Its actually surprisingly easy to learn where countries are. Spent a good hour on geoquest and can easily name every country with the excpetion of African countries outside of west and north africa (AND oCEANIA fuck all that shit )

You should probably know member states of a country if they're big enough, sure you can get by with just UK, but not knowing Scotland, Northern Ireland, England, And wales is goofy.
