      I lost one off my restaurant once. Here in SO Cal along the coast we get gale force winds during storms. The self tapping screws don't work so well after being removed several times.
      I must have been lazy after cleaning the coils and didn't secure it very well. Lucky I didn't kill somebody. Now I have my refer guy put in the heavier gauge ones with all nuts and bolts.

      @@daveh681 see, this is exactly the kind of feedback HVAC/R techs and others need!
      as a side note there's nearly **zero** excuses for the stuff to not last 5 to 10 years untouched from date of install, other than chinesium cheaping out on component manufacturing.
      who wins in the end? not the USA............. lame typos lol

      They could get colder temps & more reliable temps on that air curtain case if they put that ranco sensor in the evap. set to 15 degree's and a 24 degree diff. probably / might not even need defrost clock anymore. maybe one Night defrost for 15 minutes as a precaution since its there allready.

      OcRefrigeration,Hvac & Electrical. To much work for a no issue at this time. Whoever set it up has it working in that location. Also in summer time there’s no air conditioning at that store, I have a feeling that’s why it’s set up like that. 👍

    Good work! I'm a fridgy in australia, never can get my head around way Americans switch neutrals, u guys call it the "hot" we call it the "active" or "line", and under no circumstances do we switch neutrals its si much safer to switch active in my opinion

    • @throttlebottle5906
      @throttlebottle5906 5 років тому +1

      much of the small commercial refer. is 208/240v split phase, meaning there is no neutral there, just two hots out of phase (center tap of transformer bonded to neutral/earth) so either remaining leg is 120V to neutral/earth and 240v across them ( 208v for 3 chicken) lol

    Why would someone add a Schrader to the suction when you have an access port at the accumulator rotolock? Good that you added a doghouse.

    • @kengardner5097
      @kengardner5097 3 роки тому

      Dual pressure controls are not weather tight either.

    • @kengardner5097
      @kengardner5097 3 роки тому

      Also if you replace the transducer with a dual pressure control you will have to remove the Schrader core, yes? Therefore headaches for future techs that must replace the dual press cntrl if it malfunctions.

    • @tomoliver8498

    Awesome vid ! i Really Like How u did That ! I Think the sealtite on the little pressure switches was a little over the top , even for me. 🤣 i would have just used a romex fitting on the control box and put em through. could u tell me why u sealtite those pressure switches ? i see those type of pressure switches in condensing units exposed to weather on residential Air conditioning condensers all the time and never seen a problem. Just wondering. Totally Awesome Video & Awesome telling us how u did it ! 👍👍👍👍👍 & ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. i would have probably went the Ranco / johnson Low pressure control way & just ran both fans all the time. But, i Like Your Way / this way Soooo much better. Thanks for Giving the part numbers and showing parts. im going to pick up some of those pressure switches. they Look cool ! i Use the High pressure safety / Man re-set of those type for many years and like them alot. Thanks Again ! Awesome vid !

      i just watched the video again. i think i just answered my question. ill bet u used the sealtite because u used butt connectors to join the pressure switch wires to make them longer and wanted to protect butt connections from rain.
