I mean he wasn't wrong, even if you look at something like production of electric cars to decrease CO2 emissions, in the end of the day it's all just done for profitability, none of these corporations care about the carbon footprint. It's not a surprise that most countries that supply the materials for these cars are gathering these materials by child labour who do all the mining and carrying. It's not a surprise that biggest producers of Electric cars are also biggest contributors to pollution, they have the most coal powerplants; China, USA, Germany....
If they're completely honest, most people don't care about the planet they are okay letting later generations deal with those consequences, they just want to live their life freely without weird obstacles and stupid regulations in place for every single thing we do.

Tbh if you're going to cause an impact, then regardless of how much influence you can get from some flight, then I would say yea dismantle the plane and whatever artist can perform where they can actually travel to without causing that impact or use the internet for a good purpose, stream ur shit and reduce that impact from 100% to 1% or something (No way, the magical concept that is the internet not being used for twitter drama and instagram brainrot). Carbon emission isn't necessarily bad when its done in moderate, but when it's done excessively it kills trees because the co2 can only go so high into our atmosphere. Which is why trees and forests have a hard time surviving in places like mountains in china where the amount of emissions of co2 exceed the normal amount. Trees in general need co2 in order to release oxygen into our atmosphere. The problem comes with how it affects the wildlife in those areas which then affects the overall environment as a whole. Sure, animals aren't necessary for a forest to live on but disease will spread rampant since there's no animals for the disease to directly move onto next, it would move onto trees. It also doesn't help when city governments decide to deforest entire forests and don't replant trees or move the wildlife properly which is overall worst for our environment. Even with all the charities in the world helping to solve co2 emissions, unless hard mandates are put on the companies to control the emissions then we will just screw our future generations over.
Even then, mandates for co2 emissions won't happen because company executives will pay politicians behind the scenes with bribe money to not accept certain legislation from being passed. These companies hold the house of representatives, the senate, and the president by the balls and dangle money in-front of them because money makes the world go round. Since the general consensus is that the government is made of old people who just want retirement money and don't actually do much while they are in their elected positions, it takes a long ass time for simple legislation to be passed because they are always "disagreeing" on votes but "agreeing to disagree" behind closed doors with those who feed them money. The government can print as much money as they want and we will still have our country divided on a stupid ahh 2 party system where people are forced to choose a side, when both sides have their own respective problems and people just wanna live happily with a comfortable income to work towards to owning a house, cars, good insurance, treating yourself to restaurants every now and then. But the middle income families and people who have middle income get their taxes raised through the roof cause of inflation and general prices of everyday goods become overly overpriced. Minimum wage should be like $25usd but no, that's "too much" to ask for according to the rich assholes who wanna have a opinion on middle income families.
General question fellas, when you think of voting, do you ask yourself "Why the hell are all these representatives up for election so damn old?" These old politicians don't know how to improve our generation and our future generation because they've been milking their position for 10, 20, even 30 years. You've seen the stupid questions senators ask younger people who are ceo's of these companies, and these CEO's will just avoid the questions outright with some shit like "I don't know the specifics but..." and will never admit to saying yes or no. If they were in the wrong, (which the people who see these go down KNOW they are wrong) they'd say yes and admit to the consequences. But, since they dont openly disagree with the questions in order to not face consequences, they can just outmaneuver the questions altogether INFRONT of congress. I'm certain there are some good congressmen and congresswomen out there trying their hardest to make general changes for the best, but a lot of them are crooks in the open and even behind closed doors. The way our congress is setup and the laws are made make it so that even under oath these bastards can lie through their teeth and have nothing happen to them.
We might have freedom, but our freedom extents to the fact that we live on trying to make the "american dream" where we just want enough to live comfortably. But even that's gone as house prices are stupidly high at the moment, the job market is a cluster full of shit where "positions" are open from companies and these companies are so stingy on their requirements that they will ignore people who just finished college who had hard times getting internships and only look for candidates who did internships or have work experience in the field. Then after those multiple waves certain individuals will get hired and they will be happy they are making a decent income, until 2-3 years later when they get let go by corporate because they decided to outsoruce for cheaper labor, forcing those same people who had stable lives to now look frantically for other places to hire them. The past generations were able to buy houses with ease, now that looks like something that would take many many years to accomplish.
Sorry for rambling, I'm certain someone will look at the first 3 sentences and be like "i ain't readin all dat". Just remember, normal citizens like us will never have a choice in the matter of improving our personal lives as corporates who control the balls of our government officials will always have control over the people's lives in general. Inflation will just get worst overtime, and I'm hoping that they lower gas prices and food prices cause it's crazy how expensive shit's gotten.

Wouldn't the carbon % have to be so unattainably high that they'd sooner die from the effects of global warming? Even in the same phylum, some diseases may be lethal to some but mild to others. Other times, that animal species is simply not a vector for the disease. Animal and plant diseases are completely different. Maybe, even the reverse would happen because animals can act as an intermediary, transporting fungi and the likes from the soil and to trees. Trees don't have freedoms such as walking so transmissions happen through the soil or the air, which slows disease spread.

Here is a website about how high emissions of co2 gas were seeping in the soil of mammoth mountain after a bunch of earthquakes in 1989 beneath mammoth itself. It killed a shit ton of trees there and they did a study on it. Because the % is so high, there's no chance the trees can survive. This is just one example. But that's not factoring in the actual emissions done by the state itself but only the natural amount of co2 produced by a volcano. They only managed to get that number below 400 million after 2019, and seeing other states emission levels you begin to question why the hell we release so much co2 into the air to begin with.

Which in comparison is a lot to other states, since California has a lot of forest fires on top of the co2 emissions they put out, it doesn't help the fact that California's weather is utter dogshit and not ideal for how many mountain ranges they have. With that much co2 emissions the actual co2 starts to level into the soil on these mountains and begins to fuck up the trees directly in certain areas. Sure, global warming would kill the trees overtime but it wouldn't take too long for the high % of co2 in the soil to kill the trees.

Evolution is a scary thing when it comes to diseases as they have the ability to modify and grow. Fungi like Phytophthora can affect trees roots which can kill the tree and also causes animals that come in contact with the soil the disease lives ends up causing other diseases directly as a result. Like I said, some fungi diseases don't necessarily need a intermediator to affect plants/trees.
If the fungi has no intermediator to transfer from, it either has 2 choices, 1.) die 2.) spread to plants and trees around it.
