olds went to the cheap looking flat, black plastic headlight cover in '88. yours has the "grooved" covers which were used in '86 and 87 and i prefer. i noticed the cluster flickering. have you tried swapping out the central power supply module? i have been tinkering with the '86-92 toros for a number of years now. ren
The flickering was caused by the cluster refreshing at 50 fps and the camera refreshing at 60 fps. this toronado is unfortunately gone, but I have another one for sale thats an 88 trofeo.
Are those tires bigger or is it just me. I see you put Trofeo/Touring Sedan wheels on the car. I was smiling looking at the digital cluster. You are making progress with your cars.
@@Sonicsneverdie Buick wheels were different. They( these wheels) were used on the 1989-1990 Oldsmobile Touring Sedan which was the Oldsmobile Ninety Eight . They were used on 1990-1992 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeos.
@@OLDS98 Just went and looked. You're correct 🙂. I was trying to go straight off my memory. I love GM cars from this era. I know a lot of people hate them but I grew up with them. Great to talk cars with someone who I believe shares my passion for this era.
