I use my index halfheartedly and I really didn't think there would be anything new about using an index I would learn. I was wrong. Dedicated index-Yes! Why did I never think of this? 🤯

I really don't use an index in my bullet journal cuz i prefer to use notebook therapy notebook and they are not numbered and i know if i do it myself im gonna ruin it.and i would prefer to have bookmarks rather than numbered pages/preprinted index. But you're explaination is litteraly so good 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻💜💜
Thanks! I don't really use an index myself unless it's in a notebook that isn't super chronological (e.g. my reading journal, work notes journal, etc.)
@@JashiiCorrin for my reading journal I prefer to use a calandex (learnt it from you only 😁😊😊)
OMG your handwriting is so much nicer than mine! lol. I tend to write quickly and largely, but I'm purposely trying to write in a smaller fashion, in a more controlled manner, esp for the index.
It took a while for me to get used to that size and writing in all caps, but my letter forms a looking a lot better now compared to what I used to have 😄💜
@@JashiiCorrin yeah, but I bet you have that "designer handwriting" gift/ability going on, 😜. (When I was at uni, I adored correctly guessing someone's major merely from viewing their handwriting; ALL of the architects and graphic designers basically had extremely similar handwriting! It was fascinating to me!)
I did include the Weeklies in my index for now, but I could see dropping those in the future & using a sub index for certain items, like thinking about details of a trip I’m planning for spring as pieces land in my weekly/daily notes & task.
Sounds like a good system 💪 If you get value from having your weeklies in the index though, and they don't add clutter that bothers you, leave them in if you wanna 😝 Your journal, your rules 💜
