to get around ...I hate walking and running in this game to go anywhere, too slow, I like to explore the map in my games and you can't teleport either so I'm a biker, "CM 4 Life", wish I could spray paint that on buildings in the game...ahh too much GTA. lol

You might've made the same mistake I did - make sure you copy exactly what he typed - including the space.

What do you mean add light? The gamma settings in options should help you make ur game darker or lighter, if that's what you mean. :)

Dont you mean auger for digging ??? before you start the game, select your save, and change the modded option cheats on/off :) hope it helps
no i mean when i once joined a friends game and he spawned stuff like cheat smg which didnt fire bullets or do damage but could destroy blocks in one hit at the fire rate of an smg. maybe it was a mod or something.

Never did it myself personally. I think there is a command such as "Add Admin (name)" but im not sure. Type "help" and it should be on top of the list
2HandGaming Wow thanks for fast replay :) I tried it before. You are right there is an "Add admin" command but even when i add my friend ass an admin he still do not have this debugmode options. Maybe it's just impossible to do that, and he is obligated to use command console. Anyway thanks for replay ;)
I thought that was gonna be a problem. You will probably have to configure server files and add him manually into admin list.
