We have Maria instead of Mario, Bolivia instead of Olivia, and Barbie instead of Bobby.
Today, we make our way through the Scorching Sandpaper Desert, where Olivia (Bolivia) continues to share who she is as a character, her thoughts, and some interesting observations.

The "Book of Mario" series is a series of Paper Mario games that have been translated through several languages, and the result is hilariously bad dialogue that slightly resembles what we started with. Many Book of Mario translations for past Paper Mario games have made me cry of laughter many times, so I decided to start working on making a Book of Mario translation for the newest entry in the Paper Mario series, and thus, Book of Mario: King of Miami was born! I hope this series brings you as much joy as laughter as it has to me :)

Paper Mario: The Origami King was a game with fun gameplay, interesting boss fight mechanics, a unique combat system, and a LOT of dialogue. Olivia is constantly popping up to give you very helpful and very useful information. Olivia in Paper Mario: The Origami King is VERY insightful. You also have this cool Bob-omb named Bobby that joins you on your journey to stop King Olly.

What is this?
Book of Mario: King of Miami is a (work in progress) horribly translated version of Paper Mario: The Origami King, where all of the game's text is taken, translated through many languages, and out comes text that remotely resembles its original meaning. It was originally inspired by the "Book of Mario" series that did the same thing on the original Mario games.
How much has been completed?
The first two streamers have been completed! I'm working on more translations while working on filming/ editing these videos and episodes are planned to be released on Saturdays at 1:15 PM EST!

You're welcome! Since I've discovered this channel and finally caught up with all the previous King of Miami videos I've enjoyed my time here so much!
Anyway, we discovered that Toad is the mysterious language in a paper room that Maria and Bolivia can't read, so they went to City of work, because apparently anyone there can read it.
However, according to the Snifit near the entrance, he and probably the others used to translate from Toad, but he forgot how.
It's all pretty interesting, but my favorite part is still the Snifit shaming on Maria for some reason (probably because she isn't dancing like him to the music)!
Although Bolivia saying that there is no reason for peace in response to the Snifit saying that sleeping in the desert is the only option was pretty good, too...

The Book of Mario lore is surprisingly coherent despite being chaotically translated (chaotically like chaos theory).
It helps that the events of the instigation of the war (Book of Mario 64) are a coherent story that is deep, and that there is a reference to a war in Thousands of Doors, so of course when Bolivia talks about war crimes the first thought is Thousands of Doors’ background war.
I can't wait to play the other Book of Mario games, I'm so excited to see more of them 😂 I've only seen a few clips, and I've really wanted to play them for a long time

Interestingly, it seems like that line "Well, at least I did not go down without explaining myself first" (at 22:00 and I think an episode or two previous as well) could be another Google Translate glitch, if the results from a quick web search are indicative.

"AskCactus" is not a thing but "askCactus" is a channel on UA-cam with 21 subscribers and 16 videos 1,653 views as of February 22nd in 2021 and they started their channel on March, 25 in 2019 if you don't believe me search it and click on the "search for askCactus" button because youtube will try to correct it to "ask Cactus"
