Water is weight ..consider filling up when you arrive ...or use bottled water as we do. Use camp bathroom facilities and shower when available or invest in a cassette toilet which is very easy to use .This all saves about worrying about tank levels . Ybor

Very true! But one thing we enjoy doing is using Boondocker's Welcome, which means you are at someone's private residence and using their land. So not exactly an option to use their bathroom and shower facilities. :)

Thank you so much, I really want to buy a Alto F2114 but am really worried about the small black tank capacity. I don't know how long will a 54 litter black tank last for 2+1 family. Now I have better idea. Looks like I should worry more about the gray tank...

That's right! But again depends how you use it. Since we wash dishes and shower we've got more gray usage for sure.

Did you change out the rear hitch? It's only rated for 120lbs and according to Safari Condos 10% rule your tongue wad around 240lbs?? Just asking because I'm in the market for the same trailer

I have been looking at the Model X (I likely will end up with a Y). How do you find traveling in the winter? Do you home charge? Did you get a level 2 charger installed? Or are you close to a Super Chargers?

Winter driving is just like towing a trailer except not as bad. Sub Zero and beyond temperatures you can expect your battery to deplete by 40% not only due to range but also because you probably don't want to freeze. 😁
When we bought our Tesla there were no local Superchargers but we charge at home so it isn't a problem. Now there is a service centre with a Supercharger two years later, plus also access to the network along the major highway for us. But we only use those when traveling. I've got a video for our Tesla Charger installation from a few years back if you're interested.

I am glad to see Tesla modelX tow an Alto 21 series. Thank you for this video. What was your Watthr per km or miles?
I heard 90 speed and I assumed it was km. Per miles is more important but I can convert it.
Are going you going to make a consumption video of the Model X with the Alto?

Our Watt Hour/Km was probably about double what we were used to. So above 400+ but of course heavily dependent on terrain.
